I received a COVID-19 test the morning of June 24th, it took about an hour and a half which I completely understood because it was busy and I was a new patient. The nurses were nice, I was grateful, etc. Times are hard, let's be gracious. The office clearly communicated to me that I would receive a call with positive or negative results in 3-4 days (not business days, just days). 5 days comes around so I call the office several times with no answer and no voicemail option. 6 days passes with no call once again, so I repeat the process. I called Colonial Healthcare 27 times to be met with no one and was put on hold for just under an hour before I gave up. I have a coworker and a roommate who were both tested DAYS AFTER ME at Prisma Downtown and received their results in 1 and 2 days, respectively. So this was clearly an outlier of delayed results. At the very least, I could have been communicated with that my results were delayed for whatever reason. Called, or emailed, or at least answered my calls or had a voicemail option available! I know things are hard and I feel terrible for even writing this because I have so much love and respect for healthcare workers, but for YOUR own safety and peace of mind, I would not recommend getting COVID testing done here whatsoever. Drive a little further and go somewhere else with good turnaround results. I'm unable to tell my work or my roommates if I have exposed them or not. I'm fortunate I can work from home while I self isolate to be extra cautious, but you may not be able to.

I was disappointed to get a call back that Dr Johnson declined seeing me and suggested I return to the previous provider. It's scary for a woman to suggest to another woman to return to a provider that was mean, cold, condescending and rude (a matter that was escalated to upper management at that office). It's so hard navigating the health system when you're unheard and unseen. I share in the sentiment that women's needs seem to be on the back burner. It's hard to trust in the medical profession when you can't even get a second opinion.

I've heard such great things which is why I wanted to make an appointment in the first place. I'm 14 weeks and have yet to have seen a doctor. Both appointments that have been made have been cancelled by them, the first one within one day of having the appointment. The worst part to me isn't even the cancellations but that you would think that an OBGYN, knowing that many of their clients are probably nervous, hormonal, first-time moms, would be extra compassionate, patient and thorough, explaining the process which is so new. My first contact with their office, being their office assistants, has been anything but that. I've had absolutely no contact with a doctor and what's sad is that I don't think I'll even go here based on their front desk worker, Elma. Hoping it's different tomorrow when I call and that they'll make up for it!

She was incredibly thorough and discussed all options with me, used a model to show me what I couldn't understand, and made me feel heard, seen, and valued. She answered every question I had and I am finally feeling like I am getting the answers that I need for my health. I am so thankful for her and her office staff! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and am looking forward to going back for continued care.

At one point,…read morethey lost my appointment and when I arrived (having traveled 25 minutes) they told me they were fully booked. They even checked and did find my phone number in their call logs, proving that I had set up the appointment. To add insult to injury, they charged me for the co-pay, claiming "the insurance company won't let us waive this." At another appointment, I had to leave after waiting in vain for 50 minutes. I have chronic fatigue, and was too weak to continue waiting. When I politely asked the reason for the delay, the staff had an attitude about it. I was also charged a co-pay for that day even though I was not seen. Some months later,, Dr. Pezzella scheduled a follow up appointment--to tell me that there was nothing further they could do for me. They didn't help me, and again charged me a co-pay for that appointment --to tell me they couldn't help me! The receptionist told me that Dr. Pezzella asks her to book four 15- minute appointments per hour--the appointments always go longer, and she is always running late. Their concern is not Patient Care, it's money, and they pack as many appointments daily as possible. You will NEVER be seen on time, and will OFTEN wait as long as 30 minutes or more to be seen. If you question this, you will be told "we are a specialty practice, and this is normal for a specialty practice." Except it isn't--I see 3 other medical specialists, and never wait more than 10 to 15 minutes to be seen.

I didn't have my portion (deductible) today and they would not bill me. That's fine, but she (Stephanie) was rude about it. There's no reason for that. If it was the policy, she would have never called billing and spoke about me in my face as though I wasn't there. But thankfully, I don't go low. I left without being seen but I also didn't reschedule because anywhere that doesn't care about me as a person can't care about my health. It doesn't matter to them, I'm sure, but they still lost a patient today. I've been going there since 2016! But today ended that "relationship." I'll find somewhere that still treats people like people.

They like to call you 1-2 hr before your appointment to cancel it, they are so dramatic and don't know how to keep their personal business at home instead of bringing it to work. Stephanie Gunn like to tell you about her husband cheating on her and his mistress keying up her car. So if you go to her, you better be careful because you may get attack by someone you don't know because of their personal drama in my opinion. Now the facts are I have been lied to several times and have the message to prove it and the intelligence level that the medical assistant Nicole has is not up to part for her job duties. Than she like to disrespect you by saying smart remarks and when you say something back it's a problem. The office manager there don't really care and they will lie to you to keep you from writing complaints. I have even have the NP I was seeing sent me to have the wrong thing done, for the people at Lexington to tell me thats what I don't need and I need this. This place is awful , unprofessional, and to much of drama. It is my best opinion to never recommend anyone to go there . Exactly, why I told my mom if she die or something bad happens because of them, I will not help her because she choose to stay knowing about all of this that I speak of . When you got messages and audio proof. There is nothing no one can say . So they won't load my photos but hey just go to google. Even employees agree . There are so many negative to review on them, it's not hard to find. It's one on indeed empolyees and couple of them talking had bad the office is ran and how bad the so called professional like the nurse Practitioner is. I can't make this up if I tried
