The fellows are most friendly and are great to talk with. Not very receptive on the bartering. They do seem to really know their stuff. There is a very respectable display of firearms. If that's your thing, maybe come check that out. Biggest issue I had was their "Highest Prices Paid" sign out front. Sorry guys but you aren't even close. I realize that in marketing, slogans, jingles and catchy phrases are a great selling point. But there's also truth in advertising and word of mouth. For example, dealing in Silver or Gold coin and your offering around $10 an ounce, that's a complete insult. The fact that you don't dicker is even more disappointing. I went in to get the authenticity of a chain and medallion I was gifted for helping a stranded motorist. I didn't think it was real but before I gave it away to someone who were more likely to wear jewelry I wanted to make sure. I step into the pawnshop and unraveled the pieces when the light bright guy immediately yelled "It's FAKE" where you get it?" I told him it was given to me. He condensing said " Ain't nobody gonna give you REALgold..you know how much gold cost today"? To say I was offended was an understatement. His coworker could sense my offense and proceeded to explain why the piece was not authentic. Now, if "Light Bright" owns the pawnshop I can understand (not agree with) his arrogance but if he's just a clock in employee he should know that my 10 year military service, 15 years as a police officer, and the last 20 years managing a franchise car dealership should let him know that I AM NOT DUMB. I simply seeked the advice from a professional in the field I am not familiar in. I'm confident I will never need to buy or sell anything to a pawnshop but maybe he should be reminded how to treat those who need those services a little more compassionately. Chris the "manager" just sits at a TV playing video games online and yelling curse words at the screen. Like a teenager but it's a grown man. Doesn't work. Doesn't help customers. Berates customers. I asked about a 20% discount on an item and the guy starts berating me. Tried to sell me an item hundreds more when online sold listings showed $100 sold for the item. I never mentioned sold listings of $100 to him. Acts like a jerk. I remained calm the whole time and said I was just asking as it's a lot of money for me. I didn't buy that one. Said I had another item I was curious about and starts passive aggressive insults with "let's see what else you wanna low ball on." Guy is a lazy jerk. Multiple people talked about the jerk and discrimination. Really in todays age? If you do pawn something they'll likely dump it online. Come here if you want to be treated like trash. Don't go here. This is the WORST location I have ever been to. HORRIBLE customer service, and they discriminate against potential customers. I have never been treated so poorly and rude in my entire life, ESPECIALLY by a business that I would have attributed my business to!!! I will never recommend this location to anyone!! How I was treated frustrates me to the point of wanting to stand outside their doors and tell every person wanting to give their money and business to, to NOT waste their time or give their money to employees that do not respect their customers or put them first! I am baffled by the amount of disrespect I received today!!!! Bout a Yamaha Motif keyboard a couple days ago and it was a little banged up but for the price I thought it was a steal. I tested it out quickly in the store as they didn't have anything other than headphones to hook it up. Seems to be working fine so I take the chance. I get it hooked up and try to place it for about 10 mins and realize the keyboard freezes and doesn't work anymore after a few minutes. I understand all sales are final when things are working fine but in this case I feel like I've been taken advantage of and the attitude of the employees when I brought it back to discuss what I can do to fix the situation was horrible and it took everything in me not to tear the whole place up! DON'T BUY OR SELL TO THIS PLACE! They are running a scam business and they don't really care once you've spent your money. I should throw this crap through their window...after the charges are reverse from my business CC of course. Worst pawn shop ever! PS The guy who sold me the keyboard was as quiet as a mouse when I brought it back in and told them. They wouldn't let me hook it back up to show them what was happening. read more
