Father and son business and I came to them to have some jewel appliqué embellished jeans hemmed because I'm a petite 5'1 girly and it's hard to find jeans that fit! I called them on Easter weekend and they were about to close shop early for the holiday weekend but I caught them right before closing and they agreed to stay open just long enough for me to get there and drop off the jeans. I arrived and Mr. Imparali (their dad) stayed after just to measure my hem and then the tune around time was quick! Just a few days later we picked up the jeans and they even expedited it for us. I had 2 jackets this time and I was charged $239.23 for alterations. She gave me a ticket but in the price it had 2_39.23... notice the space so I thought the cost was 2x $39.23., which I thought that's reasonable. Well to my surprise when I went to picked them up she said $239.23...I was like really wow if you would had told me that I would not have left them. I can get a new one for that kind of money, since these were old jackets. I even asked her about a stain on one of them and she said "oh yea that will come off." So, I called up this other place that is on the other side of town and asked how much they charge for what I had done.. they said they would have to look at them but normally they run between $50-$75 per jacket. Maybe is just me but $239.23 for alternations does not make sense.. I paid since I guess it was kinda my fault. I should have asked..but seriously no reasonable person would charge that much without verifying verbally that the customer knows how much he is gonna pay. She pulled a lawyer trick on me. I have had one dress altered for a wedding that was decent enough for a one time event. I trusted…read morethem enough to start doing my dry cleaning there. They speed up on pricing for my work clothes price wise. Every time I I went there it was 75-150 dollars. I never made complaints because I'm not a rude person. I started to notice buttons on my satin shorts melted off, stains I pointed out to get removed not removed. I said something nicely the second to last time I went in about them not getting a smell and stain out of two shirts. When I went back in after I had paid 85.00 dollars the prior visit for the damaged clothes the woman told me they only did, " dry cleaning only". I then went on to tell her these are dry cleaning only, please read the label. She went silent and said she'd try to fix it. Came back to find she couldn't do silk or polyester because they don't do cleaning of stains or smells. I took the same shirt three times it costing 7 dollars per visit alone for that shirt on top of 3 dozen others. Went home and washed them myself in the washer; no buttons melted, no stains, no smell, no damage. I do NOT recommend this place. They ruined half my clothes and still charged me for it. They verbally told me they didn't know how to get deodorant out of silk or polyester then went on to charge me 75.00 dollars not including the shirt they didn't wash for the second time. I'm normally a very polite person and was never rude and very unprofessional. Uptown cleaners I would recommend 100% .

Nowadays shirts are about $4-5, jackets are a bit pricier like $10-$12, pants $4-6 or so (estimating from my recent visits). They're extremely considerate and will put aside any pins or accessories if you accidentally drop them off. Parking is generally very easy in the little plaza. It's especially nice that they're open for a little while on Saturdays for people that can't make it during normal work hours.
