Based on my description and photos, Larry…read more-- their senior technician -- diagnosed it as a door issue, not a lock issue, before coming out. He quoted $450 service fee plus parts, labor, and a 10% credit card processing fee. Steep -- and while the 10% credit card processing fee is well above the industry standard of ~3%, it was disclosed upfront. I needed my door fixed and agreed to the terms. Larry came out, disassembled the handle, determined it was the interior multipoint locking system, and told me to contact Pella. Nothing was fixed, no parts were used. I was then handed a bill for $713 -- the $450 service fee, an additional $150 in labor, the 10% processing fee, and tax. When I called to request a refund of the $150 -- the one charge I hadn't agreed to -- Larry called back and refused, explaining he had intentionally limited his work to avoid risking further damage. I understand and respect that reasoning. What I don't understand is being charged $150 in labor for disassembling a handle, determining the job was beyond the scope of the visit, and leaving the door unfixed. My door is still broken. Proceed with caution. Update 5/22 After I posted my review, Larry Schwalb called attempting to intimidate me into removing my review. After I ended the call telling him I didn't want to argue, he told me "you don't get the last word on this" and after I hung up he tried to call me again. Later, the "manager" posted the response below asking that I call the company to discuss the matter. Uncomfortable making the call myself after Larry's abusive conduct, I had my lawyer call hoping to seek an equitable resolution. Once she explained why she was calling, however, rather than putting her through to a manager she was routed to Larry. And, yet again, Larry -- aggressively -- insisted he was in the right, forcing my lawyer to end the call. Be aware.

The equipment feels very basic--bottom-tier at best--yet it's sold at inflated, premium prices. Customer service has also been a major issue. Communication is poor, and when concerns are raised, they tend to be dismissive rather than helpful or solution-oriented. Most importantly, I do not feel safe having them as the monitoring company for my home. That is the entire purpose of a security service, and unfortunately, they have not given me the confidence or peace of mind I expected. Based on my experience, I would not recommend JM Resources to others.

We used this company to install four cameras at the entrance to our community. Our original request…read morespecified that we wanted to be able to view/read the license plate details on vehicles entering/exiting the community. After the cameras were installed we found there wasn't any visibility great enough to view/read the license plate details on vehicles (as requested). This was May, 2025. When we reached out we were told we would have to pay an additional $1,200 to have a different/license plate reading camera installed. We reluctantly agreed since we were already over $6,000 into the project and didn't want to have to start over. The company's accounting department frequently pestered us for payment on the contract total though the contract wasn't fulfilled and the correct camera hadn't been installed. While we awaited the different/license plate reading camera installation we frequently had connectivity issues where most of the time we couldn't even access the video footage/live view. After the correct camera was installed months went by where even the company wasn't able to get the license plate camera to work correctly at night. After several/many return visits they were just recently able to get it working (January, 2026). Days after they got it working their accounting department immediately pestered us for final payment after taking 6+ months to get the system satisfying our basic request and contract terms. There wasn't a rush to get the system working, but there was a huge rush for payment. I wouldn't recommend this company or the Wisenet camera systems for these reasons.
