After my first massage I was shocked. I realized there was pain all over my body for years that I didn't even know I had, because I had simply accepted it due to being there for so long. Because of Fae, the pain completely disappeared and my mobility increased massively. After my second massage with Fae, she managed to open up my lungs, causing my breathing to completely clear up. She definitely has very strong hands people, so those of you who love that will be most happy. She was super receptive to requests and lightened up when I reported any tender areas. I came to her b/c of my pain issues, and was absolutely hurt free when I levitated out of there. She is an intuitive body worker, but obviously very skilled with our anatomical build in that she understands the complex networks and kinesiology of muscle, fascia and connective tissue. My first feeling on entering the office was one of calm serenity. The whole atmosphere in the office was peaceful and soothing, and Tasha's space is a lovely, clean, and soft setting with just the right touch of nature elements that give it a bit of the feeling that you're in a warmer sunnier climate. And I loved the soothing music selection. Tasha's space mirror's her own inner qualities. She has a gentle, patient, and attentive manner that puts you at ease. She is very easy to talk to and yet stays professional and focused on you as the patient. She seems to have it just right in the communication and flow of her work. From finding out what I wanted to focus on at the beginning, to her being responsive to physical or verbal feedback on the massage throughout, and finally to her helpful information in the end. The massage was very detailed and thorough, extending to other parts of my body that are connected to those problem areas. It was also very relaxing, and I learned this time that relaxation is where healing happens, and conversation is limited during the massage for that purpose. One thing that I really appreciate with Tasha is that each time I have seen her, I learn more about my body, the causes for pain, and what will correct it. This time she pointed out my hip posture orientation and recommended stretches and clarified how to sit correctly. At my work the following day I paid attention to my sitting position. Between the massage and me shifting my posture for one day, I noticed a significant reduction in lower back pain. I highly recommend Tasha. Before moving out of state last fall, I saw her for two years and I still pine for her massage to this day. She has had years of experience and uses many therapeutic modalities such as sports massage, cranio-sacral, deep tissue, etc. She applies the correct technique and I have never walked out of there feeling like I was pummeled instead of truly cared for. She also takes the time to teach her clients about what they can do for themselves at home. She was with me throughout my pregnancy and helped resolve many of the normal pregnancy related aches and pains that I had. My baby even knew her voice when we first visited her after he was born!
