AVOID AVOID this firm at all costs. Had a 10-minue in-person initial consultation in October with Andrew Brint, CPA where we quickly reviewed my files to determine if him/his firm would be able to handle what I was looking for and he said yes but required I speak with his tax attorney. After months of silence and pulling teeth to get a response from both of them, I decided to proceed with a different accountant/firm and requested my personal files that I had left with them be returned to me so I could have my taxes done elsewhere. I called their firm on a Friday to request that my personal files be placed at the front desk for pick-up and the front desk employee told me no problem, just call when I'm on my way to pick them up. The following Tuesday, I called to inform them I was on my way to pick-up my files, I was then informed that I would need to pay a $150 bill for the accountant's time. I told them I did not have $150 at that time and they could send me a bill. They refused to return my files until the bill was satisfied and tried to have me sign a hand written contract on a piece of printer paper which I declined to do, at no previous time did I ever sign a contract or any type of agreement either. I informed them their website states consultations are free. There was much back-and-fourth, multiple periods of waiting 30+ min in the waiting room for Andrew to "finish his conference calls" and Andrew abruptly walking away from me mid-conversation when other clients walked into the waiting room. Ultimately they returned my files and emailed me a $150 bill for "document review and consultation" despite stating this is free on their website. They threatened me by saying they were going to put my bill into collections ASAP. AVOID AVOID this firm at all costs.
