They really recognize quality craftsmanship. While the older male downtown isn't the greatest with customer service, I don't mind that he's blunt because he knows what he's talking about. Jake, at the East side location, is who I prefer to deal with. The team there is knowledgeable and friendly. They can be a little rough around the edges (especially when they're busy) but I'm not exactly walking into FAO Schwartz, so I have reasonable expectations - that are always exceded.

The first time I set foot in Luigi's was soon after my first decent mountain bike had been stolen and I was doing some of my own investigative work. The second time was when I wanted a laptop for super cheap. The first experience did not end well (never did figure out what happened to that bike) but I have to say the second experience ended quite well. In fact, I am using the laptop right now to type this review - thanks Luigi's! In case you are wondering it is a decent Toshiba laptop (by no means the top of the line but well appointed and about 2 years old by now) that I bought a year and a half ago for around $350.
