I stopped by the store yesterday 2/14/26 between 2:30 and 2:50 PM to get a "quote" on getting my jeans cut from the bottom since the length was too long. The pregnant lady whomever she is requested I put the pants on and I agreed. Mind you she never really greeted me or said much other than a quick hand gesture to room and to try pant on. I came out she took pins right away and started to hem the pant up. I said how much she told me the price. I said ok that's not bad, but I'll be back because I have 2 pairs and I want to make sure which size of pant I'm going to keep and also bring my cowboy boots in with me since I want to wear these pants specifically with my boots. I wanted to make sure the length was right with my boots on. Mind you I simply came in for a quote. From the moment I told her this she unpinned the pants and completely walked away from me and ignored me as if i was non existent and a nobody. She was so RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. No customer service etiquette at all. It was so bad that she knocked on the fitting room door to rush me out the store as I was changing back into my original pants I walked in with stating that their was a customer needing to try on. While she had 2 other open rooms "this customer" could have used to change. In my entire life I have never been treated in such a way. She priced me well and I had every intention of coming back, but based on how she treated me a potential customer I absolutely will not come back nor will I recommend this place to anyone. My business will be given elsewhere. ZERO STARS is my true rating. I'm surprised they have such good ratings which is why I came in the first place but that was absolutely not my experience here. That lady whom was pregnant has ZERO customer service skills she is extremely RUDE and should be removed from her position if she is not the owner. I did ask her if she was the owner she said nothing. I asked her "Why do you have an attitude"? I have only been here once but it did not disappoint! I had a wedding coming up and I needed my bridesmaid dress altered asap (like 2 weeks in advance) and I stumbled upon this place through a recommendation. The owner was super nice and very helpful. I tried on my dress and the shoes that I was going to wear with it and she immediately started to give me suggestions and listened to my concerns. Within 2 weeks, my dress was ready and fit perfectly and exactly the way I wanted it to. The material was satin and I could not tell where she altered it, it was that seamless!! Price was very reasonable too for the time crunch and the material of the dress. Really happy with the results and I will definitely be back the next time I need alterations! read more

I visited TTN Tailors b/c it's close to my house, and got good Yelp ratings. However, the lady working there was rude to me from the moment I walked into the store. She didn't care to listen when I tried to describe the length I wanted my pants to be hemmed, and then got annoyed when I told her they were too long when I picked them up. I have no idea how this place has such good online reviews. I absolutely will not return, based on my experience. read more

I have been going to this place for many years, before they recently changed ownership. Still the same lady. Still up front pricing which has never varied when I have picked up my alterations. Her work is very good & I do not have any complaints. Prices are very fair & the work is always done within the agreed time frame. There are 3 dressing rooms for privacy when changing your clothes. The place is always clean & the lady there very attentive & knows what she is doing (my mother is a retired designer so I know quality work when I see it). When hemming, she will turn you around for different angles & wait for your agreement on the length. She has replaced several zippers, hemmed & altered things for me. Convenient & clean location. We have been coming here for years! We have brought her simple alterations; pant hems and cub scouts patches to be sewed in. To move complex alterations, shortening a sleeve to suit alterations. Her work is always done on time and will accommodate a quicker turn around if she is able to do it. She does have a credit card minimum... I believe it is nothing less than 12.00 but I am not positive. She is such a sweet lady and I hope to be a regular customer for many more years! read more

Extremely polite and professional. The owner here cares about her work and truly wants to make sure you're satisfied. I had a jumpsuit I ripped and needed fixed within two days and no other place would take it. She had no issue taking it, making sure I was happy, finishing on time, complimenting , and assuring she's providing quality. I am going to send all my friends here for their needs. They are very nice, but not at all organized. When I went to pickup my alterations at the time they told me, I was told the clothes were at another one of their stores and they needed to go pick them up. Then I came back the next day and they had my clothes, but the credit card machine was broken and they wouldn't accept a check, so they asked me to go to the bank and come back. So it took a total of 3 trips to get my clothes back. It's hard to run a business this way. read more

I am not unhappy with the quality of work. However, when I went to pick up my trousers that I had altered, the lady was not able to find them. There may have been a rack 10' long, and I clearly explained the colors and gave her my name. She looked for about 5 minutes and came back and told me that I had already picked them up. I explained that I had been out of town, and could not have picked them up. So now Im thinking she gave them to someone else. Each pair was about $200, so I could see a mess coming. She had me write down my name, and went back to look, again finding nothing. She asked if I had a receipt, which I never keep, but for some reason, when I went to my car, it was there. Never have had to use a receipt to pick up clothes, but lesson learned on this one. Basically she accused me of already picking them up, which I equated to her telling me I was trying to steal from her. She went back one more time and somewhere, somehow, she located them on the 10' rack. Will not return to this shop, and if you go here, keep your receipt. Or go somewhere you aren't assumed to be a crook. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My family and I have been coming here for years before it turned to TTN Tailor & Alterations and we will never be returning. I dropped off a floor length dress that needed to be taken up an inch and a half and the straps maybe 1/4in. My fault for not asking the price (we have gone here for years with blouses, pants, evening gowns, etc) as it has never been over $50 even for an evening gown. For these small alterations the man wanted to charge me $92 upon pickup. Had I known he would try to rip me off that much, I would have gone elsewhere as those alterations should have been $40-$60 MAX. I explained to him my frustration and confusion as that was astronomically high and he said we would go down $10. At this point his phone rang and he decided that was more important than the customer in front of him so he took the call. After he hung up and I said I wasn't going to pay that much, he finally dropped down to $75, which still is way more than it should have been. I'm disgusted with the lack of customer service, the absolute rip off price and absolutely no apology in the "miscommunication." Safe to say I will never give them anymore business and would advise others to stay away from this blatant money scheme. read more

My homecoming dress was a bit too low in the front, so I came here to get it sewed up some. The seamstress was very helpful and nice and did exactly what I asked for! It was finished in under an hour and was priced very reasonably. Overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend! read more

I used KN Alterations for my wedding dress alterations and I LOVED how my dress turned out. My dress did not have a train but Khanh suggested making a little bit of one out of the material that would have been hemmed anyway. She also made some additional suggestions that I hadn't even thought of but made the dress look stunning. She had my dress ready for the first fitting in less than 2 weeks, and the second fitting in a day! I'm sure the speed of service depends on what changes you're making, but she was always very responsive. Her pricing was extremely reasonable considering the changes made and I couldn't have been happier. Will definitely be coming back to get all my other clothes altered here! read more

This place was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint! I got the straps altered on a jumpsuit and dress and was very happy with the results. But the reason I'm giving K N five stars is because of their outstanding customer service. When I went to pick up my clothes the night before I went out of town, their credit card machine was down. Like your average millennial, I had neither cash nor check on me. The woman at the front desk told me not to worry about it, that she would give me a call to get my credit card information over the phone when the machine was back up and running. Two weeks later, when I made it back in town and never having received a phone call, I returned to K N to pay. Kim was so thankful for my return and gave me a $5 discount for the inconvenience and assured me that they had gotten a whole new credit card machine. I couldn't believe that she was that pleased to see a customer who had gone two weeks without paying with only a phone number as a contact. You can't get that kind of customer service anywhere else! Can I just say-I love this place! I desperately needed a shirt 'adjusted.' It was an XL Ladies fit as issued by my Company for a special event and it looked like a children's small. Needless to say the fit was less than flattering. The event was the next day and I was nervous it could not be done. I started to think about sweaters and jackets to cover the ill-fitting shirt. Considering these options in this Houston heat was overwhelming! I went into KN Alteration which I had visited before and very much appreciated the customer service and timeliness. Not only was the shirt returned to me within a couple of hours it looked terrific. I needed a same day emergency alteration on Memorial Day. No one was open- however, KN answered their phone. Turns out they were not open but the woman just happened to be up there working on a few things. I went right over and less than two hours later, it was ready.
