I should of ran, but I am currently not proud to admit I am desperate for the money. We settled at 52%, and they claimed all these reasons why they couldn't give me 70%, such as condition, shipping, labor etc. Long story short I'm writing this review because they took my ETBS and listed them ABOVE market, when they claimed they couldn't offer me 70% because of "condition," and they would have to list them BELOW market, they are scammers. I knew I should have ran, but again, I needed the money and didn't think. Go anywhere else you can in KC that's collector friendly.

They had a $1 cart outside when approaching the store and I perused the books and purchased one of those and also a used fiction book. My husband also bought a used Tai Chi book that he found. They had a selection of new books displayed on the wall and some seating to look through the books. Then there were two shelves pushed back to back with used books. They had non-fiction, fiction, self help, health, philosophy, religion, autobiographical books, travel type, and political type books. They had some t-shirts/stickers in the window area and some collector books in a back corner with a small book case I'd used youth books. Their prices on the uses ranged from $2, $4, $6. There were some that were not priced in the inner cover. I love bookstores and especially with used books because I won't buy a new book since I am patient and can wait until I can find it used and cheaper. Prices are much higher on Friday & Saturday, but we didn't mind since we knew we could play free games after. Unlike Sunday -Thursday where paid games are $10/person for the whole day, it's $15 every 30 min for games. It wasn't super busy when we were playing, but it said during peak hours they could limit you to one hour. We played an hour of darts and then moved on to beer pong and skeeball. This time around the patio was open and I saw there were a few new free games out there as well. It's definitely a better deal to come Sunday-Thursday if your plan is to play the paid games, but it's still a fun place to hang out and drink regardless of the day.
