Eric responded to my email requesting an appointment within one business day. I have a difficult schedule to work around, however Eric was very flexible in accommodating my schedule. I had about 10-15 pieces of art that needed to be placed and hung. Alan showed up on-time, was very professional and hung up artwork in record time. They did a good job hanging the art pieces and were very responsive via email. I am giving a 3 STAR as they arrived about 1-hour later than what was on the appointment details and the final cost was more than the estimate with less art pieces to hang (I originally asked for 4 pieces to hang, but changed it to 3). I think they're pretty pricey for a residential service. The installer had to park outside of the complex and I later found out that "navigating parking" is also part of the cost. Was I happy with how the art pieces were hung? YES. Would I recommend or use their service again? NO. read more

Yelp comes through again. I went with Level One after the reviews here, and am very glad I did. Yesterday, Alan came to my home in P.B. to install two large wooden paddles above my fireplace, which has a double-tall ceiling. It's not the kind of job that I would even attempt on my own for fear of a) damaging the wall, b) damaging the paddles and c) damaging myself. He very quickly (but professionally) sized up the situation, we talked over the options on placement, and together, we found what I think is the ideal spot for the paddles. He then installed them with no issues whatsoever. They look great, and our family's very excited to see them up there. Alan was a delight to work with, and the cost was incredibly reasonable. Eric @ Level One was referred to me by a designer friend. So, while he came recommended and thus somewhat "safe" from a trustworthy standpoint, I was still not sold that I needed a high priced professional to hang my stuff. After living in my new place 6 mos without having hung all my nice artwork, living room and dining room pieces, and my home office pictures, I bit the bullet and hired Eric. Wrote up a nice detailed estimate of rooms and items. Received a competitive bid of 3 hours for a Friday afternoon. Well Eric showed up a day early (with my OK) and finished an hour early. That is not only time efficient but MONEY efficient. He saved me 33% off his estimation, and in the world on contractors, that is RARE. Most will milk you for an estimate once they think you are sold on it. Not Eric, he blasted through the projects, and everything turned out wonderful. My gal came home and loved it all. So happy I called Eric and had him come out, well worth the small investment in his services, and would have likely taken me many more man hours, and thus timevsmoney lost, to get it done myself. A+ and 5 stars, do not hesitate to hire Eric and his team. He also has a big M-Benz sprinter van, if you need pickup and delivery of artwork, should you buy and need to get it to your place. Let me first say that this review is long over due and my first Yelp review! I have had 2-3 excellent experiences in the last 6 months that has prompted me to sign up and give credit where credit is due. I wanted to start with Level One. I have used this company twice in the last 3 months and both experiences exceeded all expectations. The first time I hired Level One was to help me install a 7ft x 5ft 100lb piece of art made out of metal, resin and wood. I set up an appointment to have them come a few hours after the piece was set to arrive from the UK. Allan arrived early after I had called and let him know the piece arrived early and was just sitting outside my townhouse in the carport. FedEx Freight refused to help me get the piece inside and left me on my own to deal with the consequences of this enormous piece of art crated in what was probably a 100lb wood crate. Alan arrived to save the day and said it wouldn't be a problem at all helping me to not only install the piece, but get it safely inside my house. We got to work outside un-crating the work and creating a game plan for getting it upstairs and inside. I am quit sure they would have sent two people to help had they known they actually had to move the piece of art and not just install it. After we began to pick the piece up and move it in, the work started falling out of its frame. Alan realized how serious the situation was with a 5 figure piece of art about to fall out of the frame and on the fly grabbed his drill and screws and literally re-mounted it in the frame, outside. He took extreme care to ensure it was secure and properly put back into the frame. I can not even imagine the outcome had I been trying to move this with friends or "some moving company." We got it inside and installed with out incident after that and he worked to mount it to the wall exactly where I wanted it, but also giving me guidance of where it would look best, relative to the pieces it was sharing a wall with. He also re-hung those pieces so that everything was properly aligned. Alan was extremely professional, and incredibly nice to chat with. He was efficient and did the job perfectly. The number one thing I can say about Allan here is that I felt 100% at ease letting him handle my art. This is coming from someone who will get nervous letting someone even look at their art. It's all high value stuff, that will often be re-sold at any time so it is critical all pieces remain in mint condition. He was so incredibly careful and understood the both intrinsic and extrinsic value of the works. Having felt so comfortable with Allen and the amazing job he did the first time, when it came time for me to move 3 months later I knew right away who I wanted to help with my 20 framed pieces the mammoth 100lb piece and another very awkward wood cut-out type work. Allan and Nick helped out on the first three quarters of the project, while Eric the owner finished the install. Again I just can't say enough good things about all three of them. They are just so careful and detail oriented about their job it's amazing. I felt at complete ease while they were transporting and installing an extremely high value amount of art. Every piece was wrapped and protected for the move and arrived in perfect condition to the new location. They also installed it all, which was a great experience itself. They are true artists when it comes to installation. I gave them a bit of guidance of what pieces I would like in what rooms, but I left it up to them to decide where they went based on size and shape. The end result was phenomenal; everything perfectly straight, on the wall in a place where it fits properly and looks good with the other art in the area. As I mentioned Eric the owner finished the install and it was great to chat with him about art and his business. Eric truly cares about the service he offers, which is clearly reflected by Allan and Nick's execution and work ethic. If you didn't know Eric was the owner, one would think either Allan or Nick were the owner, as they take complete ownership over the project and want to make sure the end result is a good as possible. If you are looking for someone to handle your art in any manner; install, transport, getting it ready for storage, Level One are the people to call. You will not be disappointed by the service or results. The price is incredibly reasonable for the service they are offering as well. You spend all that money on the art and framing, spend a bit more and get it installed properly. Eric, Allan and Nick are not just art installers, they are piece of mind providers. I have been using Level One regularly for picture hanging and art installation since 2005. They have done multiple full home and office installs, and a lot of random one-off work. Coincidentally, they also installed all the common area art in my condominium building. They are on time every time, always do very solid work and are a pleasure to deal with. I have sometimes been impressed by some more difficult and create installs that they've done for me - installing on mirror or paneled wood services for example. But I learned after following them on instagram that all of my stuff was child's play. These guys do MAJOR art installs all around the world - museums, hotels, large hanging sculptures and all sorts of heavy wall installations, some involving cranes! These guys are both artists and magicians! Eric, the owner, is usually who does my jobs and he's awesome as is his crew and office staff. Writing another update, the company I worked for moved offices and I called Level One to come re-hang all the artwork. Keep in mind we have everything from small 8x10's all the way to a very large piece of artwork, a wooden flag that takes up almost one entire wall! The job they were working on prior to mine ran over but they kept me up to date and got to the office in time for me to show him where everything needed to be before I had to leave for my appointment. We have now had Level One come to our home three times to install artwork for us. The last occasion was on 1/21/19. Eric and Bobby installed approximately 50 art pieces for us. The pieces included framed tile pieces, paintings, masks and a large framed carpet. They had to use long extension ladders to install some of the pieces. Both Eric and Bobby were very precise in their measurements and placement of each piece. They are only satisfied with perfection. Although we had pre-determined where each piece was to be installed, we welcomed their input on how the pieces should be displayed. Their recommendations greatly enhanced the visual appeal of the pieces. We have been enjoying our artwork and appreciate the outstanding service we received. We highly recommend Level One.
