I had uncomfortable experiences with other counselors due to patient confidentiality issues, calling CPS or police for things that the corps that own them require them to call for, and not feeling safe to fully open up with prior therapists as a result of that. I have had no such bad experiences with Georgeann, she is absolutely wonderful and takes the time to understand and help with any issues I have had growing up. She has gone to court with me and has been my backbone, and has helped me better understand and work through a lot of my traumas and addiction as I went through it. I 100% recommend her services, especially if you are looking for someone who will not cause legal problems for you and your family since she is a private counselor. Every appointment I have with her feels like I am going to visit a good friend who is there to help me :) I have brought other patients to her who agree with me as well, she is fabulous at her job and is an amazing person overall with all that she does to help people, families, and children in need. She has also let me bring my emotional support animal into my sessions, and grew quite close to her while my ESA was alive. The front desk lady, Tacey, is also very sweet and helpful! I look forward to coming in every Friday and seeing her and miss Georgeann. only reason for one star is because negative numbers aren't allowed…read more After ambushing my dad with a hospice nurse we never asked for who told him he was a burden to us and that we were going to get tired of helping him. And that he had no quality of life and pretty much should go on Hospice to die so that we would be relieved of the burden of his care. (Paraphrasing) then when he was told there was nothing else dialysis could do, he made the decision to go on hospice. They came out with multiple promises and how this was going to the best thing for him and us. The only promise they kept was the hospital bed being there that night. The comfort package didn't come until 30 minutes before his death. We called the 24 hour number and never got an answer. We had to call the nurse, who gave us another number, and they didn't answer either. Dad passed way in pain and without any of the comforts they promised. They only answered the phone after he had passed. Which happened to be our 5th call to them. The police came and pronounced because the nurse came over an hour and half after he passed. There was so much more that could be said about their " care" but I feel I've said enough. Please take more all over training to better care for families so no one else has to go through what our family did. We were promised help and care and had to go through the entire process alone, ignored and feeling utterly worthless.
