I lived in Laveen from 2008-2012. I moved from California. (San Diego) I also spent time in ohio, and these barbers are the best around. Avoid this place. I've given them 3 chances at this point. I've never been super impressed with the haircut but they are close to my house; today was the last visit for me. 1. They are usually late. 2. The haircut was horrible. I asked for a hard part. Marisol cut in an extra part below my existing part. I've never had to explain to a barber to use the existing part in my hair. Now I have a shaved head up to a cut in part a centimeter of 1 inch hair and than my old part than my longer hair. I asked for a 2 all the way to the part. Worst quality of haircut I've experienced. I'll have to go to another barber this week and try and have it salvaged. read more

Just got a haircut 5 mind ago and was not impressed. Apparently they close at 630pm on Tuesdays because I was made aware of it as soon as I got called. I walked in at 625pm sat down and immediately got called up by a female barber (3rd chair on the left) Once I got to her chair, she tells me "she closes at 630" I looked at the clock and said okay...thinking SHE called ME to her chair. With obvious attitude that she was displaying, I asked if she was okay. She gave me a sarcastic smirk. Needless to say, it was a rushed, half assed cut. I was asked to pay while getting a cut in the chair since the register was being counted. If you're so worried about closing, then why call the next person? read more

Tried to give this place a chance because we are looking for a closer barbershop in the Laveen area for our sons. Well we were not at all impressed. We used the Booksy app to schedule an appointment and there was some confusion, that should've been handled more professionally, in the end our kids got their haircut, but it was awkward. We also told one of the barbers how our son likes his hair because he likes his hair a certain way, she did not care, and did the total opposite of what our son wanted. Never again will we be going back to this place. read more

Just left there with my 3 boys. I had to monitor the hair cutting because the 3 barbers didn't listen to what my boys wanted. Then I got attitude from the female at the 3rd chair on the west side. They advertise for kid discounts but the female told me no and charges me $63...more than the advertised regular kids haircut!!! My wife took our son to get his haircut there, but the women who cut his hair did a poor job. I had to take him back to same place to see if they would, and thankfully they did. When we went back for the fix one of the gentlemen asked if I tried cutting his hair at home. I told him no, my wife took him here. He was shocked too. I looked up a few barbershops in the laveen area to see which had the best pics and rating. I decided to come here, biggest mistake of my life. I have really long hair and decided to get an undercut after almost a year of thinking about it. I showed the women the photo, and this is what I got. Completely uneven. She cut me up and the point is so much higher up than the photo. She was in a rush because she had another client coming and I just wish she would've not taken me if she didn't have the time. Omar was recommended to me for my VERY squirmy 2 year old. My son has always had horrible haircuts because he moves so much. Omar was able to cut his hair and make sure everything looked even and not choppy and kept assuring me that it was "ok" the my son was screaming and crying. This is the best barber place in Laveen. Trust me for the previous 2 years that I lived here I have gone to 3 barbers around here. Just look at my terrible experience on supercuts@_@ Get Poli his off wednesday, and their off sunday. Update 2015- i dont know why but it seems like the quality of haircut has decline. I still go here and go almost every other month. My hair grows fast. Yet for the last 2 haircut I have noticed that alot of my hairs are off, or just not right. I dont usually get Poli anymore since my schedule wont allow me to. I usually check my hair before leaving but i never had to do it here before since their haircut usually was spot on. I will try them again next month but i will be more cautious now. read more

This barbershop is top-notch. They have a ton of employees and always give good quality haircuts. There has not been a time yet where I didn't like the type of haircut I got. There barbers are so good that I gave my main barber free reign to cut my hair how he wanted and he did not disappoint one bit. All the barbers are great but my top 2 favorites are Abdiel and Marisol. The only downside I would have to say is that sometimes the wait times can be a anywhere from 30 minutes to maybe a couple hours depending on the day you go. However, their long lines is a good sign of how popular they are so I don't mind waiting. You can also use an app called Booksy to book appointments in advance to avoid the wait times. read more

No appointments needed. When we walked in we were greeted with a friendly greeting. My friend needed a specific haircut, which he showed the barber some pictures from his iPhone. The barber looked at it and nailed it! She was super nice and the atmosphere in the barber shop was very friendly. It seemed like a lot of regulars that were there, I got to chat with them while I was waiting. In full, if you're in the area, this is the place to go for a clean, and urban cut. The only problem was that there were only two barbers there. We waited probably a total of 45 minutes. Other than that, highly recommended place for a nice, clean cut! read more

I realize this guy needs experience but at 20 bucks I guess I need to find a new one. When you hane an older customer who is a vet and on blood thinners I was beyond sad. Took my 2 year old son here and had a great experience with Omar. I had my doubts on how it would work out but Omar did a great job, even let my son play with a car that was on there shelf. So I finally decided to try a different barbershop closer to Home and this place was closest to Home so I went in for a straight shave and explained exactly what I needed and they totally screwed it up.... Not only did the Barber cut me twice and didn't say sorry either times and didn't clean the light bleeding but also shaved off almost all my mustache and left me with a this line across my face!.... I was so mad I had to shave it off when I got home......Please stay away from this play.....Its not worth it and every Barber barely speaks English.... Not cool. read more

I've came to this place mutiple times over the past 2 years and I've never been more unhappy with a haircut in my life than I was today with the Barber Patty, I came in and waited no longer than 15mins and once Patty asked how I wanted my hair cut I said a Tapper from a 3 down and I wanted the top front of my hair to match the length of the back top part of my hair. then towards the end of the Cut I recieved my shaved cut finish like usual and the 2 lines I get going along the top side of my head. Once Patty was done I looked at my cut and didn't see anything I wasn't happy with at first glance, then I paid and went to examine my hair again my girlfriends car, there she and I both pointed out the lines were obviously not similar and she pushed my hairline too the sides an ridiculous amount to some how make up for the horrible line work. This Baber Patty is obviously not as skilled as she thinks she is since she repeatedly told me she could fix the lines to make them symmetric but that obviously wasn't possible, This review deserves a 0 Stars and Patty shouldn't be trusted to cut hair any more, she couldn't even shave me right since she ended up cutting me and leaving a bleeding dot on my forehead. HORRIBLE HAIRCUT AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT RECOMMEND read more
