I have taken my cadilice to Fred's several times for large and minor fixes and everything they have given me honest true feedback while explaining things as needed so I can actually understand what's wrong with the car instead of telling me what I need to fix and how much. No matter the challenge my car proves to them they are always willing to tackle the challenge head on. But, then I called a local, Colville Tire. They sell all the major brands, gave me options on what each set would run, installed. No pressure. No upsell. Cool! We made an appointment for a few weeks - closer to when we might start to need them. When we showed up, we were told the tires had not come in. This was pretty disappointing, not to mention annoying (we have to drive 40 miles to get there) since we'd scheduled so far ahead of time. The manager assured us we'd get a call to come in within a couple days. Sure enough, the call came and we scheduled for the next day. Service, once I got there, was prompt. The waiting area is a small, 12x12 room, but the four of us waiting were able to maintain "safe" distances (COVID). The final price was respectable - far better than we were quoted by the national competitors. We'll be back in the spring to get the tires switched out. Colville Tire did okay.

The mechanic checked the plugs and found one that was totally broken. He installed a used one to get me home and suggested I get the truck in for a tuneup sooner than later. Less than a week after passing, we had her burial on a Saturday. After the holiday Monday, another sister opened a letter from Colville towing stating they were auctioning off the very badly damaged vehicle. My sister who'd been in the crash had very serious head injuries, there is no possible way she could have approved this before passing. Once my other older sister had opened the letter, she immediately called and spoke to a lady who told her she could come retrieve the personal belongings but it had to be done before 11am that same morning. This heartless business owner can go to hell for all I'm concerned.

Immediately after I noticed this, I started calling around to find someone to haul my pick up to the nearest garage. Towmater was the ONLY one willing to come out and help. My own insurance roadside policy couldn't find anyone. Towmater was VERY accommodating. Although he had to drive over 10 miles to haul my truck 1.2 miles, he charged me very little. The other tow companies I called? Their first question, even before telling me if and when, was "How are you going to pay"? Towmater said, "Well bud, let's just get ya there, and we'll work it out". I was glad to pay the $75. This guy is tops in my book, and if I ever need another haul, he'll be the one I choose.
