Trey took the time to show me the options, what they looked like and really provided some valuable insights as a truck owner himself. As always Les Schwab provides top tier service, patience, and support for your needs! It's one of my favorite businesses to go to when I have tire/suspension/brake issues. Getting 4 stars because I was told the price for shocks would be $1300-$1400 but when I arrived to pay I was told the price was actually $1850. I don't feel like I was cheated, more that the salesperson didn't verify the pricing beforehand and that $400 difference could be significant for others less fortunate. Always have had great customer service here whether I purchased the tires from them or not. They will check your tires, fill them with air and fix flats usually with very little waiting time, for free, and polite technicians. Yesterday, I brought my car in because the steering wheel was vibrating at higher speeds. They evaluated my cars brakes, tires, alignment and rebalanced my tires and rotated them for free. My car now runs perfect. Joes garage told me that I needed to spend 1000 on new tires and an alignment . Integrity auto said I needed to spend 1200 on new brakes . Neither of those things needed to be done. Hard to trust most auto places these days. It's refreshing to have a go to place near my house that I can trust not to take advantage of me! Although Costco tires are generally cheaper, I will only buy tires from Les Schwab. Can't beat the customer service read more

So very pleased with my experience at this Les Schwab. My partner and I were heading out that same morning for a vacation, and I noticed a huge patch was taken out of my tire. It wasn't enough time to make an appointment so I had called and asked about walk in times, and they had said a out 1-2 hours. When I brought my car in, they said they'd have to pick up the set that I needed, and it may add an hour to the wait. Les Schwab on Division Avenue provided me with excellent service. I went in with a low air reading on my tire and a visible nail puncturing my tire. I was expecting the worse news on my run flat tire. Instead, I received great news that the puncture could be patched! They patched it at no charge. While I was there an elderly lady had come in because she was having problems with her battery. They checked it and told her that her battery was in excellent condition and the problem was that she probably was not driving it enough, which she admitted was true. They did not charge her anything either. I am so impressed with the honesty and helpfulness of Les Schwab. I went in for an alignment Wednesday 9/4. I had just had a certified mechanic replace most every part on the left side of the suspension. Everything was brand new. The alignment was supposed to cost $129. I got a call later that day stating that the the rod end (brand new) needed to be replaced. I was skeptical but went down and took a look and agreed to it. They kept my car overnight. The next day I get a call stating the wheel studs (brand new) were stripped and need to be replaced. The new total at this point is almost $400. Now I'm getting frustrated, but again I agree. I get a call the next day stating that they tried to put new wheel studs in, but they won't fit. Now they want to replace the entire knuckle assembly (all brand new) with a cost of almost $1,000. Why do they need to replace the entire knuckle to fix a stripped wheel stud you say? I have no idea. They also didn't have a good explanation. Worst case scenario, you press in a new hub at 1/5 the cost. They are con artists at this location. At this point I'm at my wits end. I am pissed. But I didn't want to deal with towing it so against my better judgement I called back the next morning and told them to just do it. The guy I talked to that time was actually pretty nice and told me he'd have the other tech get a second opinion and they'd only do what is needed. I call back four days later after not hearing anything and they hadn't even ordered the parts or worked on the car. That was the last straw for me. I had the car towed to tiresport and they did me up right for 1/3 the cost. My dad warned me to never do business with this place. I should have listened. Don't give your money to this garbage organization. read more

Brought my electric in for a flat tire. It had to be left at the shop for a few nights and I asked them to charge it. They let it completely die, and didn't offer an apology or help while I had to pay an extra $125 for a tow and get it jump started. It would have been nice if they had just plugged it into the wall socket like I'd asked. Bad customer service experience. read more

I dropped my car off for a nail in the tire ( husband was at Schwab's for 18 years) so familiar with the process. Dropped off at 11 am, let them know I'd be back around 1. Came back at 1:30 and still was not done, in the same spot. I said it's been 2.5hrs for a nail in the tire that's ridiculous- and the manager was absolutely rude (Dave) and told me well the 6 cars in front of you had the same in a defensive tone - really Dave? Customer service is not your priority and it was obvious. Reading other reviews it looks to be a trend in behavior. I would never bring my car here again. Out of nowhere my tire started squealing a very loud high pitched screech. I was driving by Les Schwab so I quickly darted in and they gave my tires a free brake inspection. They found a rock stuck in the caliper and removed it. No charge for the service. Huge relief for me. read more

For various reasons, mostly financial, I purchased tires at Costco after lifting my truck. I took the truck directly over to Les Schwab for an alignment after the tires were installed and noticed the tires rubbed despite having be reassured by Costco that they checked for it. Needless to say, this concerned me after spending $1000+ on the truck. Les Schwab was, as always, extremely busy when I arrived, and the front desk still took time to understand my situation. Then, they hustled to get my truck on their rack two hours before my appointment, thus saving me from waiting even longer to figure out if my new tires would have to be returned. Turns out an alignment was all that was needed to stop the rubbing. Bottom line, Les Schwab took time to take care of me, the guy who buys tires elsewhere and comes to them to fix my problems, and this is completely inside my experience with the company. I'll be back to Les Schwab, because they are fantastic employer that focuses on customer service. read more

This place is a joke. I brought my car there on a Wednesday at 11:00 am, it had a nail sticking out of the tire. It was slow, 2 people in the waiting room. He said it would still be an hour. I agreed and left my keys. After not hearing anything for over an hour an a half, I went to see what was going on. My car was still in the same spot and still had a nail in the tire. When I asked about it. The manager was a real piece of work, telling me that they would get to it. He had a bad attitude when I asked how much longer. And that they should give people a heads up. Some people get dropped off. After I asked for my keys back the manager followed me to my vehicle and argued with me about giving people quote times. I will never bring my vehicles to this location and I have spent thousands here over the years in Eugene. I recommend any other location over the river road les Schwab. Really bad customer service, the worst part is he tried to tell me my car was next, when I saw cars that came in after mine in the shop. And he made sure to tell me it would only be a 15 minute fix. So why did I not get my tire fixed? What a waste of a good day. I should of read all the reviews that tell you to avoid this place. But when there is a nail in your tire, you just want it to get fixed. The manager is named Dave, I have never had to deal with someone so unprofessional, I feel bad for his employees, if he talks to customers like that, I can only imagine how he talks to dog. I've always had good experiences here but last night made this place review worthy. I had to get my flat tire fixed to head out to Portland to make a flight. I brought my car in 20 minutes before close and these guys got it taken care of in less than 15 minutes without a single complaint or groan. I used to be a very loyal customer of this Les Schwab, but today's experienced reversed that completely and I won't be returning. I made an appointment on Thursday for today (Saturday), got there and it wasn't on the calendar at all, so everything was pushed back an hour because they had to "squeeze me in". I was told it would be done by closing today, and then I received a call at 5pm, the exact minute they close, and was told I have 15 minutes to get there or I can't have my car until Monday. The staff essentially belittled me for taking so long to get an alignment. I'm here now trying to fix it and I'm paying you to do that - I don't need to be insulted because I don't always readily have an extra $120. I feel personally insulted, the appointment error is unacceptable and, as always, it's fairly expensive to go here. I will be finding somewhere else to take my family's cars from now on. read more

This was probably the worst customer service I've gotten at a tire place. The thing is the lady at the front desk was dismissive and rude. She told me I was wasting my time asking for a quote without my truck actually being there. My tires are bad and I didn't want to drive my truck around to get a quote, so I walked in the the make and model of my truck. She couldn't find my exact tire size and didn't know where to begin to find it even after I told her the exact truck I had. I was looking to buy four tires and want to see some of my options. Well if you are window shopping do not come here. If you have a hole in the tire or know exactly what you want I'm sure it's fine. Nicest guys here to help you in a lurch. I bought 4 new tires this year from the west 11th location. Let's just say I had the worst experience at that location multiple times to the point I had to call corporate. I get a flat tire this morning (second one this month) and call to get some help and they wanted to charge me $50 to even come out (west 11th location) the tires were $140 new. Last time they came out it was no fee so not sure why that changed. So I put the spare on myself and took my car into another location by my child's school. (Division) I called them first and they were so nice told me how long it would be and free. I get here and am greeted by the 3 nicest guys behind the register. Very welcoming place, got my car in the garage the first 15 minutes I was there and talked to me with the most respect after explaining my situation. This will be my new place For business. This particular location saved our bacon last night. We were having some car trouble and were narrowing it down to the battery. This was decided around 5:45. I called Les Schwab and asked how much to replace it with install. It came to a total of $110. What stands out about this experience was when my wife arrived it was 6pm on the dot, which is the time they close. She was treated nicely, no body rolled their eyes and whined and complained. They got her in, and got her out in about 15 minutes, allowing us to have our family sedan running again. Jason was the man who helped. Very kind and professional. I have been a loyal customer for over 35 years. That deing said. My experience has been nothing less then perfect. I'm writing this review prior to having some brake work on my 2005 nission pathfinder . The original brakes are still in great condition. The vehicle has only 50,000 miles. I'm the original owner. My issue is the original brake system (factory equipment) have always been less then avarag in braking preferences. They just have always felt like mush with any heavy braking applied. Today I brought my car in to have tires they mounted yesterday to be put on my car along with an alignment. During the time I was there since my boyfriend doesn't know much about cars, they proceeded to tel him the BRAND new tires I had mounted were "too used" and I'm better of with my flat rear tires which is clearly not safe. that was the first thing. the second thing is with these tires being brand new, then tried to trick my boyfriend into buying a completely new set of tires from them AFTER we bought brand new tires along with a $150 "tire grip" but all they needed was to be mounted onto new rims. If you're looking for an HONEST no gimmicks establishment that gives good prices AND quality work, this is not the place. most definitely recommend point s in creswell. they checked my new tires I need put on,told me they looked fine. 20$ per tire on and 89$ alignment rather than paying $130 to a company that doesn't care about its customers. read more

I loved my home town Les Schwabs, so thought I would give the river road location a shot. 1-Salesmen was very nice and helpful, got me what I needed with no up-cell. 2- Clean and comfortable waiting area, cell phone charging area and good coffee. 3- Service was fast and very professional. 4- Galls behind the counter were helpful and funny, very easy to deal with. They ran right out to my wife and checked her brakes for free. They said there was absolutely nothing wrong. The next day the tire seized up and could not move as the inside brake pad was completely missing! The caliper welded itself to the rotor. Any idiot and most blind men would have caught that if they had just looked. I wouldn't trust them to take training wheels off a bike. We took my brother's 2002 Ford Taurus in for a new rear brakes. The first quote said it would cost $199, and that is with the drums being turned. Then he called me back and told me that the brake adjuster was broken and will replace that and then he told me at most it would cost $359. Which is outrageous for rear brakes on a 2002 Taurus. I had told them That I was going to be taking care of the bill from the beginning for my brother. But after the last call and on Saturday and when the car was ready Monday afternoon, no calls about more work or cost. The receptionist calls my brother and tells him it will be $300 then the mechanic calls 30 minutes later and says it will cost $469. WTF? He said she didn't have the "final" invoice. After being told by Kendal Honda that my tire with a nail in it was not repairable and that I needed 4 new tires I went to Les schwab to buy just two tires because the van is only 2 years old and really shouldn't need new tires. After an hour they called me up to pay and asked me if I wanted the receipt emailed to me. I asked how much the total was and they said ZERO. They repaired the tire for free and said I didn't need new tires yet. I honestly started to cry. They were just so nice and I had been having a hell of a day. I have gone here through out the years to get tires, brakes,and snow chains through the years and have been extremely happy with the service. With not just this location, but pretty much all of them I have been to. Lately we have gone to this location for our needs and have been pretty satisfied! About a year ago we were having issues with our truck shaking wile driving, and another tire place recommended tire beads which made it worse. Turned out it was a tire issue, and the wheel was slightly bent. We bought new wheels and tires from here and the truck seems like a new truck! We replaced our brakes on our trailer here, and a few days ago I needed 4 new tires on my car. We also thought we needed new brakes because the Acura dealership we bought the car from said we did. Thankfully they said the pads were still new and the rotars just needed turned. My car is AWD and as soon as I drove it off of the lot I could tell the difference in grip, and the way it stops is already better. Thank you! read more

Jared drove me to my daughters car, aired up the tire and I was able to get her car to the store on Division. They were able to replace the tire and have it back to us in an hour.
