I have been going here for years so I get apples sometimes I get some candy I've had breakfast and lunch there. They have cider donuts and other Bakery goods. They have a really cute gift shop. The staff is really nice. That being said I don't think I've ever really liked a breakfast sandwiches and I went there for breakfast yesterday and you go and you put your order in at one counter and then you bring your ticket to another window and then they call your number and you get your food. I got one egg cuz I didn't want a lot I wanted toast I only wanted one toes but they do two toes and hash browns it's one order wasn't a huge order everything was $16 including the egg toast bacon a soda 20 oz in a Mallo cup. I suppose it wouldn't have been so bad if I liked it. The bacon was not good. It was very greasy and kind of also dry and gritty. The egg had no seasoning. The toast was good the jam was good the hash browns were good. I don't enjoy them for breakfast. I did have the best fish sandwich I've ever had in my life there a long time ago it was a special. Was that fish sandwich and had a yummy sauce. It's a fun experience to go there by do not like the breakfast. I couldn't get anybody to eat this bacon except the dog and she can't eat bacon. read more

Lakeside Farms is such a treat! We ordered some pies ahead of Thanksgiving and decided to grab some lunch while we were there. The place was packed, but the lines were always moving. Service was exceptionally friendly and they have something for everyone. They have a general store, fresh market and a gift shop. We perused all of them and took home some baked goods along with holiday decorations. My turkey sandwich was simple, yet delicious. So I came here in between appointments for lunch. I had never been here for lunch before. And let me tell you, I am so glad that I did! They have great Boars Head deli meat sandwiches! The sandwiches come with a pickle and a bag of ripple chips. A wonderful lunch from this incredibly adorable country store! They also have really good danish and glazed yeast donuts! I'm in so much trouble now! They also have $45 hanging flower baskets! I just love it here! read more

I have already written a lengthy positive review but today was special. Went there at 10 am with my daughter, SIL, and four and two year old grandchildren. We had a great time! Food was delicious as always. Today, my SIL decided to order the menu item: Egg Sandwich on an Apple Cider Donut! I never noticed that on the menu, and I was curious. Well, it was a hit; he liked it! We enjoyed seeing him eat every morsel. Check out the last photo. Both Pumpkin and Apple Cider Donuts were available. A taste of fall. It was a nice treat for the grands! Donuts made for a fun breakfast when eaten with quality crispy BACON. I had an open faced Turkey Reuben which was a little on dry side. Did not enjoy it. We love coming here with our extended family. The restaurant area has an old style general store as part of it and a great little gift shop and farm stand next to it. You get in line with a menu and order at the counter. They call your number and you pick up your food at the window. Everything is excellent on the breakfast menu and we always order too much and take some home. One day we will go for lunch as I have heard it's great. Afterwards the farm is a great place for the little ones to run around and play. Highly recommend this for a good home style meal and for families. read more

This place is SO CUTE. I live for little country stores like this. Fresh produce and local food finds, and they have fresh baked goods and hot meals?! We spent the first half of our visit perusing all of the nicnacs, local foods, produce, etc. everything was so tempting. I scoped a few things I wanted to purchase before we left. We ordered our breakfast from the counter and found a table to wait for our order to be called. I enjoyed my breakfast however my partner did not, so I guess it can be hit or miss. What can't miss is that bread though. I ordered the wheat bread and it was baked fresh in house. I couldn't leave without a loaf for myself. I also took advantage of their selections from Oscars Smokehouse and took home a nice smoked blue cheese. Simple good food, no frills. I don't live in the area now but in travels each year, get to stop here often. Today I purchased a huge lot Of fritters and donuts to bring home to family. Snagged a blueberry pie for the family dinner on Sunday. We dined on The Corrland - one of their speciality sandwiches which is amazing! It has roast Beef, turkey and bacon on in with Russian dressing and lettuce. Amazing and just Like it was 20 years ago! It now hosts on site a gift shop which has great goodies in it! I was traveling from Vermont to Albany. Apologies. I dug right in before taking pictures. This place is a farm stand with a vibe--an area for food, a bakery, and a market. I had a chef salad with chunks of turkey breast, salami, ham, and Swiss and American cheese. I had to take half home with me; Lentil soup was my winner! Hot and full of lentils and veggies. Saw a sign off the freeway for a cider mill, obviously had to stop! About a 10-15 minute detour from the freeway. SOOOOOO WORTH IT! I am picky on my cider mills. One of the best cider doughnuts if not my new favorite and great cider. Not too sweet but still fresh! They also have a full service bakery/cafe. Great area for your kids to burn energy too. They had a Cider Witch for Halloween throwing candy, what a great experience especially for my non verbal son with autism. Everyone was so impressed! read more

I love this place for soup and sandwich and it didn't disappoint! I had the beef barley soup and a roast beef sandwich on rye! I could only eat half of the sandwich but had the other half the next day for breakfast! The pumpkin cookies are my favorite. Their staff are so friendly. Great breakfast just 15 minutes from Saratoga Springs. I had a short (but WIDE!) stack of blueberry pancakes this morning. Seriously, the pancakes are the size of a dinner plate! My husband had bacon, eggs and cheese on a hard roll, topped off with a Boston cream donut he said was the best he'd ever eaten. My husband has been coming here with his family his whole life so we've been coming here every summer and fall while visiting his family. They have the breakfast line down to a science. Food is always hot and delicious. We love the fresh cider donuts outside and of course the cider witch! My son just loves her and now that she's more interactive in her shed it's an even more fun experience. The place is charming and the gift shop is really sweet with some great finds. Lakeside is a perfect place for breakfast. Hot, tasty, and well prepared food. You order, pay, drop your paper order at a window, then grab a seat. Once your food is up they call your number to come pick it up at the window. It's a super casual atmosphere where locals come and grab breakfast or lunch together. The apple fritter French toast is a bit decadent but delicious and tasty, especially if you have a sweet tooth. The other breakfast fare seems like quality diner food, except the bread is fresh and epic. Also the shop has a bunch of fresh baked goods all of which look excellent. Expert tip: My uncle who visits often swears by buying the day old donuts and popping them in the air fryer. read more

As a first time visitor to Lakeside, had varying feelings/opinions about this venue. It is a good meal albeit, incorrect in so many ways. Bags received as a result of the order did not reflect what was actually ordered. Had I been a grumpy old lady, I may have tried to have the order corrected. Staff that I did meet were not the most friendly so getting it corrected might have been problematic. Trying not to stand in a long line (of non-socially distanced individuals) we put our order in online. ok. Ordered was an english muffin with his eggs and meats. He got home fries. SO said home fries were good, but not an english muffin. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon, got breakfast sandwich with sausage patty. Ordered swiss cheese, got american. It's not a deal breaker, but was annoying just the same. Why put the info on the outside of the bag if you're not going to check to be sure you're actually putting said product in the bag? Store itself is a gold mine of fun things. Walls are lined with boxes of puzzles for sale. There are many products to take home and made your own breakfast. Coolers with a multiple products to take home. Outside, you can get your cider donuts with or without sugar coating. Cider is in the house, candy apples, and more. Pumpkins, gourds, hay, cider, veggys are also available in another section of the farm. Was a beautiful day for a drive to the farm. Had a nice breakfast and got our first of the season donuts. Parking is ok if you're willing to wait for someone to leave. Might be an easier visit Monday-Friday. read more

Especially since they close for the season next week. I picked up just a few things but mind you, I could have spent a fortune here. This is a great spot! I love coming here for apples and to enjoy the ambience. Something I try to do at least once per fall season. It is a very busy, but fun place to visit. You can eat here, you order your food and pay, then go try to find a table in the crowded cafeteria and wait for your food to be up. Have someone in your party stay at the table or I guarantee you will lose it, it is always so busy here. The noise level can be pretty high, which doesn't bother me, however wanted to point it out for those trying to find a new quiet place to try. This is not it, lol! The crowds and noise are all part of the fun, in my opinion. The only thing that is kind of tough here is the parking. It is a disorganized lot where you are constantly trying to avoid other cars in the cramped space. It does not have a lot of parking for the business that they do. Your car will be close to others, so be cautious of that. It is a really cramped lot. To me, it's worth it but I do wish they would sort something out for an improved parking area.
