So grateful for this little neighborhood market. I can get decent deli meat (Boar's Head), a great craft beer selection, homemade iceceam and some local products all at once. Today I got a bottle of maple syrup that was tapped and bottled right down the street in Cohoes! Local maple syrup... Exciting. I didn't even know I needed it. They used to have a better selection. I went there for bacon and bread for breakfast and there were moldy rolls on the shelf! Plus the deli looks more and more disgusting. We would still stop by to support a local business for beer and packaged snacks (always checking the expiration). But then they put up that huge Trump sign. They didn't need to do that. Why alienate your clientele? They clearly make bad business decisions and don't know what they are doing. read more

The subs at LePage's used to be fantastic. Purchased one today and it is horrible and pathetic. Barely any roast beef. Pretty much all bread. Since the older guy retired I guess that department went way downhill. Won't be back. read more

Hadn't been there since Oct 2024. Stopped in today 3/30/25 and ordered a roast beef sub with lettuce, tomato, and american cheese. I received ONIONS, lettuce and american cheese. How does Onions sound like tomato and she even wrote it down! I can't do raw onions and my whole sub smells like them now. The subs in general are no where as good as they used to be. I will never be back. Miss Dan the Deli Man...he retired and it all went downhill. read more

My favorite neighborhood and family owned deli/store in the area. They have amazing food, a great selection of snacks and drinks, and a super friendly and always helpful staff. If you are a craft beer fan they also have an amazing selection of craft beer and if they don't have something you are looking for they will try to see if they can get it for you. read more

I'm so glad the new owners bought this former furniture store (which, let's be honest, was pretty run down and a bit of an eyesore), completely remodeled it and turned it into something fabulous. The building looks great and it's staffed with friendly people. Lepage's offers a nice beer selection, a deli, lotto, coffee, snacks, and a variety of odds and ends you'd expect. They also sell a few old-school candies I hadn't seen in a long time, like fireballs and candy cigarettes, as well as some local products you won't find at most other convenience stores. Did I mention that the Lake George Baking Company (formerly the Vanilla Bean) delivers a variety of deliciousness a few days per week? Yup. LePage's just opened (mid December 2011), so some items weren't fully stocked when I went in, but I recommend checking it out if you're in the neighborhood and seeking conveniences. Not your typical convenience store - not only do they have a decent selection of grocery items, they have a recently expanded, impressive beer cave, a deli with pretty good sub offerings, and a seasonal ice cream stand. The owners are extremely friendly, happy people and I enjoy shopping here to support a local small business. Visited over the weekend for some soft serve ice cream and was not disappointed, and realized I had never reviewed them previously. Easy access from anywhere in Cohoes, as well as from Route 9 (take the back road behind the dump and they are right on that road). The store is directly across from the Cohoes Falls, so that makes for a nice sight while you are enjoying a sandwich and/or some ice cream with family or friends. read more

Cool "mom and pop" place. Tony the owner is super friendly, makes you feel like family when you're in there. I live walking distance from there at Harmony Mill Lofts so to say this place is convenient would be an understatement. Ice Cream, beer, cigarettes, CANNOLIS, etc. I always get the Sunday paper from there and a few odds and ends. I always feel like they're happy to see me when I walk in. 5 stars all the way. Pretty nice little convenience store for Cohoes. Everything has been redone and looks great. They have a good selection of different drinks and snax. They also have a variety of beers and you can make your own 6-packs if that's your thing. My favorite part was the deli. They have Boarshead meats and its really convenient to just pop in a get some lunchmeat instead of waiting in long lines at the grocery store. They have an ice cream window for the summertime too! read more

I can't understand why all there pricing on everything is so much. 16 once bottle of creamer is $4. They may have a large selection of beer. But so what. Does that mean to raise the price that much. I've known the proprietor of this business (Tony) when he had his store on Vliet Boulevard in Cohoes.. 1980's- 90's.. As a little kid he treated us very well.. Let us use as many pumps as we wanted to on the slush puppy machine..lol, and even when he would walk by our house when we were kids selling Lemonade or pumpkins on the corner he would come and buy some just to make us happy (34 now).. I'm saying this because this is the way he runs his store.. He tries to make the customers happy and treat them like a part of a big Cohoes family..lol. At the last minute I tried to get a quarter keg of Miller light on a Friday night. Obviously it would be very hard for The beer distributor to get out for Sunday.. Actually it wouldn't even happen.. So instead he sold me 3 30 packs Miller light for less than what the keg cost.. It was a big help because I didn't have to put any deposits down on a tap or the keg.. It helped me get other things that I needed at the time.. He even went out of his way to call me on his personal phone to make the arrangements.. His employees are excellent!! friends, family and friends of family.. If you need anything special ordered he will have no problem doing it. He actually seems happy to do it, not bothered... It's a wonderful Hometown store and you will never find a nicer staff.. they do not make you wait.. Unlike some bigger stores who has one person on the register, and another person scooping ice cream while there is a 10 person Line.. this is a place where you will not run in to that problem.. Mr. LePage and his employees keep a very organized business plan.. Give the customers what they want with a smile, and get them out fast.. If you're looking for ice cream, beer and groceries Lapage's would be the place you would want to go.. It always seems to be on the way no matter which way you're going.. LePage's is a decent corner store that offers a bit more. Not only do you have the typical convenience store, you also have a deli, beer cave and an ice cream parlor. I stopped here one morning and picked up some snacks for the road, but if I was around during a different time of day, I could have definitely had a sandwich made or polished down a soft serve ice cream cone. I'll need to come back the next time I'm through Cohoes checking out the nearby Cohoes Falls. read more

Was here for the first time tonight and it;s very quaint and has a little bit of everything. INside very clean. Subs look yummy---would have liked to see local or homemade bread, but hey one thing at a time. Soft serve ice cream--decent, but too soft. It was melting very fast and it was only 72 out when I got the ice cream so it wasn't for the excessive heat. Overall, cannot wait to go back again and see what else that they have and see how it all tastes. read more

The service can be a bit spotty. I have a friend staying in the area who was recently served by Tony, and found his service to be insulting, imperious and denigrating. She asked for her receipt and was informed that it was "useless to do that" and that "nobody has asked for a receipt in a long time." This left a somewhat bad aftertaste, which dampened the buying experience. The service was somewhat overbearing. In other words, the service could have been better. There was a negative overall vibe. Well, thanks you for the timely response. Even though people may not ask for receipts for 7 years, still the issuance of a receipt for purchase is a given standard of sales. It is just expected. I think what threw my colleague and friend for a loop was that you were acting as if something was wrong with expecting a receipt, i.e. it seemed you were passing judgement and making a spectacle and "playing to a crowd" in the line of people behind her. This seemed neither appropriate nor professional and she was frankly shocked and disgusted. Basically she came in and patronized your establishment. How she did this was her business. When you stated that the receipt was "a waste ", she felt that this was non of your business and she did not appreciate the denigrating rhetoric that went on and on. It really was not your place and if she wanted her receipt, or not you shouldn't have interfered. read more

Very convenient to have Tony's right down the street. Of course we pay to have the convenience. They have a large selection of cold soda and snacks. Candy is not lacking there. You can buy basic household items. No frozen things or fresh veges. They do serve ice cream. I've never had it. The deli is a little expensive. But they offer Boars Head. Everyone who works there is very nice. We've never run into any employee in a bad mood. Which is awesome. As I stated it's great to have the shop right here. Just know you will pay for it. read more

It's a convienent store with a good selection of nessecities. It's a deli with great sandwiches and specials. It's a beer store with a great selection of craft and local beers.
