As a licensed CPA firm in the State of North Carolina and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) & North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA), Lesemann & Associates targets businesses that are in start-up, growth and/or turn-around mode. We provide general and strategic planning, accounting and payroll functions, and tax compliance and planning services. Our technology services range from training and support on a selection of accounting software packages (QuickBooks, Microsoft Small Business Accounting, Peachtree, etc.). With our knowledge and expertise, we will lead or assist you with your system selection and implementation.

J.A. (Jay) Lesemann, Jr. CPA, CGMA, Managing Member of Lesemann & Associates, PLLC, has worked for 25 years with organizations whose annual sales range from $400,000 to $2 billion. He has held the positions of Chief Financial Officer, VP of Finance, and Director of Information Technology with both private and publicly held companies. This includes eight years with ACS DataPlex Corp., four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, L.L.P., and five years with Metals USA (Ticker Symbol - MUSA). Mr. Lesemann is also the 2012-2013 Chairman of the 14,000 member North Carolina Association of CPAs. Meet the Business Owner: J A L.

J. A. (Jay) Lesemann, Jr. CPA CGMA is managing member of Lesemann & Associates, PLLC - Certified Public Accountants in Huntersville, NC. For over 20 years, he has worked with organizations ranging in sales of $500,000 to $2 billion. Mr. Lesemann has held the positions of CFO, VP of Finance, and Director of Information Technology with both private and publicly held companies. He also spent four (4) years with Pricewaterhouse, L.L.P in their Management Consulting Services division. Mr. Lesemann's experience includes master debt financing agreements, IPOs, venture capital funding, mergers and acquisitions, new company start-ups, financial system selection and implementation, e-commerce, project management and turn-around management. Originally from Gallatin TN, he graduated from the Ole Miss with a BAccy degree. He is a member of the AICPA and the NC Assoc of CPAs. In 2011, Mr. Lesemann was elected Chairman of the 14,000+ member NC Association of CPAs for the 2012-2013 fiscal year.
