Long overdue to write this review but finally getting time. We contracted with Kelley and Jeff ( I believe Kelly is the new owner) right before Christmas for a full kitchen remodel new counters , cabinets, sink, lighting etc. we were told about 2 months as they will only start the remodel when all components are in. 2 months later we were ready to go. We already had our granite (in a beautiful leather finish) picked out. The demo team showed up on Monday morning. Vladimar, his son, and Fred.They took the utmost care in taping off the floors and by the end of the day we had a big empty room and not a spec of debris anywhere! The next few days was the installation of base and wall frames and then moved on to the cabinets themselves. The quality and finishing of these Amish made cabinets is outstanding! Dovetailed sealed and corners butted so tight you would think it's one piece! The kitchen was coming together. Next was Alan from Export Granite... extremely professional and efficient. He knew exactly how we wanted the veins matched and from what portion. ( we selected Brazilian Fantasy in leather finish ) if you never seen leather finished granite. Head there to see it. It's a game changer and not anything like cookie cutter Cambrian that everyone has ! Brian's team from Light Life Electric and his team were extremely efficient and fast in installing underneath and kick plate lighting as well as repositioning pendants over our new island Plumbing was taken care of by 941 plumbing and he installed two new traps, sink, faucets and garbage disposal. Once that was complete Vladimir came back to do the finish trim? Crown molding and as they say "Voila" !!! We had a beautiful remodeled kitchen in less than 10 days and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend you call them Jeff Stumpo was our sales and Kelley the owner were heavily involved in our design and layout making suggestions you would never get from a big box or from any other contractor. We met with 5 contractors , did our research on reviews and decided on Copper Leaf... friends can't believe the difference in our home. It is only 8 years old but the builder grade had to go ! Of course they always ask "was it expensive ?" It was well within our "budgeted" plans. They aren't the cheapest nor are they the most expensive. I'd call Copper Leaf ....SOLID!!!! Listen to the other bad reviews. The owner is a nightmare to deal with. Product is not worth the price. You are better off going with Home Depot or Lowes. Ask to see an example of the product at his warehouse, he won't let you. Plenty of other options for cabinets. read more

A nightmare from start to finish. Contracted for new quartz counter, cabinets and backsplash. Gave them a deposit of $13,000. Counter slab installed but too big; color not the one I picked; two cabinet doors damaged. Started work in February 2025. By October, still not finished. I refused to pay remaining balance till work was complete. Copper leaf then hired an attorney. So I have wrong size and color countertop. The two replacement cabinet doors were delivered but Copper leaf refused to install. Could not.reach anyone from Copperleaf. Their lawyer insisted I deal with just them. I have dealt with many contractors, and NEVER been treated this way. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! Shameful!!!! read more

We are so happy with the work Copperleaf did for us. I found them at a home show after comparing with several other companies and having another company come out to give a quote. We wanted our cabinets refaced with new cabinet doors. We also had new soft touch drawers installed, a pantry cabinet, a custom hood, and a drawer microwave installed. Jody would do what other companies refused: I wanted my upper cabinets lowered three inches since they were unusually high and I am 5'2". Other companies didn't want to be bothered, but Copperleaf did it! The finished product really elevates our entire home to another level and makes it so much more functional for me. My experience with Copperleaf was great. The quality of the woodwork, the craftsmen who did the installation, and the fabrication of the granite countertop was better than expected. Additionally, they committed to start on a Monday and finish by Friday. The team arrived on time, protected my furniture/ floors from dust and debris, did a day's work, then cleaned up every night. First of all, the one star review for this company is false. They do not do business in San Francisco. We had damage due to a leaking dishwasher and had half our cabinets, including kitchen sink, taken out. We talked to several companies and Copperleaf could do it a month or more earlier than the others because they make their own cabinets. The damage was done in mid-October. Other companies said it would be February or March before the new ones would be installed. Copperleaf said maybe by the end of the year they could get the cabinets installed and cabinet doors and drawer facings shortly after that. Their design was excellent, and the exposed sides of cabinets, including a custom-built lazy Susan cabinet, would be covered in panels that matched the doors. Jody kept us informed about what was going on and quickly responded to my texts or emails. In December they told us the drawer facings and cabinet doors, which were coming from an Amish company in Ohio, would arrive the first week in January, so they wanted to wait and do it all then. They showed up on the 17th and tore out the rest of the old cabinets, repaired and replaced drywall where needed, and started putting in the new cabinets. After installing the lower cabinets, they had the granite fabricator come in on Wednesday to make his template. Other companies told us it would take at least a week from that point to get the countertop installed. The fabricator told us he would be back Friday. Instead, he came back the next day and installed the counter tops, including making a small shelf to hide an open area next to a support beam. However, he did not clean up one of the seams, and when the epoxy dried, it resulted in some of the edge chipping off. He repaired it, but in some places the width of the filler is a fourth of an inch, and it takes away from the beauty of the granite. The cabinets were finished on Friday except for the panels to cover the back of the custom cabinet. Those came in a couple weeks later and they came back, installed the panels, touched up some painted areas, and installed the baseboard. I had done wall paint where needed before the baseboard went in. I noticed that they made sure all the baseboard lined up at the corners, and they caulked everything, including the nail holes. We love our new kitchen. The installers generally cleaned up at the end of each bay, but they left some splatters of joint compound on the tile floor and on our driveway where they probably cleaned some of their tools. It took some scrubbing of the tile and a hose and stiff brush on the driveway pavers to get it cleaned off. Also, they did not install the lazy Susans so they lined up the correct way for closing the doors, even after I pointed that out. I was able to fix that. Don't listen to the recommendations on quartz. They will sell you that is best and it doesn't stain...not true at all. Don't try to tell the owner that you're not happy with product or workmanship because it doesn't matter what your opinion is because only his matters. He will tell you how he's done 7 million in Sales and never had a compliant. If cabinets wear he insists that you used chemicals when we did exactly as directed to use sdishsoap and water. Never came to see cabinets, he determines this by photos you sent. I have never been called a liar by any professional interaction i have ever had, but the owner will insist that you are lying as oppose to trying to correct the issue.f you need something taken care of like cabinets that wear or hinges that break, he tells you it will take three months to get to you because he's booked and never shows up. 26k on subpar work and product. The owner is rude, knows nothing of customer service and will always recite the contract back to you. If you call and don't get a call back he calls you a liar and tells you that they are a family business and asks that you send him screen shot of when you called. This was the worst experience we had with any contractor. I would not recommend him at all. Oh, if you have an issue with cabinets it takes over 30 days to get response from manufacture. Owner comes off nice when doing initial consult, but after that contract is signed, he shows his true self. Do not recommend at all. read more

After reviewing a few positive ratings for this company, we decided to call for an estimate for our kitchen, laundry room and mud room remodel. The owner showed up for our initial consultation and was easy-going and soft- spoken. Because of this, we felt comfortable with his presentation and decided to have them perform our remodel. Just let me say that after the contract was signed, the easy-going, soft-spoken demeanor ceased. Overall we are pleased with the appearance of our cabinets although we are concerned about the overall quality. The remodel start to finish was over 12 months. There are certain factors concerning this company that would give me pause if we had the opportunity to do this again. 1. The doors are made in the Amish country in Ohio. I am all for Amish craftmanship, but we had multiple doors that were unacceptable due to blemishes and paint chips. After 3 attempts at replacing a pantry cabinet door, the 4th attempt resulted in a door with a different shade of white. They finally decided to change all the doors in the pantry. 2. The doors do not have a coat of lacquer for protection, making them more prone to warping. 3. Cabinet doors that are in close proximity to walls, and contact them when opening, should have restrictor clips or hinges. I personally purchased clips after another professional cabinet maker pointed this out. We did not realize there were specific hinges or clips to correct this issue. They should have been installed. 4. The lower pantry door hinges came out of the wood and I was left holding the door in hand. One of the cabinet hinges in the in another kitchen cabinet only had 1 screw fastening it to the wood. 5. There are advancements or options in the industry that are not discussed such as pop-up electrical outlets in countertops. 6. Drawers would be more stable with less wobble with undermount slide mechanisms. 7. The drawer self-closing mechanisms are low quality. They consistently fail to close without an extra push. I would have paid for a higher quality mechanism if offered. I know this is factual because of a recent home office remodel by another vendor with higher quality drawer mechanisms. 8. The quotes should be more specific about the Grade of quartz or granite being quoted. A few samples would help. Upon touring the recommended countertop vendor, we realized that the basic Grade 3 countertops were unacceptable. The upgrades were at a significant cost. The countertop vendor does not commit to telling you how much the upgrade costs, leaving that bit of information to the owner. We were left with a feeling that there would be a significant markup for the upgrade over the actual quoted cost which was the case. 9. The company foreman is slow in responding to following up on calls or texts about service issues. Following a 2-week hiatus after a request for a service update, I finally reached out to the owner about our concern. I was told by the owner that he no longer handled that side of the business but would pass on my request. I was disappointed that the "owner", who sold us the job, seemed reticent in his reply. There are many other notable items I could relay but the bottom line is to do your home work before contracting with this company. The foreman recently responded to a service update request that they were having employee issues and it would be 2 weeks before completing our pantry. The replacement doors completion approached the 4-week mark. I would suggest at least 3 quotes from different vendors and ask lots of questions. read more

I can't say enough about these guys. Their price was the best and they said it would be ONE week from start to finish. That included total moving one side of the kitchen cabinets and installing Amish cabinets and drawers. The other side got new doors only. The granite was done in one day. Every day they clean up before they go. It's hard enough to have your kitchen torn apart without extra mess. The men were so hard working and efficient . Worst quality, worst customer service and sub par materials. Our installation was mismeasured, color was off and owner, when asked about these flaws told me to go f--k myself. I have since met someone else who has had exactly the same experience. I would never refer this company to anyone! Owner is nasty and unreliable. Contracted 8/30 to install 13 ft of sink cabinets and 4 ft room divider in master bath. Ran over lengthy wait time (quoted 8-10 weeks). Left site 11/20 with unpainted surfaces, exposed shims, uneven countertops and a substituted unmatched piece of countertop. Work finally completed Last week (March 18th) with last replacement of damaged panel. Eight Months. Call ONLY if you have adequate construction expertise to oversee all details. read more

Recently completed a complete refacing of our existing kitchen cabinets and could not be any happier. The quality of the product (soliid wood, as compared to the often recommended foil) was outstanding to the point of being like fine furniture. The installation, although somewhat difficult, was completed efficiently and with absolute perfection. No details remained overlooked. The installation team was very personable, detail oriented and meticulous in cleanup. Price wise, the product actually came in on par with other products, but the quality exceeds others by a mile. We are so happy with the work, we plan on having all of our bathroom cabinets refaced.
