We were assigned Reena and Roderick as our main photographer and videographer, and Ben and Tuck as the secondary photographer and videographer. They gave such clear direction to ensure the photos came out the way we wanted. All 4 of them were respectful, professional and very accommodating. We had an extensive list of photo combinations we wanted with the bridal party, our parents, wedding sponsors, and extended family and the Dean Michaels team managed to capture every single moment. I'd ask Reena last minute if we could take pictures at different locations and she would be so accommodating and the photos came out perfect. We are so glad we went with Dean Michaels. It's always tough picking through hundreds of wedding photo companies but my wife and I really liked the style of Dean Michaels which provided a good mix of dramatic and traditional photos without being too over the top. We highly recommend Dean Michaels if you're undecided who to go with for your wedding or any other events!

He gave us just the right amount of direction while still allowing us to be ourselves, making the entire session feel fun and natural. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful, romantic, timeless, and exactly the style we were hoping for. Matt captured so many genuine moments, and we were blown away by the quality of the images. We also received our edited gallery much sooner than expected, which was such a wonderful surprise. Overall, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We're so thankful to Dean Michaels Studio for giving us engagement photos that we'll cherish forever, and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for a talented, professional, and enjoyable photography experience! Thank you, Matt, for making our engagement session so memorable!

IF YOU FIND ANYWHERE ELSE. DO IT!!…read more I recently went to Picture People for my first time to get pictures taken for my 6 month old baby. Photographer asked if baby could sit on her own and I said not really. We tried anyway.. after one photo, baby fell back and hit her head so now she was upset for a few minutes, took about 3-5 mins for her to feel better. I take full responsibility for her falling because I wasn't close enough to catch her, but once she fell photographer sighed and I felt rushed to hurry up and get the next picture in. I understand she has other photo shoots to do, but for the amount of money we paid. You'd think she'd give us a few minutes for my baby to get into a better mood and for her eyes to get less puffy. You could tell she was just there to make her quick money and that's it, didn't care if baby was alright. When we were reviewing photos, the exposure was crazy bright or too dark. Definitely not worth it! I highly suggest getting pictures taken by a local photographer or a more professional spot. Don't waste your money here.

They had minimal props, for example a small Christmas tree with around 5 Xmas balls on it. We were pleased with the sibling photos. Decided to have Christmas cards made. Big mistake! Had to go back and have them reprinted and because they were busy with clients I waited a long time. Ended up having them mailed to my house on their dime. We have since used this company at their Paramus Park location and have had really good experiences there. I don't recommend coming to this location.

I made the down payment approx $1,700. I signed a contract (e-signed) and I was told the contract would be available to view in my client portal (it never was) We then scheduled the engagement shoot and met the photographer at a local park. After the shoot he informed us it would be a few weeks for the pictures to come back. Two weeks later I heard nothing from the company and I reached out. I was told it usually takes 3 weeks. The third week rolled by and I heard nothing so I reached out again. The woman who coordinated everything told me our photos were next in line and to be edited. Another week went by and I heard nothing from the company. I reached out again and the woman apologized repeatedly stating that she had been texting our photographer all week about the issue and he had not been responding. She explained then that she reached out to Brian (the owner) who was shooting a wedding at the time. She explained he was very disappointed that this happened and he was going to edit the photos himself for us the following day and that he was going to "take care of us" by maybe discounting our wedding or tossing in a free service. I want to state our issue was not with the amount of time it was taking to get the photos back, as we know it is a busy season for the company. Our issue is that the company went silent after the shoot and gave no updates whatsoever. If they had said it will take 2 months that is ok, but at least let the paying clients know they haven't been forgotten. My fiancé was very angry with this however I decided to give them another chance. I even inquired about doing another engagement shoot for my sister and I because she is engaged as well. We received the photos the next day. They were nice. Brian emailed me and asked if everything was ok and I said yes because I thought he was going to discount for us like the coordinator stated he would. That never happened. Still willing to give them a chance and then one night on the knot I noticed the other profiles for the company. I saw 2 negative reviews under one profile I hadn't seen prior. Again, negative reviews are not upsetting as no company is 100% perfect. It was the way Brian and his company responded to the reviews that made me completely horrified of trusting these people at my wedding. In one of the responses to the negative review Brian named the husband and wife by their first and last names completely exposing their identities. He also stated in his response some embarrassing moments for the couple on their big day for the public to see. I was horrified a business owner could respond in such a cruel manner. Despite if the review was accurate or not there's a way to handle it. I asked to cancel my booking and they denied a refund. Brian stated the money had already been distributed to the photographers to hold the date. It's a year in advance they have plenty of time to rebook the date. My mother ran into Brian at a wedding expo and she made a comment to him about denying a refund of $1700 that is now drained from my already limited wedding fund. She also mentioned the review responses and he said he's a person that is "eye for an eye" and too bad because I already signed the contract. As a business owner he can refund the money but won't because it's all about money for him. He does not care about people at all. Do you want someone at your wedding with the mindset of "eye for an eye" to justify publicly humiliating clients? Needless to say as much as he stood by what he had done I later went back to those reviews and he has now edified the original responses! How is he going to say he's done nothing wrong but then cover the tracks? I know I won't be seeing my money back but I want to advise you all there are so many wonderful photographers out there, do not settle for anything less!

I first found Brian through a search on The Knot and decided to go check out his beautiful showroom in Clifton. From the moment you walk inside you know you're going to be dealing with people who have a keen attention to detail and a flare for style. Once we started talking to Brian, we were instantly at ease because of his willingness to listen to our questions and his desire to accommodate our needs. Every meeting and subsequent emails that followed thereafter were always incredibly productive and even fun, since Brian is very honest and funny. Because of my style preference (documentary/candid), he recommended Yan for our actual day, and I could not be happier with the choice. Yan showed up to the hotel early and and did everything he could to get us all the shots we wanted and some really interesting shots we didn't know we wanted. He was not above almost laying on the floor to get the shot, and that kind of dedication did not go unnoticed. He was very present but not intrusive, and it got to the point where I did not even notice he was around, although I still knew he was there. He stayed a little bit later to make sure we got our perfect night picture outside the beautiful hotel, and did not rest for one second. I cannot say enough good things about how personable and professional he was, and how happy we are with Brian and the whole gang and Brian Delia photography. I may have to find another occasion for pictures just to work with them again! Thank you to everyone there for making our day so amazing.

Initial meeting - After calling a company who must have had Calvin Harris djing for him with his rates We found Ernest and realized his rates were right in our budget! both my fiance and I live in Virginia but we got married in New Jersey. So we didn't have a lot of free time to set up meetings. Ernest scheduled on the exact day we were going to be in town and was a pleasure to have lunch with. Immediately we knew we wanted to use him. Songs and song choices- my fiance and I delayed getting this to them until about a week before the wedding. To make it even worse we sent them about 10 songs and the wedding party / first dance songs.. Never once did he get upset, check in on us, or say he couldn't do anything. It was all met with a "great or no problem" in fact he even took my call on a random Tuesday night because we had no idea how to do the scheduling. He helped with all of that!!!! Wedding- well let's just say that everyone danced their booties off!!! With a very diverse family including kids he managed to work in poppy songs for the kids, 60's & 70's songs for the adults, dance/ rap for us and our friends.. We got compliments on how great of a job they did. Keep in mind that 10 song list I sent was done so he knew what type of music we wanted to listen to. At 10 songs it's hard to fill 3 hours of dancing and Ernest picked songs that blended perfect and everyone enjoyed. If you've made it this far reading, thank you! But you should be calling electrified dj to get them at your next event not reading anything else from me... Thank you for making our day so perfect!!
