My dad requested that we use them before he passed, and it was a great decision. They were just very kind and patient in all the things we needed at a very sensitive time, and always responsive. Everyone we worked with there was so kind and compassionate. We had to make a lot of choices and our attendant was very patient as well as knowledgeable, and gave us plenty of time to discuss alone & decide. They offered high-quality beautiful programs that allowed customization and multiple photos. I really appreciated that they lent us professional grade photo boards to use for the visitation & funeral. The casket we selected was mid-grade, and in person looked high-quality, with a lovely color and finish. They even assisted me in having my Dad's dress shirt picked up and delivered back after cleaning. The room for the visitation was spacious and well laid out for mingling and conversation. They encouraged us to bring personal items of my Dad's to put around the room, and that really made things feel special for him. There was a TV in the back that played off a jump drive, and it made the viewing experience memorable. They were also so helpful and accommodating in trying to assist me in getting the slideshow to run how I wanted. Many people sat and watched the photos, and it was a perfect way to honor my Dad's memory. There was a private space available for immediate family to decompress and have a little refreshment near the visitation room, and it was so convenient and appreciated. They were truly compassionate professionals at the church funeral service & burial, as well. Casket transportation and the funeral procession was orderly and professional. They gently guided us through, and we never felt rushed. Thank you, MacDonald's / Watkins Bros. You helped a difficult experience be very meaningful and beautiful.

Loads of hand sanitizer and notes reminding everyone not to shake hands and to stay socially distanced were placed through out the building. I appreciated the intimate layout of the facility. My family felt close although we were a apart due to Covid.

The Funeral Home itself is quite impressive. It was bright and airy. Seating was arranged to encourage conversation. Side tables were arranged near the seating to display photos. They have a wall to display photos on boards that they provide. As well as a television for slideshows. The overall feeling was homey, which is exactly what we were looking for. The pastor that they recommended was phenomenal. He did a fantastic job helping the mourners to find peace. Our loved one looked amazing, as though the battle she lost had not taken its toll. The process of finding a funeral director felt extremely overwhelming. I feel very fortunate that we found Tom after visiting a couple of the major funeral homes in our area. The necessary conversations for funeral arrangements after a beloved family member has passed can feel like an uncomfortable and daunting experience as you're navigating through the steps in a state of disbelief and sorrow. I can't imagine that it's anything anyone WANTS to do. Tom was wonderful to work with. He truly took time and care during the conversations that my dad and I had with him as we were working through my mom's arrangements. Not once did we feel rushed or just like another number. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would…read more When my beloved mother passed away on March 15, I was already in deep grief--but what made things even harder was dealing with unexpected complications surrounding her prepaid funeral arrangements. She had thoughtfully paid for everything 32 years in advance, intending to spare us any burden. Unfortunately, after the original funeral home owner retired and transferred her contract to another funeral home, I encountered a very distressing situation with them that was dismissive, rude, and suddenly demanding additional money despite previously telling me everything was fully covered. I was shocked, overwhelmed, and honestly heartbroken all over again. That's when I found Mr. Patrick Lynch and Lynch & Sons Funeral Home--and everything changed. I called after hours on Friday and left a message, not expecting to hear back until Monday. To my surprise, Patrick Lynch called me back within 10 minutes. He spent 45 minutes on the phone with me, patiently explaining everything, going over the other funeral home's statement line by line, and helping me understand what was actually going on. He was calm, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. More importantly, he genuinely cared. For the first time since my mom passed, I felt a sense of peace and relief. I immediately knew I wanted to move my mother into their care. The next morning at exactly 10 AM, just as promised, his son Paddy Lynch called me. From that point on, everything was seamless. Paddy was kind, attentive, and so easy to work with. He handled every detail with grace and professionalism, making a very difficult process feel manageable. They helped me create a funeral that was truly beautiful and elegant--far beyond anything I could have hoped for. Even though my mother was not embalmed and went directly to the church, everything was handled flawlessly. One of the most special touches was the Juilliard-trained violinist, Sonia they arranged, which made the service incredibly moving and unforgettable. The entire experience was handled with such sensitivity, dignity, and care. In a time of deep grief and despair, Patrick and Paddy Lynch were not just helpful-- they were a source of light, compassion, comfort, strength and steady support. They treated me like family, not just a client. My mother's funeral was absolutely perfect--graceful, meaningful, and filled with love. I will be forever grateful to them for guiding me through one of the hardest moments of my life. I cannot recommend Lynch & Sons Funeral Home highly enough.
