Unfortunately this is becoming so common, the service industry needs to understand that we (us customers), pretty much pay their bills. When we get bad service, we tip accordingly. Saves money for us, but defeats the purpose. Our server was well I'm going to just say.....new? Bad day? Don't care? Let's go back to summer of 2023 I was highly impressed at our experience. I can still remember how much we loved our server. She was newer but GREAT. (I can't remember her name). I didn't see her nor could I get anyone to answer my question about her. They just seem to not care. They stated "with as many people coming and going here, it could be anyone". I didn't find that appealing. I do recall she had been bartending for years before. I just wish I would've posted a review about her then. I hope she is still there cuz this place might have a chance to stay in business with her and the service she gives.

She led us to a covered table on the patio and told us that she would be back with a few things. When Margie came back, she had wine glasses, a water carafe, a pack of crackers and some water glasses. What a cute little set up on the patio we had! As we tried each wine on the tasting list, Margie explained to us all about it and then her personal reasons for enjoying that varietal. I think it made the tasting that much more special! Our tasting lasted a little bit over an hour, Margie always knowing the perfect time to give us our next wine pour! We throughly enjoyed our time at Gordon Estate Tasting Room and will definitely be back!!
