This store was wide and even longer going back! I happen to stumble upon their customer appreciation, 2023-06-01 to 04. There were balloons and music at the entrance. And here i thought it was a grand opening. They have 15%+ off everything in-store.  Some are even 60% off. If you spend over $100, you get a gift bag. I bought a supplement, which is usually $36.99, where I normally buy it. Their list price was $31.99, and I get 15% off! A no-brainer. Then I found a granola package with an oatmeal cookie crunch at 50% off, so I bought that too! There were lots of staff around, and they were eager to help. I don't know if there would be that many staff if it were not a customer appreciation event. There had everything that any health store would sell, but in a massive store. Then, they also had two long aisles, with food items dispensed like at Bulk Foods. There is free WiFi. They had fish from all over, cavier, and accompanying foods like crackers, olive oils, and more! They had a bunch of free samples when I was there (olive oil with fresh bread, chips, etc.) pricing seemed quite fair and the fish better quality than the grocery store! I purchased a mackerel and some cheap cavier (not the real stuff but they do sell that for $89 if you want it). When I got to the till, the lady on checkout advised they have a complementary fish cleaning service! What a bonus! The platter came beautifully laid out with their extra creamy and thick cream cheese, capers and crisps. Our staff loved these smoked salmon so much! These were possibly the best smoked salmon I've ever tasted, as the smokey flavour was not over-powering and it was not overly salty. I only got to sample the signature and gravlax but I am guessing that pastrami is also equally delicious. It was an added bonus to know that their products are made with no preservatives, artificial additives or colours. I will definitely come back to pick up more platters for future events from this fantastic shop! FYI: Everything must be pre-ordered through their website as there is no shop. Viking carries the Fazer brand crackers we think are the best. In addition they have lots of really fun little treats, like Moomin branded candies and Fazer brand chocolate bars. They also have quite a lot of licorish candies both sweet and salty - if that's your thing. If you like rye crackers you really need to pick up some Fazer Crisp - these are the crackers we cycled 20km to get. They are like a Finn Crisp - but wider and more sturdy and tastier. If you like your cracker pilled high with toppings, then this cracker can really carry a load. Now whenever we have a car for a day or two we make sure to drop in and re-up our cracker supplies. But if we had to bike 20km - it would be worth it.
