Infant room teachers are fabulous, and the administrators are organized and communicative. They also have some of the best amenities for babies of the daycares I've seen in the area (crib sheets, snacks/meals provided). We enrolled my three year old son in the program a few months ago. At first I was very nervous about him getting adjusted at a new school since he tends to be pretty shy. However, within a week I noticed how comfortable he was getting and often times after school he would tell me: "Mama I had so much fun at school today." Another thing I love about the programs is how welcoming, knowledgeable, and loving my sons teachers are. They were so understanding about my worries as a parent and gave me some great advice about games and activities I can introduce at home to help him learn his colors, numbers and letters. read more

Horrible horrible experience with this center. Please do not have your children go here. We had a spot reserved for our daughter to start in March 2023. We had the spot secure since Summer 2022). Well we waited 6 months for this spot to open up. When I checked in a couple weeks before her start date, they told me she could not start because a teacher had resigned in the infant classroom. We were left with no childcare and no clear start date. 6 weeks later they told us a spot had opened up but we needed to make a decision ASAP. When I expressed my concerns that we seemed expendable to them, and we would have our child start at a different center, they simply sent us our deposit back without addressing any of our frustrations or concerns. I've never felt more like we were just a paycheck to them. And there was no consideration or sympathy that at all for putting us in this situation. Also keep in mind that the infant room is closed one day a week bc they don't have the staff available. I think it's a very bad sign they can't keep staff. We are with a daycare center now that are extremely nice and consider us family. I would not recommend this place at all. The director and upper management are just awful. read more

As a first time mom, I put a lot of thought into selecting a daycare for my daughter. She started in the infant room when she was twelve months and is now in toddlers. We have loved all of her teachers. They seem to genuinely care about her and all of the children. I am always amazed by the new things that she comes home having learned at daycare. I am comfortable leaving my daughter there each morning, knowing that she is in good hands and that she really enjoys her time there. The director and assistant director have been amazing and always send updates to the parents. The center itself is clean and in great condition and they are always rotating out different toys and activities for the children. read more

Unfortunately I can't even write about the center and the care they provide specifically, because we never got to that point. Our family was looking for a new center for our youngest, and went through the process of scheduling a visit, filling out application paperwork, etc. Communication from that point on was abysmal. I emailed the director several times and didn't hear back for weeks. I called and spoke to someone who had no idea who I was, or why I was calling (even though I stated my reason) and was minimally helpful. Luckily I had started to look for another center because with only 2 weeks before the start of the school year for our other children, I received an email from the director that it "turned out they wouldn't be able to offer us a spot" and "apologized for any inconvenience." 2 weeks notice in August is NOT enough time to find reliable childcare for a toddler under age 2, especially for this time of year. I scheduled inquiries and visits back in June to ensure that we would have a safe and reliable place for our child. I was appalled that the center thought an email and not a phone call was acceptable to communicate this type of message, although based on track record I should not have been shocked. The poor communication for me was a real red flag--if the center can't return an email or phone call in a timely manner (basic professionalism), when it comes to the safety and care of my child I don't even want to imagine what might happen. Extremely disappointed in this entire experience and that there are people running centers for young children that do not prioritize clear and timely communication with parents. read more

We are so pleased with our decision to choose Knowledge Beginnings. The director and assistant director are fantastic! They were able to answer all of my initial questions and quickly took to my son. We are welcomed everyday at the door with a big smile and a pleasant greeting. The infant teachers are outstanding. I could not have picked better teachers to care for my son. Everyday we receive pictures and an update of his daily activities. I know he is well looked after at Knowledge Beginnings. read more

How to put in words how much we loved this place? Our 2 year old daughter blossomed while attending this daycare. I was previously a stay at home mom, so she had a really hard time transitioning to full time daycare, but Knowledge Beginnings' staff was there for us. Our daughter became excited for school and knew all of her classmates' names. She ate better there than she ever did at home and now our little peanut doesn't seem as underweight. A daycare that is much closer to our home, cheaper, and where our other child goes offered us a spot, but it was tempting to turn it down. That's how much we loved K.B. and I'll say it was worth every penny. To top it off, the week before we left, they made my daughter an awesome book with her art work and pictures of her taking part in activities, e.g. Petting "curious creatures" (an in-house field trip where they brought it a snake, bunny, and other animals). They also made her a good bye photo with a lovely good bye message. This daycare is more like a school, in a good way, because while the kiddos are playing, they are learning a lot and every day there is a focus on something and the teachers have good credentials and seem to love what they do.
