Beware! Once everything was moved in... a month later, they raised my rent 52%... I received an…read moreemail one month before it was due. The door to the large loading dock is often broken, obviously minimizing convenience. There are rarely carts available to help move items. I had to bring my own. "Manager", Larry was unprofessional and didn't even look up from his computer when I arrived- he was dismissive at best, and honestly contentious. In an effort to ease the tension - I apologized for my questions and told him I was not trying to be difficult- but he continued with the same attitude. I would look for alternative options to Prime Storage on Angliana in Lexington, KY if you're considering renting a unit.. AND check to see the plan for raising rent after you move in. It's a convenient location with UK... bust such a hassle in the end!!!!

Instead of calling and asking about my move out date they just excepted for me to pay it !!!! DO NOT GO THERE! if the move out paper explains the requirements then I would understand! Sending this to collect is NOT RIGHT And Larry said that's what he would do instead of cutting the lock as I'm on the phone with him.

Today was moving day.(who doesn't love moving day ... Ugh) I reserved a storage unit last week…read morehowever due to work I had to change the date several times . I have to say they weren't annoyed in the least that I changed the date 3 or 4 times . The unit was pro-rated because of how late we moved into it . The woman at the store front was super friendly and very patient with me as we've never used a storage facility before . The only thing I can complain about is that when I walked out of the office I tripped over one of the cement bumpers in the parking lot and fell on my face . I'm not sure how I missed that big bright yellow cement bumper coming back out . I'm not sure if they saw me face plant or not and to be honest I hope they didn't . I literally laid on the ground for 60 seconds wanting just to die of embarrassment. Now that everyone who reads this got a good laugh (and it's ok if you did because I laughed to). Anyway back to the review . The storage unit was clean and didn't have any funky odor to it&was easy to find once we went through the gate . The pricing is in my own opinion fair and I don't feel like they price gouge you at all. As much as I'm satisfied with the overall experience I hope we never have to use them again . On a side note I HATE moving !

Do not trust this company. My experience with StorageMart has been defined by predatory billing and…read moredeceptive advertising. They promised me a promotional rate and three months of covered rental insurance. Despite me providing proof of my own active insurance policy, they deliberately charged me for their own insurance at the start of the third month and point-blank refused to refund the money. It is clear that their business model relies on trapping customers in unauthorized charges and then hiding behind "administrative requirements" to keep your money. To make matters worse, the units are not the size they advertise. They consistently shave inches off the units--likely to cram more people into the facility--meaning you are paying for space you are not actually receiving. When I challenged them on this, they tried to offer me a "credit" for a unit I am already moving out of, showing that they have no intention of ever actually making things right. This is a dishonest, money-grabbing operation. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.
