There is street parking all along the park, except for the south side. To the east of it there is a decent size parking lot. All parking is free. AMENITIES: This park has bathrooms and drinking fountains located at the bathroom building. There are also plenty of benches and tables, most aren't covered, but there is a big table by the playground that is shaded. PLAYGROUND: Their is a large playground at this park. The entire playground is enclosed by a fence, which is awesome!! Keep your kids trapped inside haha. There are two gates to get in and has a lock that is difficult for kids to open. The fence definitely helps make you feel more secure that your kid isn't wandering off into the street or to a stranger haha. Obviously you should be watching your kid, but those little ones can be fast. There are two separate play structures. One is aimed at younger kids and the other at older kids. My almost 3 year old likes to play at both. There are also swings next to the smaller kid playground. Two bucket seats and two regular seats. Inside the playground there are a few benches and tables. One larger table is under a cover, great for shade! In the summer I felt that the playground didn't get too hot because there are some big trees surrounding the play structures, so it helped a lot for the slides and parts of the play structure to not get too hot. Outside of the fenced area there is a large grass area with walkways and some tables/benches.

Unique for the history of the Butterfield Railyard and downtown Rogers but it's also next to some a busy street on the other side. A trash truck drove by and crop dusted us with some strong trashy smell. The playground has a bunch of hills and climbing obstacles/tunnels. Benches surround the playground. The park is lined with recycled rubber, so it's soft and didn't get hot under the baking sun. The splash pad beneath the three faux water towers were fun as well. Each water tower has its own personality. On the other end you'll find a retired and renovated train crane around a playground with elevated slides and a lookout tower. Beyond that the Butterfield amphitheatre where I bet they host some concerts and festivals on the weekends and holidays. The City of Rogers made good use of a the historic railroad space. As the trees grow in and up, there will be more shade and I bet when as the fall approaches, more people will come to this park. Clean bathrooms are in the yellow container (railroad track side), along with a working water fountain. Nice park.

We had time to kill before we could checkin, so the first place all my girls ventured towards was the creek. Osage Creek, a brisk walk from our parking spot, had water snakes, fish, and small black crayfish - yet none of this bothered my kids or our dog. It was so dang hot on July 24, 2025 that the kids walked barefoot in the creek and the dog plopped down on her belly for a break. Lol. A walking path, public restrooms, and playground were nearby. Free parking. Trash free. The only thing that caught us off guard was when an unleashed dog rushed over to my leashed canine. The owner was slow to respond yet apologetic. Huge fan.

The park has a fun playground with plenty of slides, swings, climbing toys, and so much more for kids to play on. It isn't really geared for toddlers. I let me toddler play on it, but I'm right there with her to make sure she doesn't fall or take a wrong step. Overall, it is a really fun park. They have a good variety of toys for kids to play on. I'm also a fan of the "see-saw", my friend and I played on it haha. So, kids and adults can have fun here! There is also a basketball court next to it. There are a few picnics tables too. Overall, it is a good park. I'm not a huge fan of the general area. I don't feel unsafe or anything being there, but still not a huge fan. Sometimes it also smells a little bit, I think it is something with the draining between the park and the parking lot. There is a small/medium sized parking lot right next to the playground. (Parked just outside the fence near right field.) Long story short, we are COVERED in Chigger Bites!!!! This was the only place where both of us had gotten out of the truck together at the same place other than home. So it is obvious the parasites came from the park grounds. How absolutely ridiculous that you can have such a beautiful park that is infested with parasites!!!

It is across the street from the Amazeum off of J street. There is a large parking lot for the park. You will have no problem finding parking! Well, unless there is some large happening, in general you should be good. AMENITIES: The park has bathrooms and drinking fountains. There is also a covered picnic table area. Along the pathway of the pond/fountain there are benches as well. PARK: This is a pretty large park. My daughter loves playing by the pond and I have to constantly convince her it is not a good idea to go swimming in the water haha. There is a large field where there are wildflowers. There is a pathway you can walk through it. There are a lot of concrete walkways to walk around the pond/park. The landscape around the park is nicely maintained and generally there are beautiful flowers as well, unless it is winter :( haha. Great park!!
