Agreed with the other review. She only cares about money. She tried charging me 800$ for a wellness exam, a health exam, and some other exam. ...this was all in the same appt by the way. An appointment where she took my blood pressure and gave me food. That was it. Oh - her nurse gave me a B6 shot that swelled up so bad my skin cracked and I had to go to the ER. (The ER said whoever gave the administered it in the wrong area- causing the swelling) Then she has you come back every 2 weeks to rip you off some more. read more

Dr.Sherry Li is wonderful and my whole family trusts their health to her. My condition requires monthly blood work and she takes the time to draw the blood herself which is greatly appreciated. Dr Li is someone that I recommend. read more

Worse doctor ever had. Only care about money. 1 physical keep asking me do "further" check up. Already charge me 3 times copay for further office visit.( unnecessary further checkup) and there is more. The billing lady is very rude, When I mention other doctor didn't charge me any copy on annual physical since my insurance card show $0 for wellness, Quote on Quote, she said " YOU WELCOME TO GO OTHER DOCTORS, EVERY OFFICE IS DIFFERENT, WE CHARGE EVERYONE" seriously, my insurance ID already state you don't have to paid. After I check my insurance policy and called back 2 months, The billing lady said we credit you copay back and already done 1 month ago, but I never get the money back if I never call. Dr. Li is a great general doctor. She doesn't rush to treatment (doesn't over-prescribe), takes time with her patients, and really cares. However, she tends to diagnose everything as vitamin D deficiency, which has so far cost us $160 in extra bloodwork costs (without vitamin D test would have been routine and $0 cost) -and $70 in a routine physical that she coded as non-preventative care. Her billing person freaked out at me and refused to re-code. So - if you want a great doctor but to pay extra insurance costs because they don't care about being cost-effective, this is the doctor for you. read more

Absolutely awful. The only reason I even went there was because her medical assistant Allison, made me so comfortable and Ann the secretary is so welcoming but apparently she cut the staffs hours to save a buck. She is constantly going on vacations, running around like a chicken with her head cut off and answering her phone during her time with patients. The office manager is cold and rarely in the office when I call and when I do talk her, she speaks to me as though I'm dumb. The exam rooms are filthy with rips on the bed and pen marks everywhere. Very unprofessional. Looking for another PCP as we speak. She likes to run unnecessary tests and is one of the greediest doctors I've come across in my long life, and that's saying a lot. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Li for so many years, she is OK, but the billing is horrible, I called to schedule an office visit, front desk asked if I want see doctor same day, I said yes, then I was charged for an emergency visit of $70, I had a vaccine recommend by Dr. Li, she wants see the result in 4 days, it only took one second for the follow up, I was charged for another office visit. not sure if other doctor is same way. read more

I've been with Dr. Li for many years until the charges became ridiculous. She ordered unnecessary tests so that she can charge the insurance and me more. I always paid the remaining balance the next time I visit. This time I have some questions about an ~$100 charge so I figure I'll ask them next time I go there. Well she sent that $100 bill to the collection agency which calls me on a daily basis. I do not understand why your family doc will do this to a patient who trusted you for so many years... I called the office today and the office manager said its in the collection process and there is nothing they can do. Ok well do you think a patient like me will ever go back? read more

I have been searching for a Primary Care Physician for some time. I set up an appointment with Dr. Sherry Li with a recommendation from a very trusted Dr. Marc Benton .. Dr. Li is double board certified for internal medicine as well as weight loss. she finally has me on the right track with my health. Anyone who complains about this Doctors billing should look no further than their own insurance company because we all know what they are all about these days. Dr Li listens and treats you with dignity and respect. She is phenomenally intelligent and able to figure out a treatment plan immediately. Dr. Li also draws any blood test in her own office personally . This saves you time and money going to Quest or Lab Corp... I am going to continue to be a patient as long as possible. One star is being generous. She is a terrible doctor and an even worse person. All she cares about is collecting copays and making fraudulent charges such as triple fees for a single visit. I was under a specialists care where timing was everything. She was out of the country for a month and never returned my calls. I went there to talk to her in person the day she got back and she made me pay to ask her a question , charged me 3 different things 1)consultation 2) office visit 3) reproductive something. Some BS. Unless your one of her weight loss clients she could give a rats ass about you. I suggest you steer clear of this office and the one of the receptionists is rude as hell. Should have listened to the other bad reviews. Learned my lesson. read more

Avoid at all cost. I many times felt she did not care about me, but about the money. In fact, I was charged for 2 visits the same day I went for my annual check-up. The annual check-up was the only thing my insurance paid 100%. They did not make the correction, even after I called the insurance. Bottom line, she sent the remaining unpaid amount (insurance only paid a portion of the over-charge) to a collection agency. No customer service or patient consideration. She rather lose a patient than lose a dollar (never a doctor before charged me for two visits in one......what kind of practice is this?). The interesting thing is that I always had a deficiency and needed medicine / vitamin (which she happens to sell at her office), and when tested for the same thing at another doctor, it appears I was fine (?). Last time I went there, she had new staff and they appeared not to know what they were doing. The girl that took my blood was dripping it throughout the room as she did not secure the container or something (was a bit uncomfortable to see this). I can keep going on and on, but my time is worth it. Just be careful when selecting a doctor and if they do not work for you, change fast (my mistake too). No second changes when it comes to your well being. read more
