During my visit, I casually mentioned that my under eye area was starting to look hollow, but that I was nervous about filler in such a sensitive area. Heather recommended Ultherapy, explaining it would help my body naturally produce collagen and in turn plump up the skin. I trusted she knew what she was doing and agreed to go for it. It was the worst decision I have made in my 34 years. The procedure was extremely painful and right before finishing, Heather said she was going to use a higher setting and treat under my eyes one more time. In that moment, she essentially carved into my face and destroyed the fat under my eyes. After I finished peeling, my under eyes looked awful. I developed severe discoloration, and I began waking up with under eye bags, something I had never had before ever in my all my life. I reached out to Heather, and she acknowledged the darkness, telling me to wait another week and that I would likely peel again. That never happened, and my under eyes did not improve. Realizing Heather did not know what she was talking about, I saw a dermatologist for a second opinion. He was shocked Ultherapy was used on me given my age, lack of wrinkles, and low facial fat. He told me Ultherapy should not be performed on patients with low facial fat, especially around the eyes. I brought this information back to Heather, and she arranged for me to meet with one of the female surgeons, I think name is Kimberly. Both Heather and the Kimberly repeatedly insisted Ultherapy was safe and could not have caused the damage I was experiencing. Because of the discoloration, Kimberly kindly offered me free of charge MOXI laser treatments and told me I could return as many times as needed until the problem was corrected, and that Maria would perform the treatments. I completed three MOXI treatments with Maria. The first two visits were fine, but by the third, she became dismissive and had the audacity to question whether I expected the treatment to be free. I said yes, because that was what I had been told and I still clearly had discoloration under my eyes. She went on to say I was taking up time on her schedule, benefiting from use of the machine, and because of that I should pay something and would check with Kimberly on how much it should be. Kimberly honored her word (suck it, Maria) and confirmed the treatment would remain complimentary, which I appreciated. At that point I was turned off completely and I asked whether it would be safe to use a higher setting so I wouldn't have to keep returning. Maria said yes. That was another mistake I made. After the third treatment, my under eyes looked even more sunken, the darkness spread further, and I developed fine lines and wrinkles in the areas she lasered. I was absolutely horrified and became severely depressed. After seeing three different dermatologists, I finally found one who correctly diagnosed the issue: the discoloration was not hyperpigmentation, but hemosiderin staining. I was told that using high setting, heat based lasers in such thin skin caused fat atrophy which exposed more of my vascular system, and on top of that traumatized the blood vessels, leading to the staining/discoloration. I have spent close to $4,000 on filler appointments and specialist visits to diagnose and treat the damage caused by Heather and Maria. What started as a $300 cosmetic appointment has resulted in not only loss of significant money but also loss of self-esteem, and permanent damage that I will have to live with for the rest of my life. TL;DR: The medspa staff at Panacea are ill-informed and uneducated on the lasers/machines that they use and have caused irreversible damage that has deeply scarred me mentally and physically. Please stay clear of getting procedures done at this practice's medspa.

My experience here was absolutely perfect, Angela is super knowledgeable and honest when it comes to her prices, products, and what she thinks would look best for you if you're not 100% sure on making a decision. The day before my appointment I was texted thorough instructions on how to reach her office, which was very helpful because navigating to it was quite challenging. There is a parking garage and also a few parking spots before the gated community area, but the spots are sparse. I recommend doing free street parking along the area, either the sidewalk in front of StudioPlex or the residential streets nearby and walking to the clinic, which will be through the walkway you see directly under the big StudioPlex sign. You have to walk quite a bit into the walkway, and eventually you'll see the clinic's sign out front. The interior of the clinic is clean and decorated nicely, with info pamphlets about the products being used and services offered. Through the entire process--consultation and procedure--Angela gave very helpful advice and I ended up adding on a botox treatment for my TMJ while also providing aesthetic results. I definitely would come again, you're shown immediate before and after pictures, and despite the differences the end result for me came out so natural and exactly what I was hoping for! Angela's also very generous about helping figure out pricing and pay, which I greatly appreciated!! This was my first time having any injectables done - I got filler in my lips and arrived still needing a consultation and professional opinion. My appointment was at 9:35 am on a Sunday at the studioplex location. I was nervous about the pain of injections after googling how bad it would hurt the night before but Angela put me at ease and totally accommodated me (had me lay down in case I passed out, iced my face, etc). I arrived about 30 mins early and Angela was able to see me about 20 before my actual appointment time, super considerate of my time. We had a brief consultation and talked about being conservative but still achieving the results I wanted. She numbed my lips for ~15 mins and they were good and numb by the time she started injecting. I am very particular and perfectionistic so it was a big leap of faith to trust someone with my face but Angela just gets it. My results are beautiful and she specifically said in my appointment the goal is to make it look like your lips, but better - not make it look different. I didn't know exactly the amount of filler I wanted and she basically said she would inject until it looked great, ended up using about 7/10ths of the syringe. Definitely the kind of professional to make the choice to send you home with beautiful results rather than try and sell another syringe or treatment just because she can. The injections felt like someone was just pinching me with tweezers, not even as bad as a bee sting. So so quick and easy. No pain after and hardly any swelling! I have a very light bruise 2 days later but it looks like nothing happened to anyone other than me. Literally everything could not have gone better. I think I walked out 30 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to start, so efficient. I will absolutely be back for Botox and recommend Angela to anyone who asks!

I had read about them in "The Price we Pay", by Marty Markary, MD, retired Johns Hopkins surgeon and critic of America's health care system. He saw Iora as a light in the dark and dirty world of medical greed and profit. With optimism, I joined, happy to leave my conventional (read: too busy and careless) old line practice of two decades. There was the Piedmont primary physician who had ignored my husband's out-of-whack liver results for weeks until he be specialist sounded the alarm that he needed emergency surgery, all indicated by the blood results the primary had ignored, despite numerous unreturned phone calls. We both left that practice that had been characterized for years by the doctor's tardiness and unresponsiveness. I tried Emory's Primary Care. This time I got a newly minted MD, marking time in primary care until she could qualify for one of the lucrative specialties, like cosmetic surgery. She misdiagnosed a chest x-ray and had an assistant call me and casually ask what I wanted to do about my aortic aneurism! When I requested a call from the doctor, I was told she was out for the week, but wouldn't talk to me on the phone anyway, so I had to make an appointment. A minute before, the non-physician, had wrongly informed me that I had a deadly condition that might rupture without warning and kill me. I got a recommendation for yet another old-line practice that I didn't know was being bought out by private equity, expanded to multiple strip mall locations, all of which were bare bones - a doctor, receptionist, nurse, and equipment to take vitals - which I have at home. There was another that was by subscription, requiring use of an app. Silicon Valley trying to uberize, gamify and degrade another business. Now comes Iora, for which I had hopes. After about a year, most of the care involved nurse-practitioners giving ridiculous, inappropriate and useless advice probably gleaned from Instagram influencers. The first problem, and it's a big one, is that they have none of the important diagnostic equipment that medical practices used to have as standard. So the basically healthy patient ends up spending all their time making appointments at hospitals and imaging centers. But at least everyone was friendly and pleasant. Their advertising touts an employee called "health coach" which also sounds like an Instagram influencer. I didn't like the location, a long, complicated drive, but at least it was a free-standing building with plenty of parking in a big box store mall. I was greeted immediately and waited only a few minutes. The doctor was a very pleasant young woman. My history was taken by a third person, who typed the conversation into the computer. It was better that the doctor wasn't focused on entering data instead of looking at me. So far, so good. I had no medical complaints, but just wanted to have a base visit. Then the phlebotomist tried to draw blood. She was terrible. Had to stick me repeatedly, ignored my instruction that my right elbow vein can't be accessed. I was black and blue and she only got half the blood required. I stayed for two years. One day I got a letter that Iora is now One Medical, purchased by Amazon for $3.9B. Next visit, the office was even more stripped down. No stenographer, no health coach. Just the doctor and me. She's taking notes, just like in the past. There was still no ECG or ultrasound, no bone scan equipment, no vein-finder (which Amazon sells at a low price, and could have made the blood draw easier. I am driving 30 miles each way in heavy highway construction for no reason. The doctor orders normal annual tests at a hospital complex. It was left to me to spend hours navigating what was likely the world's worst phone system. One Medical had no employees to handle this burden. Forgot to mention that I did come in once with swelling and pain in my leg. The Nurse suggested physical therapy, with no diagnosis. Then she suggested an x-ray. Of course they have no x-ray machine, something available at most medical offices, even urgent care walk-ins. I had been sent on several missions for imaging, only to find there had been no change since the last one. I'm becoming suspicious that One Medical has a financial relationship with certain specialists and facilities. I have moved to a concierge practice, which I've visited once and was rushed, wasn't given 24-hour contact info or a list of services as promised and my first complete physical will only take 30 minutes. US medical system is all profit and little actual medical care. No wonder there are so many Instagram stars.

The procedure was EXTREMELY painful to have endured for ZERO results. Down time was lengthier than what I was told. When I went for my 3 month post-op, I was seen by an assistant, they took photos and even the assistant noticed the lack of results-literally no difference in photos from before to after. At almost 1 yr. post-surgery I was still experiencing sharp pains, numbness & soreness. I am HIGHLY disappointed & very upset that I fell for the hype and paid so much [$17,500] to have NOTHING to show for it. Over 17K is nothing to sneeze at-at least for me it's not. The doctor [Bedford] is the professional & if they didn't believe me to be a good candidate then they should have given the proper advice i.e. " you're a great candidate for this, but not so much for that", but of course it seems money was more important & why am I not surprised. Shame on AIRSCULPT. I'm clearly not alone here judging from other reviews. What they've done is not ethical. When the office contacted me, they offered to "take a look" & perhaps correct something BUT I would be INSANE & NAIVE to go back under the knife with AIRSCULPT when they were the ones to mess up to begin with. I also have to add that at some point in between sedation & semi-consciousness, I was shown a picture of "fat" they said was extracted from me BUT hindsight, now I believe that was a lie and could possibly be a container they just whip out at the end of a procedure to get the "wow" factor. I am actively exploring all available avenues to determine whether legal action is warranted. I find it difficult to believe that I am the only individual experiencing these concerns. Unless AirSculpt is prepared to discuss an appropriate refund or meaningful resolution, there is no need to contact me further. I take this matter very seriously and do not view it as a trivial issue.
