after blowing a tire on a side road off Jack Mt road near Frenchglen on our new Jeep Compass I rolled into LS at 0800 on a Monday morning. Brian and his crew did everything they could to get me back on the road as inexpensively as possible. Unfortunately, the tire was toast and a replacement could not be found so.... I needed 4 new tires. I guessed $1000 and it came to $1000.88. pretty close. Brian is a jewel and treated me with utmost respect as we walked thru all the different scenarios that might get me back on the road. I have always taken our Mini Countryman to the dealer, but driving across the country last week from NYC to Oregon Coast we pulled into Burns, Oregon and yup, the indicator on my car said I had tire pressure failure. The tires were "Goodyear Run-flat tires". Les Schwab sent over a guy to inflate the tire in case I could not drive it over to the garage and he said, "you have a nail in the tire, I can repair that". I wasn't sure, in fact I just wanted to get a new tire, but he took the tire off, repaired it and said no new tire is needed! We drove the next 600 miles - no problem and I will be driving back 3200 miles on the repaired tire! Oh, the service was amazing, friendly and the price - just about free! WOW!!!! read more

Garret the assistant manager had a Poor attitude and was unhelpful. We are on a 3000 mile road trip, stopping for a tire repair and asked if they could help tighten a critical bolt on the fan, which we just tried to do ourselves 10 miles before. Concerned about liability, I was loaned a monkey wrench and lock tight to do it myself again. After trying one more time to see if Garret would try his impact wrench on it, he reluctantly stormed off to go get it. After degreasing my self, and going to go pay my bill for the tire, to my shock he charged me 10 dollars for five drops of lock tight. This is why I stopped buying tires from les Schwab a long time ago. If Les was alive today, he would be beside himself at what his company has become. To be fair, the other guys were friendly and would have liked to be helpful if their manager would have allowed it. These guys are AMAZING! So many freaky bad things happened to us during our camping visit to Malheur, so we didn't have high expectations about getting our tire fixed quickly on our way home from Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. Surprise! Our tire was immediately taken in for repair and was replaced in fewer than 30 minutes!!! FOR FREE!!!! We bought all weather tires at Les Schwab in Sisters, Oregon, so apparently the warranty carries over to all Les Schwab stores. We LOVE the Sisters, Oregon store and now we love the Burns Les Schwab. This is the best Les Schwab Tire Center in America hands down! I absolutely dread going to other tire places because everyone is always so grumpy, or seem like I am an inconvenience to them or they try and rip me off, but this location is unlike any other location. I am consistently treated well and always walk out feeling like I didn't get ripped off. Generally this location has been spot on but the reason for this 5 star review is because of the service I received today. I work very long shifts and I only get a 30 minute lunch so trying to get anything done at normal hours is always hard to do. I came in today feeling terrible that I needed a tire rotation so close to their closing time (less than 45 minutes till close) but I was at about 8k miles since my last rotation so I needed it done bad!! Jared was super happy to do a quick rotation for me and it took him less than 20 minutes which is the fastest I've ever had it done before. On top of that I travel to Portland a lot where crime is very high and it's a fear of mine that my tires will get stolen so I have 1 single locking lug nut on each of my tires and I forgot to leave the key out for him. I told him to go ahead and grab it out of my center console and I forgot that I had left cash money in there but when I checked after my rotation it was still there which really shows the integrity of the employees and this store. I actually called to make an appointment but was told I could be seen right away for a oil change because they wasn't busy. I arrived 10 mins after hanging up and a mechanic ask me if I needed something as he approached my car, I replied "yes, my oil changed" the guy told me he had to see if they had time to do it (scratches head) now typically I don't just call people racist unless they actually show me or give me the idea that they are. I'm a black man who travels for work just to paint this situation for the readers. So he comes back out and says if I can leave my car and come back they would call when they get it done, now this is my only means of transport and I was told to come now so I was confused on why I would have to leave it there. I asked can I just wait on the inside the guy insisted that he would try to find me a ride which again I was told to come now so why would I leave it, and on top of that I'm the only customer there at the time. He said wait as he see if someone can drop me off at my hotel, not knowing that I wasn't leaving my vehicle there. Another guy comes out and ask if I was the guy who just called, I replied yes he then says I'll get you in now we're not busy, I asked if I could wait on the inside he said yes there's chairs. So I proceed inside. Well long story short I got a free tire Rotation with my oil change, oil change cost me $74, they didn't tighten my lug nuts all the way, (left them loose) none of my 4 tires nor did they actually change my oil as I realize my gas is burning at a fast rate. Checked my oil 3 days after and it was still dirty not the look of a recent oil change. This saddens me for I'm a paying customer but from the jump I felt there was a issue with providing me service, never been the one to bite my tongue but I chose to not take that route for I know there's little to none black Americans in this town and the outcome of me defending myself I don't think would end well for my safety. It's 2022, to the people who was raised to be this way you are old enough to know wrong from right, make better decisions, I shouldn't have to feel I can't get service anywhere I'm spending my hard earned money because of my skin color. read more

Thank you Les Schwab, but the biggest Thank you goes to Bryan, a humble employee. My husband and I were assaulted on Hwy 395 when a truck followed us due to our California plates. We were hit in the front end of our truck and caused major damage. Hit and run, the cowards fled. We were at our wits end, had no way to retrieve our trailer. Bryan without hesitation offered up his personal truck so we could limp our trailer to town. Bryan made sure he got Chrysler parts and fixed out truck so we could get home and take care of body damage. we went in for a trip check and to have my tires rotated. they checked are breaks and never gave us a option to get new breaks. we drove 400 miles and broke down in Tonopah Nevada. $1400.00 dollars and five days later we were on are way. Then talking to the manager in Burns Oregon he told me they don't push sales and they were in the specks. they could of giving us a chance to have them replaced and saved us some money. that is the reason we went there to begin with. read more

I've been a customer of Les Schwab for many years. I'm used to excellent service and being treated like family at my local Sweet Home center. I breathed a sigh of relief to discover there was a Les Schwab nearby when our battery died outside Burns while vacationing this spring. We walked into town and waited for the Burns Les Schwab to open an hour later. Soon we saw a gentleman inside who not only opened up for us an hour early, but he gave us a ride back to our car with the new battery we purchased. We were able to drive back to the service center where they helped us locate a new alternator. Even though they didn't typically replace alternators, a mechanic at the Burns service center was willing to take on the challenge. He did it in half the time quoted, and the car was ready for the road an hour later. Being on vacation, we didn't have the fund available or sufficient credit available on our Les Schwab account. But our hometown Les Schwab in Sweet Home came through, upping our credit to make it all happen. Les Schwab literally saved our vacation and did it like superheroes. It's incredible to have such a team covering your back; no matter where you are! Thank you for your amazing service, your kindness, for going the extra mile and believing in us as much as we do you. We are traveling from Socal to Banff in an 89 VW Westy and have been in Burns for a few days... we needed a tired rotation and stopped in here at a few minutes before it opened...Never been to a Les schwabs before... they came out right away and the manager had us out in roughly 20 minutes... rotated 4 tires!! Went to pay and they said no charge - said it's corporate policy - these guys not only rotated the tires for free but they cleaned them as well!!! One of the few companies left out there that truly cares about the customer. I was towing 20,000 lbs. on worn out tires on my way to Denver and wanted to put some new ones on so I wouldn't have to worry. I came in at 6 am wanting to be first in line as I had 12 hours to drive that day. They dropped what they were doing and had my new tires on before the store was even open. They did this without making me unload my truck or unhitch my trailer. Any company with employees this courteous and hardworking will get my business regardless of location. read more

A couple of weeks ago, we got a flat tire between Bend and Burns while travelling from Salem, Oregon, to Nampa, Idaho. We limped into Burns on the spare and pulled immediately into Les Schwab. They were amazing! Repaired our flat and we were back on the road in less than an hour. And, most surprising of all ... there was no charge for the service! While driving home across the state we had a tire issue on a Sunday. While the "emergency" guy looked at our tire and found a problem, he said he would replace it. After looking he couldn't find a tire the right size, so he decided to put the spare tire on. He asked my husband if it was a front wheel drive, my husband said no, it's an all wheel drive. He told us we could easily make it to Bend to get a new tire because the spare can go 150 miles. After getting to Bend we realized that our rear differential was destroyed and the car wouldn't move because we drove on a spare for that long on an all wheel drive car. $3500 and 2 weeks later we got our car home. I'm not saying that what he did was intentional, but after talking to other people, someone in the tire business should have known that this was a bad idea. read more
