Was visiting my boyfriend's parents in Melbourne and looking for things to do with his mom. Found this lovely place. Can't say enough about it! The downtown Melbourne location is just as cool as can be. You walk right in and pick things out. The pots and planters available were adorable. There was a great selection of healthy plants to choose from. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Our family loves make and take and this spot did not disappoint. They have a large variety of pots to choose from in all different price ranges. They have terrariums for both kids.(which are plastic.) and adults. (glass.) and the adults come in three different sizes. After you choose your container., then comes the equally, if not even harder choice of choosing a plant or a succulent. If you're like me, it's hard to keep a plant alive and I asked the helpful woman behind the counter to point out some choices for a person without a green thumb. I had the five-year-old with me and he chose to make a children's terrarium with both a succulent and an air plant. After following directions to pot your plants you choose decorative stone to go on top of the soil. They have a variety of sizes and colors. Then you can accessorize by choosing from among the many little animals and fairies. I could see us coming back many times as there is such a wide assortment of plants and pots. If you're looking for a place to have a birthday party for a kid, that's not the usual Chuck E. Cheese or bowling alley party, this would be a great option. After we paid , she boxed up our selections and provided instructions for proper watering. Fingers crossed I can keep my plant alive for at least a little while. read more

There is such a huge assortment of cool pots and plants, it was so hard to choose! my kids were so excited, I thought they were going to wet their plants. The staff were so helpful every step of the way, and very knowledgeable about the plants as well. The prices are very fair too. I was worried it would be super spendy, but it's actually not. I mean, you definitely could drop a pretty penny here if you don't restrain yourself though. I wish there was something like this near where I live, I would be there all the time (and then I'd be poor cause money doesn't grow on trees...).
