Even after moving this place is horrible! Had my apartment professionally cleaned. Only to be charged for "bag of trash" in laundry room. And a charge to replace the carpet which was damaged cause the upstairs unit had a leak. They found random additional charges to ensure I didn't get my security deposit back ie charged me for renters insurance which I have had since the day I moved in. Then I got a bill in the mail asking for an additional fees to be paid which was different from what their electronic system reported. Listen! We have cracks in our ceiling and walls and they wouldn't come even check it out until about 4 days and when they looked at it they said that they would have to take about another 4 days to paint it and fix it. Maintenance is pretty good. Apartments other wise are pretty good. Pool is good and gym is great clean. read more

Absolute liars. Unable to move in on time for our move in date. Was told, to our face during our inspection walk, where we were not aloud to take notes, that's the shower dirt was "wear and tear" see photos and decide for yourself. We found mold, dirt, hair, and dust all over. When asked the management team blamed the cleaners and said we "you're not alone". How is that better?!? So all of the suites are filthy?! None of management had sympathy for the situation, only excuses. We were offered a pathetic $200 credit. Not even offer a reasonable resolution like a professional cleaning. read more

This place has gone downhill. The staff has turned over at least twice in the less than 3 years that we've been here. Every year our rent goes up, and amenities go down. While many of the apartments have been completely renovated, they did a shoddy job and cut many corners to save on costs. There are many things that are downright unsafe about the place. For example, we didn't have a fire extinguisher or tested smoke detector for nearly our entire first year living here. Several electric sockets were not installed properly, which is another fire safety concern. There have been times the pool (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day) randomly closed without notice. There was at least one time in the summer of 2017 that the management in the leasing office knew of a chemical problem with the pool and did not put a sign up until the next day. Unknowing tenants, including children, were swimming in unsafe water, and they didn't even care! What makes it worse is that the pool is clearly visible from their office windows. The leasing company also requires an unheard of 60 day notice period before turning your apartment over and they charge exorbitant month-to-month rental rates, which is something to seriously consider since most people move from the apartment complex to a house, and the process of closing on a house can be difficult to time. There aren't many options for apartment rentals in the area yet, though there have been talks of a new one coming to Solon. Meanwhile, consider renting a house for a similar price instead! read more

These apartments have mice. I WILLL NOT recommended these apartments to anyone. I have two small daughters and this makes me sick. I heard some noise under my stove yesterday and happen to SEE with my own two eyes a mouse run from under my stove to go across the kitchen under the dishwasher. After I got the courage to move my stove I then saw these traps here. I did NOT place these here. They were here since I moved in and I am now just seeing this. Once I called the office to inform them about the mouse situation all they said was they would call an exterminator to come by. I was frightened to have a mouse IN MY KITCHEN. So I then called again to have the office receptionist tell me there was nothing she could do I was on the list for the exterminator to pass by and that was that. I called at 10am, exterminator came at 1pm. The only thing the exterminator did was change the black triangular container that according to the exterminator it is rat poison. THATS ALL THE EXTERMINATOR DID. Nothing else. If you are looking to rent here, JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE these apartments have mice!! Let me add that I insisted to the Exterminator if we could further search for the mouse since I had seen what hole the mice came out of, exterminator said there was nothing he could further do to help but simple replace the triangular poison containers. Exterminator did not act surprised and was in my apartment for probably a total of 5 min he did not car of Any concerns that I presented to him and seemed to be in a hurry to leave. The exterminator DID find traces of mice and activity because the bait for the mouse was half way eaten, he then insured me that the mouse that had eaten the bait would surely be dead by now, (witch he's not because I saw the mouse again last night) this was not an isolated situation because there are other reviews of mice on here and neighbors complaining of the same issue. Update: AFTER 4 days of dealing with this mouse that kept coming out every night to eat the bait, that exterminator insisted would kill him. My fiancé ended up moving the mouse trap right next The the hole I mentioned to the maintenance workers the mouse was coming out of. Mouse was finally caught and killed by trap. Thank god this mouse is dead now. I leave this review only to inform people about this issue here. Let me tell you the office staff Tanina Hart and including manager (Laura) made me feel like I was disturbing them Every time I would inform them about this mouse. Tanina would constantly raise her voice at me and became frustrated with me. Even though (owner) wrote here to please contact them if I had any other issues. The street has a lot snow and it toke 24 hours for them to start to clean a little bit. but by the garage had a lot snow their excuse was not having people or space to put the snow people live in cheaper apartments and have all the parking clean. there are cars stuck, people had to call off there jobs. if someone had an emergency there is no way to go. the guy in the office told me to go buy a shovel, why do I have to do that if live in apartment so I don't worry about the snow. we called the emergency number and they just disconnected the call. After moving into an apartment that was in complete disrepair, cabinet door fell off in our hands, almost every faucet needed replaced, dishwasher fell out of its spot and my fiancé cut his hand open on it when he caught it, water damage under sink, ripped screen door, broken toilet, having to spend our only time off all week waiting for maintenance to arrive to come in and fix the issues (we have dogs and need to be able to secure them while they are working), spending a total of about 4+ hours waiting while maintenance did repairs, and to top it all off the place was filthy and not properly cleaned, the property manager Michael Mitro offered us a rent credit of $200 which is not even 1/5 of what we paid for the last two weeks we have had to endure. After lying to us and telling us the filth, mold, and body hair left in our shower was just "wear and tear," Michael Mitro had the audacity to tell us that asking for our $1029 back was "unfair" because "well, we fixed all the maintenance issues". He had absolutely zero empathy for the fact that we have been living in the previous tenants filth for two weeks during a pandemic no less, did not offer nearly enough money to hire professional cleaners, and had complete disregard for the amount of hours we have had to spend with strangers in and out of our apartment to fix the issues that should have been fixed prior to our moving in, all after botching our move in day. Michael Mitro, property manager, looked us in the eye and told us that they "dropped the ball," that our move in day was the first time they set foot in our unit and that it had not been inspected at all, and that we "were not the only ones" who moved into a filthy apartment. Knowing you messed up is not enough. You need to fix the problem and fix it fairly. Hire new cleaners and reimburse people for their time and disgust. $200 is a slap in the face after everything we went through. We paid for a product and GCI, Liberty Hill, Michael Mitro, and the rest of the management team did not deliver that product. We were so excited to live here, are extremely upset by the situation, and would have never posted this review had they given us a fair resolution. read more

I want to give props to the maintenance crew at the Liberty Hill Apartments Tariq and CJ specifically. I've lived here for nine months and until these guys came on board it was almost impossible to get things fixed timely or, accurately the first time. My first encounter with these gentlemen blew me away very professional very fast and very accurate clean process. Very happy with Liberty Hill for making some upgrades in this area! read more
