The Flemish stew was amazing. The honey wasn't too hungry so we shared a bowl of it and the portion size was perfect, along with it being one of the most delicious stews we had while in Belgium. The service was helpful and prompt and I can't speak highly enough about our experience. So if you're visiting Bruges, De Gastro is a must-eat stop during your visit.

Extremely tender pork cheek with minimal excess fat, and a lot of it, with a delicious red wine sauce plus much better fries than we'd had earlier on the main square made my night. I'd say that this was the best meal I had in our trip to Belgium, definitely one I'd repeat if we visit Bruges again!
