When we called PURE MOTORS to see how the truck was doing, they informed us that it never arrived at their location. My son called Ol Reds to ask where his truck was and it had been towed Hotchkiss Motors in Hotchkiss. We had never even heard of Hotchkiss Motors. Ol Reds response to my son was to cuss him out, telling him that he told them to go to Hotchkiss Motors. PURE AUTO was nice enough to go down to Hotchkiss Motors and bring the truck up to their shop. The person on the phone was EXTREMELY CONFRONTATIONAL AND RUDE AND NEVER DID OWN UP TO HIS COMPANIES MISTAKE. We will ensure that USAA never uses them as a tow company on the western slope. I'd rather walk than use this disreputable company. PURE AUTO was absolutely amazing, did an amazing job on the diesel truck, they were fair, perfectionists and the work was done perfectly and correctly! Now USAA will be informed that they are an auto shop that is honest and responsive.

The one positive is that they didn't turn me away within having to deal with my very difficult…read moreinsurance (full coverage) that had caused other body-shops to not want to handle my vehicle repair following an accident. With that being said save yourself the headache! After having my vehicle for 3 months to complete repairs, my paint is very clearly dripped as well as has an orange peal texture, various panels/ trim are not aligned, the trim is marked up with odd texture, the paint is now pealing around the trim where it was overworked, the hood is not aligned, and there is now what appears to be a pellet/ small caliber bullet indent/ paint damage that wasn't there previously. I complained and they gave me my $500 deductible back. However, upon taking it to the dealership for membership routine maintenance, I was informed that their poorly done work had deprivation my vehicles value by over $5000 easily, so I would've rather just paid my deductible and had my vehicle repaired correctly with integrity. Now, I'm stuck figuring out who to take it to that is trust worthy and cover the cost of fixing all of the work done out of pocket, verses the insurance finances they were paid to do the job to begin with.

Beware of this guy. His quote for a new RV air conditioner was hard to accept but I was willing to do so as it was the weekend during a heatwave. On Monday I was able to locate a new unit at a reputable dealer in town and when I informed Mr. Lucero that I needed installation only, he confirmed that he would be there first thing in the morning to install it. Mid-morning I called him and he claimed to not know who I was. When I made further calls, he did not pick up. I had to break camp and tow my RV to the reputable dealer who installed the unit in a timely manner at a reasonable price. The dealer did the install and disposed of the old unit at no additional cost whereas Mr. Lucero was going to charge $280 for disposal.
