I made an appointment on Yelp, received a confirmation email and all. I showed up 5 minutes early. The barber didn't show up for another 30 minutes. Then his next client showed up. He claimed I had no reservation and said he couldn't serve me. Luckily the other guy wasn't in a rush and was fine with me going first. Greg said it is best to use his website for booking appointments. I made the appointment for a standard men's haircut, he ended up charging me more because I had long hair. Understandable. Greg was nice and informative. Overall a good haircut. I would not suggest or return do to bad logistics and changing prices. read more

Update!! To Pinkys Barbershop! And Greg! What a let down 2nd visit with my son smelled of Marijuana after last client left. A smell my 14 year old later asked me about how embarrassing! Still my son liked his haircut. So attempted to schedule 3rd visit unsuccessful/ unavailable to produce. Communication through text just as we did with the first visit. No big deal. Few days later texted the day before giving more notice. Greg agreed to 4:15 apt arrived at 4pm door closed, text to let Greg know we were there no response! Didn't open door for fear another smoking session in play at 4:15 texted again to say we walked next door to get drinks and to let us know when he was ready. Greg called at 4:30 to say we were late and we didn't show, and he moved on to next client and we would have to reschedule! Greg tried to say we didn't show yet my car was parked right in front of his door, also said he doesn't check text messages which he had plenty to say with text after his call to me. This is about a 30 min drive from our house not close! Absolutely rude to blame a customer when he forgot apt or didn't bother to check his phone. Especially when you run your businesses on your personal phone come on now! So disappointed, unfortunately my son got a real life dose of the kind of shady people in the world and a good example on how not to run a business. If you have kids don't bring them here! And Greg if you don't make appointments! Then don't make apointments! You didn't do anybody any favors! If it's a walk in kind of place, then let the air be clear of the smell of drugs for all ages to walk in at any time. I said I'd be there in an hour or so which he acknowledged. When I arrived an hour and a half latter he said he was closed. Wasted my time for the last time.... In reply to Greg's response: OK you want to play time games. You called back at 9:18. But considering your posted business hours are 9-5 Mon-Sat, time really doesn't mean that much to you. I walked in needing a quick cut and beard trim. I am pretty picky and skeptical about barbers and their so called expertise with beards, but Gregory the owner proved me wrong. He told me I was gonna come out looking sharp and I sure did , I hardly explained what I needed done, he just knew, and he gave me tips on how to keep my beard looking nice and sharp. He did it all in less than 40 minutes, for an AWESOME price, I was so impressed afterwards as my beard trim/design was pure perfection, and good barbers are hard to find. I had been there before just for a cut, but I was blown away this time by Gregory's skills and for knowing exactly what his customers want. I'm blown away by the quality of the haircut I got at Pinky's. My usual barber (from a different barbershop) was sick, and so on the recommendation of two of my friends I gave this place a try. I'm really glad I did. Greg, the owner, does every haircut himself, and he's extremely personable. If you, like me, don't quite know what kind of haircut you want or are terrible at putting it into words, Greg is extremely patient and offers good suggestions that work with your hair. He'll also pause at various stages in the haircut to check with you on length and style. That way, you can see how it looks before deciding if you want to go shorter. Since I'd told Greg that I wanted something low-maintenance, he gave me a cut that looked good without any combing or styling. He then offered to show me a couple quick styling options, and ultimately recommended a simple pomade look that he felt worked best with the way my hair naturally behaved. He then trimmed and shaped my beard, ending with a straight razor shave, all at a very good price, and ended up giving me the beard trim for free (even though I was more than willing to pay for it)! The haircut came out great, and I'm incredibly impressed with the amount of time and attention he gave to it. Greg is meticulous and detailed, and is not the type of barber to rush any haircut. Even if you think you're happy with your current barber, I highly suggest you give Greg and Pinky's a try. I'm very glad I did, and I've found my new regular barber because of it. One tip: I'm told the hours on the weekdays can fluctuate a bit depending on Greg's schedule (especially later in the day), so if you don't get an answer from the barbershop phone number, he suggests calling his cell phone at 602-883-5435 to make sure he'll be there. read more
