Papa Dogs has a real, lived-in feel, a kind of cute and quaint charm that still feels authentically small-town. I ordered the Albuquerque turkey, it was the perfect combo of flavors and the super cold pineapple hard cider was much appreciated. They were out of chips so I skipped on that (obviously) The folks working there? Solid. No fuss, no fake smiles, just genuinely kind and efficient. But let me tell you, the true salvation, the damn highlight of this whole pit stop, was that patio. We peeled off our helmets, stretched out, and let the Weaverville air wash over us.
