Luong's Restaurant saved us from having to settle for Tim Horton's for dinner. The meal was decent, far from Vancouver quality Chinese food, but good enough for us after a long day. I dismissed it as it could be the vegetable water from actual turnips. Turnips made the majority of the side vegetables. The turkey itself was unusually moist. So moist it was like it just came out of boiling water. Coincidentally the meat had a flavour of boiled water, meaning nothing. You have to boil turkey for a long time to have no flavor. Now the coup de gras was the bill. $20.50 for a sandwich on special and free drink. It was $13.29 on the menu. I still had the menu and brought it up when I paid. The waitress said that's the senior menu, you had the full menu sandwich. I pointed out that it says hot turkey sandwich. not half or anything else. I paid the extra $7 and left. This is a rip off. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This Canadian fast food chain serves up grilled burgers (Original, Double Original, Great Canadian), grilled hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, grilled veggie burgers, chicken strips, fries, onion rings, poutines, salads, l'il kids combos, Pepsi fountain pop and milkshakes. They are also featuring the Great Canadian Pulled Pork Burger on the menu. I wish they offered a Pulled Pork Sandwich (without the burger patty). The prices for most individual sandwiches & burgers $3.99-$6.79 (hot dog $2.69) and you can combo it with fries and pop for $2.50 more. The sandwiches/burgers are made to order with choices of toppings. Since I was not very hungry but it was lunch time, I got a L'il Original Combo ($3.99 plus HST) with Fries and Diet Pepsi and no toy. The burger came hot off the grill with grease covering the patty, placed on an open bun and topped to order with my topping choices (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, & ketchup). The greasy burger patty was average with a very firm and very chewy texture. The overall taste of the burger was good. The fries were okay and not too greasy.
