He communicated effectively with us throughout, came when he promised and did a tremendous job. House looks super clean, deck was washed 2x to really clean it up (Ipe wood is very hard), stone walls and brick patio look better than they have in a decade! All traces of moss & lichens are gone. Screened porch was washed inside to really clean it up and it looks white again, like new. They left my property in good shape, all cleaned up and even washed down my old grill and a few other outside items that weren't in the job but were looking pretty seedy and now they look marvelous! I was surprised to see that the ratings were much lower on yelp. I proceeded anyways because I was already on the phone as I was reading the reviews here. They got Mike, the owner next day to provide a quote. There was some slight mis communication with the timing but regardless he inspected my roof for about 10-15 minutes and emailed me over the quote at night. Overall the price quoted was reasonable, I did not move forward with O'lyn Roofing but I did appreciate them making the quote process easy and painless. I have gotten quotes from 2 other companies and they would make me sit through 60-90min presentation before just giving me a number. In one case I cut them off at 30min and they left without giving me a quote, instead insisted to reschedule another 30min to talk. No one have time for all that! Mike seems like a decent guy, straight to the point based on my short interactions with him and the quote process. Although I did not move forward with them for this particular project, I will keep them in mind if anything changes or if any other projects come up down the line.
