To be clear, David's Bridal was the first bridal store I went to when I began my search for my…read moregown. To be honest, I was uncomfortable to put myself into a gown for a day that has a purpose to put me in the center of attention. However, I had done my research before going in, with my thoughts that I did not want the traditional white/ivory color, a little thought on the cut, but I also had an open mind to see what silhouette would look great and maybe, just maybe I would find the one. My appointment was on a Friday evening at 7:30 pm and NO ONE else was in the store. I asked my stylist, Anaise, if this was normal, and she said "Yes, this is the BEST time to come!" - I pictured the excitement to come on a Saturday when the shop might be bustling with excitement, but through the appointment I LOVED the fact that it was just my stylist, my friend and myself. I did not have to feel strange eyes on me, and I could just be me and honest. Anaise gave my friend and I an opportunity to go through the store and pick some dresses that we enjoyed and wanted to try. The only dress I really wanted to try was a gray one, but we still were open to that traditional white/ivory. After I tried on several, I put on the gray and I knew that was the right color. Then I tried on a gold that was a a great fit but the color was just wrong. The experience was great to get me warmed up, Anaise did a great job, was professional, and really understood what I was after, but David's Bridal was limited to what I really wanted. Unfortunately, the styles found online were not available in the store anymore as well. I would say the store gets 2-3 stars, but staff gets 5 because they are fantastic. I give 3, though, because I would say the options remain limited for myself. However, the prices are great, affordable, and you will be able to have a fantastic experience, find a dress with a great fit, and be beautiful on your day. I just did not have that experience here - for what I was looking for. Good luck and best wishes for finding your dress!

Rose had me put my dress on and she started pinning the needles on my dress telling me what I needed to do. She was the professional so I trusted her. She wanted to take in the sides of my dress as well as shorten the straps. I told her I didn't want it too tight and she assured me it wouldn't be too tight. She charged me $380 and I had to pay that day, which should've been the first red flag. The first time I went back to try on my dress, it was tight and the straps were so high my V-back was a U-back. I was mortified and asked if she would be able to restore to what it was before because I really just wanted my straps shortened about an inch and for it to be hemmed. I went back and forth to her shop for a total of 8 times. One time she didn't want to let me try on my dress after she had taken the sides out because I didn't have my shoes. She made such a big deal out of it in front of customers but I told her I was trying it on. It wasn't even ready for a hem yet, so I'm not sure why she made a big deal of the shoes. I walked and said "hello Rose" and she said, "hello Rose" back mocking me in a child's voice. Pretty rude. The 7th time I went back to try on my dress, I noticed a little stain on the back of my dress and the inner lining had partially a new material in it. I was not notified that she would be putting in new fabric to my dress. So that day, I was tired of her messing up my dress and I've given her way too many chances. She would always say that she could fix it and I believed her, so shame on me for believing in her 8 times! Anyways, I wanted to take my dress home and try to sell it and buy another dress because it was beyond repair by that point. Once again she talked me into letting her fix it up to a resellable condition and I did. *review continued in photos because it was too long. Order is numbered in green. Photos of butchery attached*
