I had to cease care here because I became too exhausted by the rudeness of the office manager. For instance, when I had just arrived as a new patient and she was explaining that they screen everyone for sleep apnea, she gleefully informed me that she "was already seeing some signs!" that I had it. Telling someone you just met moments ago that they look like they have sleep apnea is objectively rude. (I do not have sleep apnea. I had simply been up late crying the night before!) Another example: she kept harassing me about the fact that I requested Covid precautions for my appointments. She repeatedly pressured me in a very loud and condescending, almost teasing, tone of voice to give some sort of health reason for these requests (even though I had filled out their in-depth health history form). I was simply too exhausted by this bullying to return for my next appointment. No patient--of any health status/background--should have to defend why they do not want to catch Covid or other airborne viruses at the dentist. Please, kindly, consider toning down the attitude toward patients. They are just trying to get their dental care in peace. The dental care and the rest of the staff were all great!

Excellent staff. Drs. Sanae Berrada and Sandra Glickman are as good as it gets. If I could give this practice a 6th star, I would do it. Crown popped out yesterday. I had an appointment for the next day to cement it back. Area around the crown was decaying. Ex-rays showed infection. I needed a root canal and a new crown. Dr. Gickman was able to do it immediately. AND AND AND the new crown was installed on the same visit. Amazing new technology!! Dr. Glickman let me watch her create the crown on the computer screen. It is done IN HOUSE. In one day I had a root canal, and a new crown cemented in. Now, I really never expected this to all occur in one day, and it might not happen to you, but even if you schedule an appointment for a root canal, there is no more impressions and no more waiting for two weeks for your crown. I used TDE for three years now. I highly recommend you try them out if you are in need of a new dentist.

I had been going to this location for my dental cleanings since before it was taken over by Brian Van Slotten. I stayed with the practice after it changed hands, and kept my regular dental care with him. He seemed caring and I thought put the patient's best interest at the forefront. I was mistaken. I have a family history of breast cancer, and I prefer not to be exposed to radiation, of any level, unnecessarily. I had my usual cleaning and was told that, "I am due for X-rays" since it had been 1 year since my last one. I do not have any dental issues, no cavities, and felt that if it wasn't necessary, can we skip them. The dental hygienist, went to Brian Van Slotten, and told him this. Brian Van Slotten, then came over to the area I was having my teeth cleaned and told me that he would let this time be an exception, but I had to have it done at my next 6 month cleaning, or he wouldn't see me as a patient anymore. I said ok, sitting reclined in the chair, and wanting to finish my cleaning. Fast forward 6 months later, I came in for my usual cleaning. I was told I had to get X-rays. I told the hygienist that the American Dental Association recommends X-rays every 2-3 years, as needed. He verified that I had no health issues that required an X-ray, and told me that he wouldn't clean my teeth if I didn't get an Xray because Brian Van Slotten required it. At that moment, I realized, they are not looking out for my best interest, but to be able to bill my insurance the maximum it can for each visit. There have been other issues with the practice that I let slide, but this one hit home because they were willing to make a policy about X-rays supersede a patient's radiation exposure risk with a family history of cancer.
