Booked oil change appointment for 7:30 and told it will take 1 and half hours at 9:00 I inquired if my car is ready and now told it takes 1 and 3 quarter hours for a simple oil change and the guys who do it doesn't start till 8:00 so why do they book you for 7:30 I guess our time doesn't matter.Finally get my car back at 9:20 !2 hours for a simple oil change! Adam Fang at Richmond Hill Lexus is the worst sales person I have ever delt with in 50 years. Richmond Hill Lexus used unethical sales tactics to force me to make a deposit. When I cancelled the the agreement they promised to return my deposit. When I followed up, they refused to return my deposit. They said "we are keeping your deposit". Avoid this dealership at all costs. I am not going to name names but the Finance manager is a compulsive liar. I tried to do a lease buyout and the lies that I was told were ridiculous. I have emails that document the non-stop lies. There is no integrity at this dealership. They are out to screw customers any possible way that they can. Their actions border on criminal fraud. They will do absolutely anything to make a buck. My experience had to do strictly with the lease buyout. Some of the straight up lies I was told are as follows: 1. Lease buyout must be at the dealership that the initial lease was signed with (FALSE) 2. Lowest financing rate will be provided (FALSE. I was given a rate with Scotia Bank that was a full point higher than Lexus Financial. Why would a dealership not give a customer the lowest rate available. Who knows, probably some kick back from Scotia Bank). 3. Lease documents clearly state that the buyout charge is 300. This is on page 2 of the contract under section 7. This dealership tried to make up some BS excuse and charge me 600. These are the items that I remember but I would tell you to avoid this dealership at all costs. It may be great in the beginning, but in the end it will be PAIN. I went to Lexus on the Park. The finance manager was upfront and disclosed all fees and financial options. Hi I am Simak Jahed going to write here my experience of getting lied and calling themselves lair and geting a bad deal from Lexus of Richmond Hill on Yonge& Gamble Me and my wife want to get a new car and because I had and drove Lexus I loved that car very very much. On Saturday 23 of August 2020 we went to Lexus of Richmond Hill to get one and my wife said let's get sales person same languages as us so she'll get the Commission and nothing wrong there. she explained to us they have great deal going on right now and if you buy a Lexus, Lexus will give us $3000.00 as a gift that we can put as a down payment and they have a demo RX30 that she can get great deal. So we had talk and negotiation for an hour and it came to I leas the RX350 and put $,6000.00 as down payment and $310.00 by weekly and she is going to get us the car by next Tuesday Aug26 and she asked me to pay $3000.00 no problem there and than they sold me the services another $58 by weekly. What happened after they couldn't give the car on time and I had to wait until next Saturday. Sales person told me they had to fix some things ik and clean the car While I'm waiting for the car I talked to few people I knew at different Lexus dealership and they told me I got a very bad deal. First it's a used car and they call it demo to save the price because if they call it used car the price will drop by 15% and second they should of give you the services for free at least. When I talked to sales person about it she said when you come to pick up the car we will talk. So on Saturday Aug/30/2020 I went to get the car they told me because I signed papers they won't do anything And sales person and sales manager told me people or sales persons from other dealerships they say things to sale a car (( from dealership to dealership they call them self a liars)). And when it came to final pay she charged me another$3000.00 for down payment I asked her why ?? I already paid $3000.00 and Lexus gives gift of $3000.00 and that's $6000.00. She said no down payment is $9000.00 And I have to pay another $3000.00 and she did this after I signed for everything. Nowhere in our conversation she told me I'm paying $9000 as a down payment even the sales manager I wouldn't Accept the-deal. They lied to me. They kept the car for extra 4 day to fixe the car and certify it but when I was driving with my family on Highway and when I took break the car start shaking so bad that my wife scared and still dose that. steering wheel Pull's little bit. Dealership is always clean and neat. Their service department is professional and always on time which is a great deal, as you don't always see mechanics on time on the service side. Sales reps are helpful, and usually work with you to accommodate. I got a good deal on my lease last January, they had to accommodate a special case taking over my previous financed car. We had a terrible experience with the sales rep. Riley Huang was extremely unprofessional and rude. When we asked him for a lease quote, he complained about the fact that he would have to walk all the way upstairs to give us a print out. His answer to every question was "it's on the website". I've been dealing with this dealer for almost 3 years now as I live about 5 minutes away and own a Lexus vehicle. My rating is based on my experience with the Service and Parts Departments. Been here for both routine and non-routine maintenance including purchase of winter tires and generally been happy with everything. Prices have been reasonable and they even beat other Lexus dealers on parts. Trevor became the SM here about a year and half ago. He is a reasonable guy and values loyalty. All of the SAs I've dealt with have been knowledgeable and helpful. Overall I like going here for service because they don't upsell hard or pressure you in to getting services you don't need. They also thoroughly clean the car inside and out after each service which is appreciated. Regarding the sales side of the dealership, it's a totally different story. Before I purchased my current Lexus from On The Park, I actually went to Lexus of RH as it was very convenient being literally next door. Long story short, they wouldn't budge on the price enough to make the deal happen. So this prompted me to start emailing other dealers in the GTA and On The Park ended up giving the exact car I wanted at the price I was looking for. It was a shame they lost my business so easily by playing too many old school pressure cooker games and refusing to offer a competitive deal. They literally pushed me to their competitor. read more

Here is a luxury dealership who offers false advertising. They use autotrader to post their advertising with false info. I check autotrader for a 2017 nx200 which was listed for $30890. I made an appointment and went in to see them and they told me the price is $33890 not $30890 which was advertised. They told me it's a mistake and they won't bargain on price. They still haven't taken the ad off of autotrader. I guess they still want to lure people in with false advertising. I'll have to report to omvic I guess. read more

I initially gave a lower rating, based on Lexus Canada not being able to find the problem with the car. I had a 2018 RX 350 with very low KM's. I experienced a sensor problem at about 2000 KM which the dealership could not fine. I then experienced a major issue with the radar collision system in the car which caused the vehicle to panic apply the brakes thinking I was going to hit an object when in fact there were no objects in front of me. Lexus Canada sent engineers to test the car and found nothing the matter although I believe some adjustments were made. This vehicle had an obvious problem which the dealership or Lexus Canada claim they could not find. After further discussions the car was traded in at the dealership for a new 2019 model. The dealership has been most helpful throughout all of this and with support from Lexus Canada my situation has been resolved to my compete satisfaction. read more

Amazing customer service and is truly proud of the job he does and it shows. He listened to what happened and made every effort to remedy the situation. He also advised that the service advisor that I originally dealt with was no longer an employee at the dealership (had been let go prior to my review). All the other staff members I have since dealt with at this dealership have been absolutely phenomenal. read more

Here is my story: I came here in Aug 2014 to buy a new car. The rep I dealt with (who will remain unnamed) was very nice, but in my opinion too out of touch with how to deal with the younger generation. For example, when I brought in my Unhaggle Report to ensure I got the best price, he was unaware of how to deal with it. Long story short, after 4 hours of negotiating we were unable to strike a deal, mostly because of his lack of computer skills and lack of initiative to try and get me the best price. Similar to most other dealerships, I just wanted to see on a computer screen my breakdown of payments to show how he came up with the final number based on all the inputs (I.e. purchase price, term, residual, interest rate, etc.). This was not possible, and everything had to be hand written out which took forever, and did not include the detail I would have liked to see when making such a large purchase. In the end it came down to price: he was not able to give me a 1% loyalty discount for having an existing lexus within the past 2 years, and he was not able to bring the monthly lease payment down to an competitive number. In the end, I walked away and went to Don Valley North Lexus. I asked for a younger rep that was more tech savy, and within 1 hour we finalized a deal and completed the paperwork. The rep at DVNL was able to call head office to get me a 1% loyalty discount on my lease rate for having an existing lexus (which the other guy was not able to do). He was also able to get me a monthly lease payment that was $75 less per month, and for 39 months vs 52 months (all other factors remaining the same). That may not seem like a lot, but it surely adds up over the term of the lease! Overall, the gentlemen at Lexus of RH was a very nice guy, but just not able to cut a proper deal. Whether he really couldn't do any better, or management was too strict - in the end the consumer has to do what is best for them. Bottom line: If you want to save time and ensure you get the best price, go to DVNL. Which, surprisingly is owned by the same company that owns Lexus of Richmond Hill - yet there is a huge difference in what you will end up paying. If I had to take a guess as to why, I think it may be be because DVNL is the top dealership in the country and therefore has more pull with head office, as well as able to do better on price since they move so much volume of product. I came in this morning to get replacement wiper blades for my two cars. I went to the parking lot to install them and a Lexus employee came out and offered to take the car into the shop and install them for me at no charge. I watched them do it and they even topped up my washer fluid before bringing my car back out. That is very good service. Well done. read more

We walked into LORH at the beginning of March looking to test drive a pre-owned RX450h with high expectations of excellent customer service from LORH. We're expecting a baby and we knew for certain that the hospital would not let our baby go home in our S2000. We heard so many wonderful things about their services, which prompted us to pay a visit and we ended up buying that car on the same day. Robby greeted us with a big smile which made us feel more welcome and less intense with the pressure of car buying. As matter of fact, we didn't feel any pressure by him at all and really enjoyed being at the dealership even for more than three hours. During the test drive, Robby was very knowledgeable and patiently explained to us so many features that the RX450h has, which I really enjoyed. Robby even made sure that most of the dings and blemishes being removed by outside party when their in-house technician couldn't fix them as well as new oil change. We were very impressed by the extra miles he went through to keep us happy with our first Lexus purchase. We were Honda fanatics before, but thanks to Robby for converting us to Lexus fan. LORH really lived up to its reputation. Thank you Robby and LORH for top-notch service and we look forward to Lexus night next week. read more

I came into the dealership interested in a used vehicle. I went on a test drive and when I asked to take it on the highway. Which was the norm of every other test drive I took at every other dealer. I was told that I could only take it on the highway once we made a deal. I was annoyed and didn't proceed. When I learned that they got a car in with very low mileage I was tempted to go back in. When I arrived, there were actually two cars that I was very interested in. One was a 2010 and the other a 2013 demo with very different features. I was told that we could not go on a test drive until I decided which one I wanted. I was told that I needed to decide. Hmmm. How am I to decide if I don't know the difference between the two... I indicated this and the sales person agreed to take me on a short test drive with each. Afterward, I went in to discuss the cars, and again I was bullied to make a decision about which one I want. I indicated that I could not decide without having an understanding what the pricing would be. As one was a demo and would have different financing. I asked about pricing, and was told that there is no room to negotiate. The prices are firm. No negotiating on one of the two cars. I made an offer on the other car and had to give my credit card, which is ridiculous. Such old school low class car dealership trickery. Ugh... The manager came to talk to me, and I felt like he was trying to bamboozle me. He was negotiating with me by reducing the monthly payment of the lease, but increasing the price of the car substantially. Said that to offer me the lease rate, they could not offer me the discount they had applied to the pricing of the car and so this car would actually be far more expensive. SLIMY!!! And classless... After I finally got the attention of someone he kept asking about my financials which I already told him my price range. He explained to me many times that "I should really do my homework on cars" because I told him I need an automatic car and he continued to show me cars with a paddle shifter or double clutch. I went to this dealership 3 weeks ago intending to buy the Rx350. My car broke down 2 days prior to that so I was going in to make a purchase. I sat down with a Sales rep and he talked to me for a bit and then we went to test drive the car. When we went to the parking lot the sales rep asked me "are you planning to make a purchase?" Which was weird, I mean if I am not then what am I doing in a Lexus dealership. So I told him yes I am an I intend to buy today and if I can get the car at the end of the day that would be great. So he got all excited. So we went to his office and started discussing the payment options. first thing he does is that he took my credit card and left it at the managers office, which was weird. i gotta sayyhis is not my first bran new car purhase, i just bought a mercedes C300 last july. as all buyers do I tried to get the best price out of him, so at the end he called the manager in. The guy just wanted to scam me, he kept talking and talking and talking... So he gave me his best price and I told him "ok if this is your best price then I need some time to think about it". So he got all weird and told me "I have a feeling you are not here to buy a car today" I got so pissed off being confronted in an unlawful way like that, it's up to my discretion to buy a car or not. He was arrogant and just spoke to me in an impolite manner. So I told him "I was planning to but I am not comfortable making a deal with you". Anyways I told him I want my ID and credit card back.. So he got up angrily and while walking to his office (I am walking behind me) he said in a loud voice "if you come back I will sell it to you double the price I mentioned". What a degrading impolite way to speak to a customer. I couldn't believe it. So I got my stuff and headed out and he walked behind me until I go to my car and watches me as I drive away from the dealership and gives me the dirtiest look. I couldn't believe what was happening. Is this the way to deal with a customer. I had all the intentions to buy a car. I am not obliged to buy a car if we start negotiations.. And that is not a manner to deal with any customer. Anyways this was my worst dealership experience and on that day I decided I will never get a Lexus car from this dealership. And took it on my shoulders to speak and spread the word to all the people I know about what happened. These people are just scammers. read more
