Decent spot for a pedicure. I got in easily at 10:15 AM on a Friday morning without wait. It is very clean inside and employees are friendly. I will say the leg massage is weak and not that long. $80+ is a lot to spend on a spa pedicure to not have a decent leg massage. The massage chair function didn't really seem to work very well on my back either, but honestly that didn't really bother me. Everything else was fine. The polish looks nice and neat. Nothing about it was bad or subpar. And I suppose this is about the going-rate now in Ohio. I sure do miss the price of pedicures (and eyebrow threading for that matter) in NYC. It always struck me as odd that it is so much cheaper in the city than anywhere else in the country. I guess it has to do with competition there. Lexi Nails was always my go to. We moved across town and I began going to a nail salon by the house. Due to late planning on my part, I couldn't get in. I gave Lexi a call and they fit me right in. The space had been updated and was bright. Thankfully the same owners and familiar faces. I now drive across town to Lexi when I need my nails done. I got an acrylic set done yesterday for vacation and i am very disappointed, the man that did my nails was ok but he made the nails way shorter than i wanted and the gel that he didn't even ask if i wanted didn't even cover my whole nail the nails are also all different sizes and lengths, he also did not push back my cuticles so the nails look like my natural nails are already growing out, the proses of doing the nails also extremely hurt, when he was shaving down and buffing my nails he got my finger more than he got my actual nail I'm surprised that i did not start bleeding, the man also dropped a lot of the stuff on the floor and picked it back up and used it like nothing happened which i get dose not sound that bad but it just dose not seem very hygienic, all of this for 50$ i am very disappointed that i waisted my money on this and i am looking for another salon to fix my nails straight away. read more

I got a manicure and pedicure, $50. The salon appeared clean, and was comfortable. They didn't massage my feet or hands for very long at all, or use any salt scrub. The woman who did my nails was not talkative but that's ok. They had a good selection of gels and colors. I called a few minutes prior to my arrival to see the current wait time and was greeted by a sweet English speaking woman. I walked into the nail spa and was met by the receptionist who was super friendly! I made my way to their nail polish wall which was limited and many polishes seemed to be thinned out. My tech, "Diane" helped me to a station and began by full set. She was gentle and thorough throughout the time checking to make sure I was happy with her work. The polish I ended up with was applied in thick coats but overall a great experience. Diane is great and fast! I would come here again when visiting the Canton area. The spa was nonstop with appointments and walk-in which was assuring as I'm visiting and didn't know what to expect from this location. Haylie seemed to be very friendly while working on another customer seated next to me. This location is a decent size and run efficiently! I went here for a few years. They got to know me and my family on a first name basis. There were some changes made, some people quit, and almost every face was new. That is where is started to go sour for me. Half of them did not know how to do a pink and white fill. "Oh you going to have to wait. I can't do that" was a common saying around there. I don't know how you could work in a nail salon and not know how to do something. It is not a specialty where only one person knows how to do it. It's fairly common to get pink and white fills. Waiting. OH THE WAITING. My grandmother and myself had a 10:00am appointment. First thing when they open. Or so I thought. We get there and the doors do not open until 10:10 and only one person is there. A group went back to the pedicure seats and sat. We sat in the lobby waiting. My grandma got seated at 10:25 and I never did. I waited until 11:30 when she was done to leave. Ridiculous. They ended up giving me a $25 voucher for the trouble but that did not even cover the cost of my fill on my nails. Started going to a nail salon in Greene. So much nicer! read more

The nail salon is much larger on the inside than it appears to be from the outside. We went in without an appointment and didn't have to wait for our shellac manicures. They have a ton of color options to choose from for shellac. Shellac manicures are $30, seems to be about average around here. Lan was very thorough for my manicure. This place is A-MAZ-ING. My experiences here are always 10/10. Very quick and they know what they're doing. And prices are the lowest I've ever seen for a nail salon! Just $45 for acrylic AND shellac, $35 for just acrylic and regular polish! I would definitely recommend this nail salon to anyone, especially with the great jobs that they do, and the prices are just the cherry on top. I've been here a couple of times since I moved. The longest I've had to wait is about ten minutes. They have lots of colors available and do a variety of services from nails, to waxing and massage. Prices are reasonable. My second time there was kind of an odd experience. I got a mani/pedi. The pedicure was fantastic. Very relaxing and the woman did a great job. When I went in get my manicure I started with one woman, then another came and took over and then the first woman came back to finish. I was told that certain people can only do certain services. There were only two people there that evening that could do shellac, and two that could do acrylics. So you may want to book an appointment if you have something specific. Specifically Amelia. She is the best! If you schedule an appointment, you need to schedule with Amelia. When I leave Lexy Nails, I obviously rave about my nails but what I love the most and why I keep coming back is Amelia. The polite conversation and general care Amelia have for me and my life always puts me in such a cheery and happy mood. Was a usual customer but the pedicure technician I had this morning was rude and rough, did a mediocre job at best. She picked up my things and hurried me out of the door as soon as the service was done, even though no one was waiting and they had plenty of staff, leaving me with no time to let them dry. My cuticles weren't even cut completely, shouldn't that be standard? When I pay for a pedicure, I don't expect to have a messy outcome complete with such a rude technician. The amount of traffic made me think wow this place must be really good at what they do. However it was set up more like an assembly line, one person does this and then quickly moves you to the next station. I got acrylic with a design, the price was slightly more than my go to place in Raleigh, NC. Since I was visiting family they recommended this nail salon. Not only was it obvious they were more concerned with quantity of customers rather than quality, they were a bit rough. Not only did the rushing manicurist make my cuticles bleed she did not not even cut my nails before applying the acrylics. While the design was cute it was a completely different person, no sense of customer interaction. Let me start by saying that I hadn't had my nails professionally done in over a decade before I came here two weeks ago. It was a birthday treat with my mother. We both decided to try gel nails, something we'd never had done before. We had two different techs. I had Kyle. He started by cutting my nails and gluing on tips. Because I'd never had gel nails, I didn't know this wasn't what was done. As he was finally smoothing my nails with the drill, he said something in his language to another tech, but the phrase "acrylic manicure" was clear. This leads me to believe he realized his mistake but didn't address it to me. My mother also wanted gel nails. She was sat at a station and waited at least a half hour for someone to start working on her. She'd glued 9 tips on my mother before saying "oops...you said you want gel." After the time waiting, my mom told her to just continue with the acrylic rather than start over. When my nails were done, Kyle rang me up and I paid with my debit card. My mom asked me to ring hers up as well. (I figured we'd do separately so that any tip would go to the appropriate person.) Kyle said he would add it to my bill and made a notation on the receipt. Fast forward a few days, my bank showed a charge for $76. How do two sets of acrylic nails (with just polish, no design) come to $76 when the menu price lists $25?? Upon calling to get the situation rectified, the manager is never available. Go figure. I won't be back and I'll discourage anyone I know from going there as well. read more

I've been to this salon in the past and enjoyed the service. In previous years when you walked in the door and wrote your name down someone welcomed you,asked you what service you wanted, directed you to pick out your polish, and asked you to take a seat. This year 2012 is not the same. So far I've had two bad experiences in a row. In April I visited for a pedicure. I went in and signed my name. I waited 15 min or so before being directed to the back pedicure area. I took my chair, and after 5 minutes someone came along and filled the water up on the foot bath. While I was waiting, two other women came in. Although I was there first, in two separate instances when one of the girls finished with their client, they overlooked me and went to the other women who came in after me. After sitting for a bit a young man came over and took care of me. He was polite and apologized for the wait. He did a good job, and I left. Yesterday morning I went back for another pedicure. I knew the routine, so I picked out my polish and took a seat. After 10 minutes or so two other ladies came in. After a bit longer I was directed to the pedicure area. The other two ladies came back after I was in my chair. And we waited. No one filled the foot baths. We just sat with our feet up on the edge of the foot bath. Once again, instead of getting serviced ahead of the two other ladies, I was overlooked. During this time no one looked my way, no one filled my bath. Completely ignored. As I looked around, one of the girls finished her client. Instead of servicing me, she went out front and pulled another client in for a manicure. And I'm getting a bit upset, because I've now been in the place for almost an hour, and I am still waiting for service with my feet sitting uncomfortably on the top edge of the foot bath. Finally another girl finishes, and I think "Okay. My turn". But guess what? It still wasn't my turn, because that girl went up front and brought another lady back and proceeded to start her instead of me. At this point I am just flabbergasted. So I get out of the chair, put my shoes on, and I go up front and stand by the manicure table near the person who appears to be in charge and who directed me to the back an hour ago. And when she looks at me I tell her that I've been sitting in the back for almost forty minutes, and I keep getting passed by. Her immediate response was that all of those other people had reservations, so they were all ahead of me. She said that I would be next in line. Now when she said this she didn't stop what she was doing to ask questions or check the appointment book or anything. She threw out a response and went back to what she was doing. So I told her "never mind" and went to another shop. Maybe they weren't friendly because I wasn't a regular. Maybe they were really busy, and didn't think to tell me that I would have to wait an hour. In any case, their service and attitude is subpar, and I will not be returning. read more
