I had no experience using a lawyer and had no idea how to choose one. So I looked at reviews. Mark had a high rating, and people spoke well of him. I called and talked to several firms to learn about how they worked, what their rates were, and how payments would be structured. I found Mark to be very reasonable financially, and liked how he structured his billing systems. But what sold me was my initial conversation with Mark. He seemed genuinely concerned for me and my situation, and gave me more information and advice ( for free, by the way) during that initial conversation than any other firm. Mark knows the law well. It is difficult to explain just how much he did for me without disclosing too much about my case, but I lost track of how many things I was unaware of, that he not only brought to my attention, but took care of for my benefit. He got some charges dropped, some reduced, he contested things from my past and got them removed from my record. He made me aware of everything I needed to do, told me how to do it, and and made sure it was done. He contacted agencies on my behalf, drafted letters and knew the right people to call when my attempts went unheeded. Ultimately, I feel like Mark genuinely cared about me, and what happened to me. And I get the feeling he does the same for all of his clients. He is a good man, and I will actually miss meeting with him, we got along very well. While I hope I never require Marks services again, if I ever find myself in trouble, he IS my lawyer.

However, I am eligible to get off of paper for that case 50% early granted I follow all probation recommendations and pay my fines, meaning I can be done with my probation in 18 months vs 36 months!
