First of all, TableTop has an excellent selection of games and other related materials. I've never seen so many Settlers of Catan or Ticket to Ride expansions, but if you need them, they're available! They also just have so many games that I would have never seen before, so I always make sure to have a while to look around to find new things. Second--everyone who works there is SO GREAT and very, very knowledgeable. I can't tell you how much more exciting this makes the experience because they are willing to spend time and give options based on what you're looking for. During my last visit, I got to share some of the games I really liked, and we vowed to come back and share about our experiences next time! Love this place. They have plenty of seating to fit all of us, and they offer alot of high top tables as well for people playing Warhammer. Its always busy in here, they have pretty good pricing on snacks and drinks, and they always have the latest drops usually for new sets as well. The guys that work here are also super chill, we come in enough that they know us somewhat. Always super nice, and help out with anything we might need. If we are there super late, sometimes they lock us in on the table side of the store and just have us use the back door when we leave so it doesn't interrupt our game we are wrapping up. 10/10 one of our favorite card shops in KCMO to come and play at.

Thought I would buy some more stuff, and the owner was going to check me out and I asked to apply my $50 credit, he said I did not have a $50 credit, and that I only had like 200 something points, I explained what the guy told me there is no way he can look at it, I brought up my credit card statement and showed him the $374.00 purchase to his store a week before and I should have at least that many points, he said there is nothing that he could do. So the employee must have not added it like he said he was going to do, or he stole my points for himself, which I'm sure he could easily get away with it, and if he's getting $50 a pop that could be a very lucrative scam. This made it easy to negotiate for such a key book within a couple of hundred dollars. As a result, I'm grateful for the work they do to make comic buying a great experience for all of us who love books. So far, after visiting all the stores from downtown KC to all the stores in Kansas, Nerdstalgia is, IMHO, the best shop in the Kansas City Metro.
