This was my 2nd time in the store and it will be my final. I have never had someone accuse me of stealing, especially with no reason to do so. It was an honest mistake. End all be all, Greg (the floor manager) clearly hates women, not to mention I'm 8 months pregnant - he confiscated my item (because he couldn't confirm that I didn't take it off the shelf - even though I didn't go near that isle) and refused to refund my $7. He claims because it was in a bag he could not confirm that I didn't take the item that day and "his count was off". Pretty much I walked in and was robbed myself. They let you look at the samples on your own and at your own leisure. They were available to answer questions. We truly appreciated the fact that they let us browse on our own and that we didn't have to have a babysitter like other local granite suppliers. When we would ask for certain pieces to be looked at, they obliged with a very friendly attitude, again unlike other places we visited. We had visited StoneX probably 6 -7 times and never once did we feel unwelcome or bothersome. We highly recommend StoneX to anyone looking for granite. They have so much to choose from.
