He used to come to the center but it became more convenient to have individuals meet him at his office. If someone calls we have them call his office and indicate they are from Comstock and in need of the 15 minute consultation. I have had many very positive reports of individuals who have used him for divorces, bankruptcy, wills, trusts or real estate issues. Mary G.

Now, as the response to my original review states: "This bizarre and slanderous story never happened" There would need to be a requirement that the claim be false. The bill showing the charge would show otherwise, that I was in fact a customer of Tibble Law Office. Granted, I did use colorful language to describe the situation, but this is an opinion site and I was stating my opinion. To address the second portion of the response to my original review: "There are a number of misconceptions about traffic cases that this article perpetuates 1. Attorneys do not negotiate with a judge, only the prosecutor 2. In Michigan you can never negotiate the number of points a violation carries. They are automatically assigned after conviction. Prosecutors cannot impact a matter that is only a State function. The way to reduce points is to have the case dismissed or amended to a different charge. 3. Traffic cases are prosecuted differently in each jurisdiction. Students at WMU often deal with a less flexible system than in nearby districts. Having a knowledgable attorney can give the best information and approach to increase your odds of success. " I am NOT a lawyer and I never claimed to be. In the process of stating my OPINION, I am sure that I may have gotten the technical terms in statement "1." mixed up. How many times have you gone to the doctor to describe your ischemic bi-lateral pulmonary infarcation concerns based on a contra-indicated series of prescriptions causing tachycardia? That's right: you don't. You complain of chest pains, because you are a layperson, just like me. To address "2.": I'm sure this may be the law, yet, I was told otherwise by Mr. Tibble at the time of the "defense". 3. I'm sure all traffic courts are pretty inflexible, but your best bet is probably to show up at court to fight the ticket by yourself and if the officer does not show up, you may have the case dismissed. No lawyer required. Like I said before this is an OPINION site and I'm merely expressing my opinion. I'm sure even this response can have the "magic" of the law waved over it to make it appear that I'm some random anonymous Internet person faking all of this, but you should ask yourself these two questions: 1. Why would I go through all of this trouble digging up credit card statements to prove I was a customer? 2. If you were considering using this law office, would you risk being not even acknowledged as a customer?

I needed a good attorney to file bankruptcy for the first time and only time in my life. I was very…read morenervous and I had no idea what I was getting into. I met with attorney Bear and he assured me I could file a chapter 7 with no problems and its simple and easy. I felt excited to finally have a lawyer to help me with this issue.I didn't know it would turn into a even worse situation for me. I was told to get a list of paperwork that he would need and I did everything for him. I was told to give $1250 dollars he said around 350 for a filing fee 900 for attorney fee. I Paid upfront right away. I worked to get all the paper work necessary to file my case and I would email and try to call attorney Bear multiple times without a reply, even after I turned in all my paper work. I had to call him and continue to bother him to ask about any updates and if I had all the necessary paperwork. Weeks later I finally got to meet with Attorney Bear he pulled me into his meeting room and told me I will be filing a chapter 13 instead of a 7 and that he would need an additional 2250 dollars to file it. My stomach turned and I was so lost and confused. I told attorney Bear I need to think about it and I left. I called 3 other attorneys and met with one, who told me I have a strong chapter 7. The next day I went back to Attorney Bear to get my money back. They said I couldn't have the check until I signed paperwork stating that I will pay 900 of my money for time spent on my paper work. I didn't sign it in the beginning or at this time and I wasn't going to. Attorney Bear came into the lobby and continued to try to get me to sign the paperwork I wouldn't and I asked him " Did you contact me once while working on my case? Did you inform me of it being a chapter 13 at all?" his answer was "no'. I cant speak for any of the other lawyers but I got taken advantage of by Attorney Bear. He never gave me my 900 back. I never sighed any paperwork stating I would pay for the fees. I would of never continued with him working on my case if he would of communicated with me that I couldn't file a chapter 7. He is a criminal and a scam artist. DO NOT WORK WITH HIM. I also received paper work on his other clients with personal information on it. very unprofessional. I went with another attorney and filed a chapter 7 within a week and I've been discharged already.
