The restaurant featured 50 guests from Denmark, Holland, Germany and Great Britain (including Scotland). I was there with my wife and three children - and honestly the kids menu for my two boys were by far the best in the establishment. Hamburger steak for my 5-yr old, juicy, red and well spiced. A sautéed cod for my 7yr old - the fish was flavorful and firm. Nice work and wonderful garnish. They got chocolate and vanilla ice cream, and by the looks of it, they were more than satisfied. The adults, however!. We ordered the most expensive wine on the card - a Les Amidyves 2011. Priced at €27 although the going rate in the nearby super market is €10,50 - and even that price is a bit steep considering that is not at all comparable to similar Côtes de Rhônes. It's not a good wine. Served chilled it makes a decent companion to a decent meal. But then it got worse. The set menu was ok but not great. Then came dessert time. By now the restaurant was full and the attention span of the waiters was exceeded by far. Numerous attempts to order coffee and dessert to no avail - and when the crème brûlée finally arrived, it was the worst I have ever tasted (having worked in Paris for 7 years that is something!). It was superheated somewhere in the process making the interior resemble a stirred omelet. Yikes! Why two stars, why the apparently uncalled exuberance? Kids menu. So if you are a group of kids, go! If there is an adult among you, find an alternative.

It was over a year ago when we were there so I will struggle to remember what I had. I believe it was a four course meal. I don't recall what I had as a first course, but the second course was some wonderful fresh goats cheese with a leaf lettuce salad. For my main I had the stuffed, deboned rabbit. It was tender and delicious with an amazing sauce. For the dessert I had a pairing of three small desserts. I remember the creme brûlée with the most clarity, because it was the best creme brûlée I have ever had. Instead of being flavored with the usual vanilla it had a slight hint of anise. Just the perfect amount. Of course we ate everything with some local red wine. During our stay in town we also bought a few bottles of wine at the Cave Terra Ventoux. Wonderful prices and the wine was even cheaper if you brought your own container. You could fill it right there for bulk rates!

The outdoor seating underneath a tree with soft lighting was charming. It's simple and just what you think of when dining in Provence. Service: The service was friendly, warm and efficient.
