We received several estimates for our luxury vinyl plank flooring job. LG Kramer was a little more expensive than the other two companies, but Lance and Carissa made such a very big deal about the quality of the work their installers do and their many years of experience as well as how the company stands behind their work and guarantees the satisfaction with the installation so chose we them. Installation: Without question, the biggest issue we have is the quality of the installation. Throughout the process, we shared our concerns without making any progress. We had to call the office several times to get Lance and Carissa to interact with the installers. We also had to send photos showing them our concerns. 1. We paid to have the floors evened out, however, it wasn't even (and still isn't). Another installer had to come back in when the job was completed, pull up some of the flooring in one area, apply some sort of leveling compound that had to dry overnight and then return and put the flooring planks back down. This caused more inconvenience to us as it was in the main throughfare to our master bedroom. Originally, we were told it was going to be a two-day job, and it turned into a five-day job. Finally, they did send in different installers to complete the job. 2. The flooring we chose were floating planks and are not glued down. When you walk on them, they snap, crackle or pop at various places and times. Lance and Carissa have been here when it happened and they heard it. At first, we were told the floors had to settle. Then we were told they could have been installed too tight and it was an easy fix. Did they fix them - no. Then they had the flooring representative come out but he was no help saying it wasn't the flooring. Lance said maybe it was just the color lot of the planks because one of the bedrooms with flooring of the same kind of flooring but just a different color didn't any make sounds at all. The flooring rep checked and came back saying there were no problems with that color lot. The company hasn't come back to fix the problem. Reading about the problem on NUMEROUS sites, it comes back to installation. The floors were not properly evened out. 3. The installer laid four of the same lightest colored planks right at the door and it looked awful. If he had so much experience, doesn't he look at what planks he lays down to make sure it looks pleasing? We took photos and sent them to Lance and Carissa. They agreed that it didn't look good. They said they would have the installer remove the planks and let me choose which planks I wanted there. The installer, however, said to me, "I'm going to pull up one board and let you choose which board you want to put there but I'm only going to do it once!" It wasn't said very nicely either. During almost the whole process, the installer had a boombox playing electric techno music at 100 dbls! We finally had to ask Lance to have them turn it down. read more

We chose LG Kramer to install hardwood floors in our 23-year old home in North Port because of several things that we noticed within 30 minutes of speaking with Lance, who came to our home to measure for the project. Lance obviously came prepared and had good technological resources for his assessment of our needs and our job. Moreover, he gave us a very frank and candid assessment of what he saw. I appreciated that he did not "sugar coat" anything or try to upsell us in any way. He explained in clear detail what was included in his bid and listed all those potential additional expenses that might be necessary once the old flooring was removed and his team got a better look at what we had. Obviously this company has a high standard of business ethics. After we signed the contract and met Javen, our project manager, we saw Lance's initial impression confirmed again. This is a company that is aware of and utilizes all resources possible to assure a good outcome. Yes, our home needed some special and unique approaches, but even though things at times appeared almost overwhelming, LG Kramer had strategies, utilized resources, gathered data, and was able to present me with good information in order to make sound decisions as a homeowner. Our new flooring is a beautiful and valuable enhancement to our home. And during the entire process, communication with the LG Kramer team was excellent. I was never in the dark as to what was happening. It was good to deal with a company that so obviously values professionalism and good business ethics. read more

I am overly satisfied with both the service and installation of my new tile floor. I found LG Kramer Flooring in Yelp from California, where I live. My initial contact was with Karissa, she was very helpful and worked very hard to assist in picking out the tile I was looking for along with the job timeline. Lance, the owner, stepped in to do the measurements and quotes as well as locking in a start date. There was constant communication and all my questions were handled in a very quick fashion. Karissa was on top of everything right up to the start day. I flew to Florida for the installation and the crew was top notch. The project manager a Javen, is very personable and listened to my concerns. Communicated with the crew and everything went great. The foreman, known as tile Bobby, is an artist. We had LVP installed throughout our Sarasota home over tile, and working with Lance, Gianna and the team could not have been easier. During a time when it's tough to even get people to call you back during any home reno project, LG Kramer's staff was incredibly responsive, attentive and able to answer any questions along the way. They were prompt, hardworking (the work crews, often led by Mikey, came either early or on time (!!!), and they worked overtime in order to get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible). Gorgeous products, awesome communication & just generally amazing people! We brought on LG Kramer Flooring to outfit our entire house, upgrading from tile to LVP. We got tired of dirty grout & a cold, unforgiving floor - and while some might not think of LVP as an upgrade, the difference was night & day! We selected LG Kramer Flooring after seeing the work they did for a friend and we selected our wood flooring material from a Sarasota flooring retailer. The flooring store does not offer installs and I have found in the past that it is a mistake if you go to a one shop that does it all. On day of installation his team showed up and got right to work and the entire installation process was phenomenal! They were accommodating as we choose to live in the home during renovation. We decided to replace our carpeting just before leaving our condo for the season and chose this company based on their excellent reviews, which we found were well deserved. The owners were out sick when we came in and had to make our plans and decisions quickly and needed help in doing so. Their employee, Karissa was wonderful and really went the extra way for us by coming by our condo and was very helpful, never making us feel rushed. We couldn't have done it without her help and guidance. She was able to get the project done in the time promised and was very enjoyable to work with. Although we had already left, our manager and our guest both told us how good the job looked and how nice and fastidious and helpful the workmen were. Thanks so much Lance and Gianna for all your help with our flooring needs. This past summer/fall we did a major renovation of our kitchen, breakfast nook, laundry/pantry, and a half bath. We knew this was a big space for new flooring and wanted something that wouldn't blow our budget. We we're very interested in luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring but had no experience with it. We had all the flooring in our entire home replaced with Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring and carpeting....what an experience.....the installers had to repair the foundation after removing old flooring as it was seriously cracked. Not a problem....done and new flooring installed and new baseboards installed and it is PERFECT! The installation crew was outstanding..and Justin was a great Project Manager. We then decided to have a tile floor installed on our screened in porch...,again.....what an experience. Justin assisted us with selection and Jessica was of great assistance with project...the two installers were amazing....so hard working and so pleasant. We could not be more pleased with the work LG Kramer did with our carpet. Speaking with Gianna was a pleasure to learn about their services, setting the appointment, and managing the process. She is extremely professional, an excellent communicator, and very courteous and pleasant to work with. When it came time for the appointment, Arthur called us 35 minutes before to give a heads up on their arrival time - many vendors say they will do that, and then just show up without calling. Since we were running errands, this was a big help to get the call beforehand. Our carpet became loose, and Arthur and team did an excellent job to tighten the carpet and make it look great. LG Kramer Flooring (Lance) is the bomb! We hired Lance and team to remove a wood floor in a bedroom and re-carpet 3 bedrooms plus a Home Theater. Lance came by and scoped out the job, gave us a great price and completed the work on-time and on-budget! His crew is even more fussy than I am, which is almost impossible. His 'seam man' totally rocks and without a magnifying glass, you'd never be able to find the seam. He crew was courteous and exceptionally neat. After the job was completed, Lance came by and personally checked all the work and did minor 'tweaks' to make sure is was absolutely PERFECT! I'll be using them again soon. I was in need of replacing carpet in my short term rental so I scoured the reviews for the best fit and all posts were positive but 1 in particular said they are good about working in a specific time frame. I went to their shop and met Karissa and Oscar. Both very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. We discussed my needs and they were great about understanding I had small windows of time and would work with me and understanding my budget. Karissa was great about keeping me posted as to the status of getting my carpet to the store and when it could be installed.
