I've lived in Laveen for about a year now and I can't believe I haven't heard about LG'S Barber Shop! More people definitely need to check this place out, they're awesome! I've visited all three of their locations on different occasions throughout the past couple of weeks, so I plan to leave a review on each of their yelp pages. I'm glad they have three different locations, it makes it so convenient when I'm at a different part of town. All their barbers are friendly and I've never had a bad experience! The first time I came in with my son and husband, initially planning on just my son getting a haircut. We were greeted when we came in, and we were helped by a very friendly man who was very patient with my son. As a mom, that made me feel so at ease...especially at a barbershop because kids can be so impatient and my son usually cries. This time, though... there was no crying!! The barber has such a way with kids and my son was giggling! After he was done with his haircut and we saw the finished result, my husband wanted one too! Now, we are regulars at the three barber shops and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new barber. These nice people will definitely take care of you! read more

I went in Saturday for a much needed cut. Seriously, I haven't had a haircut since about March and I couldn't stand feeling like a cave man haha. The service and cut were great! With everything that is happening Covid-related, I really appreciated how they are taking many precautions and creating a safe place to the best of their abilities. The gentleman who took care of me, as well as the other barbers there, would disinfect their chairs and stations before/after each client. They were also enforcing a limit of how many people were allowed inside. During these times, I think it's really important to do your best to keep everyone safe and I'm glad to say I have found a barbershop that shows they value their client's safety and their health. Getting a haircut may not be your very top priority at a time like this, but it makes me feel much better and I'm grateful for all the barbers and workers working during a time like this. I took a friend who needed grooming and a little clean-up after 3 years of personal neglect. The workers at the shop were very welcoming and professional. They treated my friend with respect and did an outstanding job cutting his hair and shaving his beard. My friend, who is very particular, was pleased with the service. The shop is clean and well kept. The waiting area was comfortable and contained magazines, there's even a kid's corner. This is one of my many times here and I've been really satisfied each time. A lot of people say that this place is a little pricey which in my opinion is not because you know what you are getting coming here. If you don't want to pay the price go somewhere else, somewhere cheap where you know they'd leave your hair a disaster. If you want a really great cut with all of the accoutrements of a great barber shop, come on over here. read more

So I am not sure if this is one of the official accounts of LG'S Barber Shop (They have one in Mesa and Tempe and Laveen) But just wanted to let everyone know, I am a regular at the Tempe shop and have been for 3 years. Got my hair messed up at a SuperCuts then a Frank's but discovered an LG'S shop and my hair was changed forever in a good way! Totally recommend. My good friend recommended me LG'S. Best haircut and shave I've ever had. I came in wanted a change of appearance. Lee was able to make recommendations based on what he thought would be a good look for me. The old fashion shave I got was a God-send! It made me feel more relaxed than I have in years. True professionals. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Nice guy. They have three shops around the valley so I find that convenient for a traveler like me. LG's is awesome! Just moved here from Flagstaff and noticed a barber shop down the street. Saw the good reviews so I decided to give it a go. Accepted walk-in which is good because I'm busy. Very clean, The barber that I watched give a haircut and the barber that gave me mine, were extremely detailed. Used a razor around my ears and neck. Great place to go. I just got my cut by LG and it's easy to say ur barber is the fav cut but it's really not he does a great job and is always in a good mood what he does and how he cuts makes ur hair look good so please try this shop out there not that popular but there really good so just try to switch up for once and try him out read more
