My brother-in-law advised me to check out Les Schwab so I went to the one in Coquille and mentioned my car probably had some meat still left on the front brake pads but I had vibration in the front wheels meaning my rotors needed to be turned or replaced. I went off in search of breakfast while they assessed the job. About 20 minutes later I got the news that they would only need to turn the rotors. Wow! That was awesome news! I wish I could give them a zero star, I've had so many issues with them, and I'm not sure why I've continued with them, but I'm FINISHED! Some Les Swab people are really rude to you. Their tires are not the best quality! I've bought one of their good rain and snow tires, and they didn't last as long as my point S tires of the same quality. Their batteries have failed 2x before the warranty is up. Compared to a battery, I got elsewhere that lasted. I had an issue with my car and took it to THREE DIFFERENT Les Swabs, and EACH one told me a DIFFERENT issue. So, I took it to 2 mechanics, and they both came up with the same problem, but it wasn't ANY of the ones the Les Swabs said it was. They are WAY overpriced. GO ELSEWHERE! Shop around, there's way better places out there than Les Swab. I find a mechanic is cheaper than Les Swab for breaks, oil and such. read more

I want to give a shout out to Jim and his team. We bought this new to us Ford F350 which came with these huge gnarly oversized " dude" tires and rims which I felt were over the top and affected the ride....They showed us what they could change, what was in stock and even showed us a better priced tire than what I thought I needed.... WOW!!! My husband and I had been glamping in our 20ft Lance for the last week and a half. On the way to Port Orford we noticed the breaks were squicking. There was no place to get our truck breaks fixed near Port Orford. My husband called Les Scwab in Coquille and they said that they could get us in first thing the next morning! When we arrived they got us straight in and we did not have to disconnect our trailer either. Jim helped repair the breaks. He also went the extra mile by teach us how to save wear and on our truth breaks by adjusting the breaks on our trailer! He even took the time to drive with my husband to show him how to use more of the trailer breaks and decrease pressure on our truck breaks. I would recommend this location to everyone! Unfreakin' believable! This business sets the entire standard for "customer service". Not once, not twice, not even three times being a limit for excellence... this place continues to blow my mind. Not sure where to start or stop, but over the years the "Les Schwab" model for customer service has well spoken to so many, I'm sure. Us included. But since our stint in Coquille, we've seen this service elevated to a whole new level. Without detailing ever single visit and how great we were treated, suffice to say that when a new family in town drops off a bicycle in need of a tube in the tire, and you're told to "simply leave it" and it'll get fixed, you anticipate paying. Only at Les Schwab would they know the importance of fixing the little guy's tires too. So they did. No charge. I'm overly impressed with this business model. If only more local businesses would concentrate efforts on how to satisfy a customer and keep them coming back for life... shopping would be more fun everywhere! Today you still get the best in service and helpfulness from Les Schwab Tires, which was founded by a real Oregonian. Employees get paid well and they hustle, work hard and are good at what they do. Brake service is great. During vacation, we found we needed front brakes. Called from our campsite an hour away. They checked our previous brake records from other services we had at the other end of the state, and found exactly what we needed done. Not a long wait at all. In April, 2013, my husband and I were visiting relatives in Coquille. My husband discovered that one of our brand new tires had picked up a nail and the tire was flat. On the recommendation of my father, we took our 4 Runner to Les Schwab. We also needed to get our tires balance and rotated again after a series of lengthy trips.Dave , the manager, told us to leave the car there and when we came back a few hours later, the tires had been repaired, rotated and balanced--and there was no charge.
