Beware! Once everything was moved in... a month later, they raised my rent 52%... I received an email one month before it was due. The door to the large loading dock is often broken, obviously minimizing convenience. There are rarely carts available to help move items. I had to bring my own. "Manager", Larry was unprofessional and didn't even look up from his computer when I arrived- he was dismissive at best, and honestly contentious. In an effort to ease the tension - I apologized for my questions and told him I was not trying to be difficult- but he continued with the same attitude. I would look for alternative options to Prime Storage on Angliana in Lexington, KY if you're considering renting a unit.. AND check to see the plan for raising rent after you move in. If I could post zero stars I would . Larry is rude!!!! He is not helpful at all ! I'm calling management everyday on him until something is done. I moved out 12/30/2025 and they are charging me for another month?? DO NOT GO THERE!!!! Saying because I left a $10 lock on there , they will change me $150 for the month. Instead of calling and asking about my move out date they just excepted for me to pay it !!!! DO NOT GO THERE! if the move out paper explains the requirements then I would understand! After renting a unit from this place for 4 months, I am disappointed. There's a leak that hasn't been fixed the entire time I've been there. There's bathrooms have NEVER worked, and there's only 2 carts (which are falling apart) that are never available because someone will hog both of them for hours at a time. I rent two units from this location. I have on automatic payments. The problems I have encountered a threshold that made it difficult to negotiate with their carts available. The automatic doors were repaired when I answered questions on a survey early into the lease. However, they open and close at short intervals oftentimes closing on cart contents. Carts are few and far between. Again, when asked, I suggested more carts. They did add another one. When trying to lift over the threshold, the handles came apart, one time dumping the contents where they were pummeled by automatic doors! I complained and was told, there was nothing more they could do about threshold or carts. Since I was near getting both units full, what do you do? I was donating to the fire department's holiday drive. I was met at the Prime Storage location by a fire dept van. We entered, filled the van. We had one large wardrobe box (cardboard) that the fireman said he would dispose of. I left first. I saw an employee coming down toward the entrance gait as I was leaving. This morning I got an invoice from Prime Storage for 91.00 above my lease amount, 75 of which was for leaving trash. The other 17 for insurance since my homeowners was no longer valid. I own property in Lexingon where I live. I had my agent send the autorenewal of my home insurance which includes storage units. They had been charging my account x 3 months - I pay for two units, and I did not notice t h e 17.00 difference. I called the administrative office and there was no reasoning, just parroted over and over that they could charge per the lease. I tried to offset perhaps my understanding of the lease with my putting up with deficiencies in accessing the units. I questioned why when the very prominent fire dept van they did not come to check out the goings on. Admin had no comment. Bottom line, courtesy and customer satisfaction are not high priorities in my opinion. They jump at the chance to add on at their discretion if it favors them. I am 73, took a lot of effort to fill these units. Trying to consolidate into one, thus the fire department contribution. I am sort of stuck because of personal situation, but one should be aware of the lack of concern for issues as above, just there to cash in! read more

I found this storage unit online and the price for the size of the unit was way better than anywhere else that I could find. The quality of service that I got from both workers that I interacted with over the phone and in person, was very nice, and they were extremely helpful and kind, the actual unit itself is extremely nice and well worth the price read more

Great people to work with. The building is clean, new and air conditioned. It is very secure. The team is extremely responsive and willing to fit your needs. I wish they'd add a keypad inside the gate so that you can let movers in when you're standing inside and they're outside, but that's a minor detail. dont use this service this place stole my items and i have never missed a payment and was not given proper notice to retrieve my items i was told that the only reason she did not give me the notice was because i was in another state and it would have to be retrieved in 24 to 48 hours/, first of all, she didn't knows where was and didn't me time or notice/her name i Christina she very rude and does not need dealing with people my mom's ashes were in my storage so of course, i would have retrieved my property she was yelling asking what did i want her to do she probably has them in her house allegedly i have to contact lawyers and sue this is an outrage to treat peoples property like that without the proper procedures i have every correspondence as well as the records then she wants to say she will contact the buyer well she may not have to look far allegedly she is the corporate if i could give negative 100 i would do not use this place read more
