I decided to install a nice patio to enjoy the outdoors. I took my time and hired licensed contractors every step of the way (building, concrete, pavers and electric). I relied on them to guide me. I purchased a 12' x 16' building from Amazon Sheds in March 2023. We finally received the building in December 2023 because of permitting. I hired a licensed concrete/paver company (which was a disaster as well - pad and pavers off by 6.5" and uneven), and called Amazon to see if the pavers could be installed prior to the building and they said YES. I had the pavers installed and they destroyed the new pavers along all sides of the pad. The quote to repair the pavers was $800 and Amazon is refusing to pay for the repair. Amazon's response was they are not responsible for any damages and they are not going to pay for the repair. I relied on them to direct me. I don't know how all this stuff works ... that is why I hired licensed companies. Please DO NOT rely on them. The building is nice but they led me down the wrong path on the pavers. I'm incredibly disappointed and would NEVER recommend them for this reason. If you're a contractor and you know how all this stuff works, then MAYBE, but for me, NOT OK. So incredibly disappointed. Recommendations for Amazon: **Pavers should NEVER be installed prior to the building **Put on paperwork exactly what is expected with the footers **Come out and re-measure after the footers are installed to make sure the measurements are accurate to fit the building I trusted you and you let me down. So very sad for the nearly $20,000 I have in this buildout (not the cost of the shed, but for everything). This has been a disaster from the beginning. I took videos during the entire installation (as I do anytime I have something done), so when the install is done, I make a TikTok video and promote the company. I always make videos and reviews when good work is done. Well, that's not going to happen.

They need to ask you if you want it on the cement slab without the floor.

My deposit went from 50% to 75% to cover the materials and I paid it instantly. Ironically only drywall was brought to my home and laid against a wall. Thats it !!!!!! No insulation and no machine to blow it into my attic. After being told lies day after day, missing work and having items stolen from my house by his workers. I never received my deposit back and had to dispute the payment with my bank, the wood his workers used of mine or the tools they stole after he agreed to have my wood redelivered and pay me for the stolen items. I asked him several times to come get his drywall because I could no longer store it in my home and send my money back so I can pay a contractor to fix my home. He never got my wood delivered , never paid for the stolen items and never attempted to give my money back. This company has no morals, integrity, courtesy or compassion!!

Worst experience ever. The short story is we signed and paid the 50% for what we were told was…read moregoing to be a 3-6 month start to finish job and it ended up being finished 27 MONTHS later. Longer story: Our house is 2000 sq feet there are a total of 10 standard windows, 3 small bay windows, and 6 sliding glass panels. Not a huge job. Total cost just over $50K. We signed August 2022 (before Hurricane Ian) and paid the deposit. Hadn't heard from them so 6 months later called to see the status. Turns out with a divorce in the company and turn over we were forgotten about and the windows weren't ordered because no one from Window Geeks contacted our HOA back. So now we were going to be backed up with Hurricane Ian delays. July 2023 windows arrive for install in Sept should take 4-5 days. First they showed up unannounced while we were out of town to install in July but returned in Sept. One installer showed up instead of two. One window was missing. After 1.5 weeks 9 windows installed but they decided they couldn't all of a sudden install the bay windows. One slider had been damaged so wouldn't open so they ordered a replacement. Took a month of back and forth to find out the house bracing was good and bay windows installed Oct 2023. During this time I called to say how unhappy we were and the manager called my wife to yell at her because I complained about him. Took them months to admit they broke the missing window when they first arrived but forgot to reorder it. Finally Feb 2024 the missing window was installed. Nov 2024 the damaged slider was replaced. I spoke with the owner about how outrageous our experience was and he offered a 10% discount. Which by the way was less than our original cost was going to be. When they forgot to order the windows originally standards changed so we had to purchase higher rated/more expensive windows. Also originally we were going to do 0% financing through the company. Nov 2024 that was no longer an option. So his 10% discount didn't even add up to the savings we were going to have. Absolute horrible experience.
